When we are sick, I make a big pot of turmeric ginger tea 10 cups to 12 cups of water, a handful of fresh, turmeric and ginger sliced up up,no need to peel . black pepper, because that activates the turmeric, peel from 2 to 3 lemons, preferably organic. I cook it on low for like 30 minutes, strain, the liquid . Take off the heat and add the juice of the three lemons. Strain the tea it will keep in the fridge for a few days . I usually leave the pot sitting out throughout the day on the stove and it’s also great over ice. When the tea cools a little bit in your cup. You can add raw honey. Remember turmeric does stain, so be careful with your counters😊 my daughter and I have been watching you since 2020. Love your videos and absolutely love sprouts ❤❤❤ I do buy my ginger and turmeric either at a local farmers market or from Whole Foods Whole Foods has the best selection nice big pieces that are sold loosely not prepackaged.😊

The Once Upon A Farm is Jennifer Garner's company and it is an excellent product. No kids in this house but I buy them all the time for myself! Sprouts is a fun store. I shop there often. The pasture eggs at Sprouts are the cheapest you'll find anywhere. They are a lot more expensive at TJ's, regular grocery stores and, of course, Whole Foods. Good haul Katie

We love Good Culture cottage cheese. The protein amount is amazing and the probiotics as well. We cant eat any other brand now 😊 They have singles too which are great to take to work, lunches etc. They do go on sale often where I am in Northern CA so keep checking! Bel Gioriso cheeses are excellent! All of them! So high quality. Their fresh mozz is 10/10 too. That unicorn drink looks so interesting, love the packaging. I have never been to sprouts before, but I’m planning my trip to one asap!
I've been very lucky to get pasture raised organic eggs from my parents, who buy them from their Amish neighbors for me. Thank goodness, because they will do two dozen for only $4.00 🥺🤍

Ginger lemon w honey is a good hot drink to help w coughing also. And Sprouts also has the Eucalyptus essential oil which you rub on your chest to help w coughing. In case you didn’t know: Avoid dairy when you have a respiratory illness. Hope everyone feels better soon!
Breathe Easy works! I also back them for travel to refresh after a stuffy flight or if feeling congested. The other one I love is Throat Coat… works wonders to calm a cough (cold or allergies). I keep both stocked at all times

Found a nearby Sprouts and went especially for the Watkins pepper😟they did not have it. But I did find espresso powder which I’ve been looking for to bake my German cookies!

Hope you’re all feeling better soon! I LOVE Sprouts! Do you have the app? There’s a lot of great coupons. Have you tried Daring vegan chicken? I remember you used to like the Lightlife Smart Tenders. I used to love those too before they changed formula. Daring (in the frozen section) is also a non-breaded, neutral type “chicken” that’s good to season up for a variety of dishes. (There are seasoned and a breaded variety too but the original in the green bag is versatile). I think you might like it. It is expensive at full price but goes on sale regularly at Sprouts and is reasonably priced at Walmart.
Such a healthy haul. But- I always end up throwing out our salad kits- we cannot eat them fast enough. Do you have any tips to keep them beyond the date on the bag?
Wish I did but we eat ours well before the Best Buy dates. I have to admit salad is my favorite food and I eat at least one a day, if not two (lunch and dinner). I will say if you are having a hard time eating it add some warm foods to it like rice, beans, corn, etc….for some reason when they are heated it makes eating salad more satisfying and it stretches it so you have more to share with the family.
Just out of curiosity, why do you prefer organic eggs for eating but not mind when using them for baking? Absolutely no judgement, just found it interesting when you were talking about the eggs and would love to understand your thoughts around the topic 😊
Personally I would choose my fresh chicken eggs over anything but if I’m eating a scrambled egg I want to have the best taste. Organic chicken eggs are fed organic feed, what we feed our chickens as well, and you can really taste the difference. If they are being mixed with other ingredients the taste and flavor makes little difference in a recipe. Hope that helps answer the question :)
