In a modern day RUclips landscape, it feels so bizzare to stumble upon a RUclipsr who simply films themselves sitting in a chair talking about stuff... Like this was so commonplace 10 years ago, but nowadays basically no one does it. Gives your videos a sort of a nice retro vibe.
10) As soon as I saw what movie it was, I knew what scene it would be. That's one of those moments where you realize that this movie may have wacky toons, but it is not messing around! Fun fact: Dip is actually material animators used to use to remove paint from animation cels. It's clever and horrifying! 9) I wouldn't be surprised if that moment had an effect on many kids. But I saw a documentary about Wallace and Gromit before the short, so I knew Preston was a robot. Still he's an awesome villain! Close Shave is so great. Side note, you should definitely check out A Matter of Loaf and Death. If you thought Preston was scary, ooooh boy. 6) I'm only a casual Star Trek knower of things, but I know TNG the best. This is an amazing episode and it makes sense why it's hailed in the fandom as arguably the best in the series. Though I'd be willing to bet that i I saw this as a kid, it would have scarred me for life. Brainwashing stuff like this is always terrifying then, but now it's become one of my all time favorite tropes! Because I have problems. Hopefully this comment wasn't annoyingly long. Looking forward to Part 2!
10. I didn't know that about the Dip's ingredients. That's a very clever addition! 9. Preston is a great villain, yeah. And I'll check out _A Matter of Loaf and Death_ at some point. 6. _TNG_ is a great show, and this episode is great. Brainwashing has always been a fear for me, too (and there's more of this in my eventual #1 spot), but I can imagine that as a writer one would grow to enjoy it, haha. Thanks for the comment! I just posted part 2. :)
Wait, so the freak toys from Toy Story didn't scare you back then? I still get goosebumbs whenever I see them! They're uncanny AF! _Maybe I'm just a wimp..._
I know a lot of the more diehard fans will crucify me for saying this, but I still stand by my opinion that Star Trek: The Next Generation is way better than The Original Series. I'm sorry, but TNG had more good episodes, and even the bad episodes were better than The Original Series' bad episodes.
@@DJKrimskull Better late than never, right? I think a year ago I was getting so many comments (mainly due to the Van Halen video blowing up) that I missed this one at the time.
Hey, your review channel reached 1,000 subscribers! About time that it did! Congrats!
Thanks! I wasn't expecting to get there so soon, but I'll probably do some sort of 1,000 subscriber special next month before my planned hiatus.
I forgot about that music video! The melting Barbie always stuck with me the most.
Such weird imagery for a similarly weird (but good) song.

the scene where Judge Doom puts the shoe in the dip traumatized me when I first saw it!
Same
Great video, I also loved Wallace & Gromit as a kid!
Also, congrats on 1000 subs!
Thanks for the comment! Wallace and Gromit just have a certain charm to them, don't they?
@@THSReviews They sure have, they were hilarious

Awesome
This is completely unrelated by the way, but I LOVE the fact that you used Ghosts IV - 34 by Nine Inch Nails for the intro.

Nah, you're good. My best friend said he still hasn't revisited the first movie because of them.

I do love the hell out of _The Original Series,_ but _TNG_ holds up a lot better in many respects.
I mean honestly the black hole sun music video look scary

Wow, you were scared by that? Didn’t know that you were a wimp when-
(Nah jk, great video!)
where's part 2?
Tomorrow...
I'm surprised you didn't use the infamous reveal of Judge Doom near the end. But the Shoe death is still creepy as fuuuuuuuck
I honestly thought his reveal at the end was funny. XD Different things scare different people, I suppose.
Another great video dude.
Thanks for the comment!
I also love Wallace and Gromit

Can you do a video about what tv shows you'd watched as a kid?
That would be an interesting video to make.
@@THSReviews Why are you replying to my comments, a year after they were made.
