- Network cables cut to size. How very nize.
(commence booing in 3... 2...)
I thought I'd show off the start to end process of making a custom length CAT6 patch cable. Turns out this resulted in a 34 minute video. Oops. Наука
I am a fire alarm, security alarm, and CCTV technician, and this video taught me how to make these connections when I was first starting out. Thanks for that!
No way! I'm really happy to hear it, but also sorry you had to find out the Slow TV kind of way. :*D
"cheating scallywags" I love these videos so much thanks for making them
They totally are! >=( Happy to hear you enjoy the videos! They're fun to make and I learn a lot every day.
Come back, glorious Swedish calculator man!
This is new for me,I really enjoy the videos..they are very educational aswell as comforting
New perspective! New challenges.
Next time I will absolutely pay better attention to the viewscreen.
1stSpyGuy anxiously awaiting for your next video! Hope all is well!
Nice relaxing and educational video. Thank you!
Any new video from you makes me happy, looking forward to this one! Longer videos are awesome!
I'm glad to hear you think so. When I was done with the editing I realized "shoot, it's 34 minutes. Who would want to watch a 34 minute tutorial?". Good to hear I didn't need to worry.
Love these videos. I found your channel through an unrelated one for asmr but now I can't stop watching these because they are just interesting and it's always cool to learn something new everyday. Hoping your doing well and that we can hopefully get a new video soon. Maybe something different that you havnt shown yet that piques your interest.
Thanks for the video. Lock picking sounds interesting? Perhaps a video on that?
Hm, maybe. I'm no bosnianbill by any stretch, but I do know my way around a set of picks.
But are these cables in the style of an Odhner? Can they do squares? How many decimal places?
Finally a longer ASMR video
Great video - Comhem truly are the worst..
Don't get me started. =(
Hello, This may be a bit off-topic from the video, but have you ever thought of doing a TF2 commentary video? Btw, Your content is the most unique and interesting content i've seen in a while, keep up the good work pal :D
I've considered it. Might be a fun thing to do, although I wouldn't say you'll learn much from watching me play. It's been a while since I was at the top of my game.
In the video you're using the "B" wire order, although I've never heard either the A or B methods referred to as "American" or "European". I was taught and always used the B method you use and I'm an American.
Huh, that's interesting. The material I used to read up on this stuff said American and European.
Perhaps the nomenclature is also an American or European standard.
You ok? Been a while since you uploaded
Yes, quite alright, thank you for the concern. I've been away on vacation for quite some time. Currently nursing a hearty case of the jetlag.
I've been wanting to do this myself but was intimidated because I did not know where to start. Now I learned! You mentioned lock picking, is that a hobby of yours too?
It's actually surprisingly easy. All you really need is the crimping tong, wirecutters and the cable stuff itself, of course.
The tester is very useful and so is the cable stripper, but you don't necessarily need them.
Can't say lockpicking is a hobby as much as "another weird skill I picked up on a whim", fun to do on occasion, though.
Who makes that orange case?
Sadly, I have no idea. All I can say is that it's quite old.
Sup bro? Haven’t seen any new videos from you lately. How’s life??
Hey. Life's decided to step up its game and things are stellar, even though I've been claimed by work. I recently got a new calculator I've been wanting to show off, but have so far been too tired to make a video of it.
I never finished mine, ran um through the attic n i think they got kinked
i am very triggered by the fact that your cuttingboard has one slanted blue line that is shorter than the other ones. whyyyyyyy
Worst part of IT. I hate terminating cables with a passion
worse example I have seen of someone trying to make a simple Ethernet connection.
Well that is just unnecessarily mean
