I’m so glad we’re getting a team mode! I never got the chance to submit my mockups for a team mode in the Discord, but I’m glad we’re getting it regardless. I wonder if classes will get team-specific abilities when side dashing into a teammate, like Defenders granting shields, Speedsters / Tricksters granting a speed boost / nitro fuel, or Brawlers granting an offensive shield. The meta is gonna be so different in the team mode.

Team mode is definitely something we've asked for for months now especially since jumba was released. It's good for another game mode but I just hope it can be played offline. This game definitely needs more offline game modes
Speedstorm seems to be taking a page from Team Sonic Racing's book. (Admittedly, I like to play the "Boo's House" track from that game as the BGM for the Aladdin stage.)
I predict that Miss Piggy will be one of two mid-season racers in the Inside Out season, but I wonder who the second one will be.

I do wonder if there will be changes to make things newcomer friendly. Character specific season tour nodes and difficult to get/gold pass racer event requirements will be a huge killer for newcomers.

Team racing alone just might get me to hop on more frequently again. Ngl this last month ive only been getting on a couple of times a week. This next season sounds like an actual positive update

So hyped. My younger siblings love playing on their phones so this might be an opportunity to play with them.
I’m mad I skipped season 7 now. I was so fed up with everything I just took a break for the whole season and finally seems like some positives are coming and I’ll be behind on these new racers. I had every racer up to that point

I don’t really like the 7 racer season for this one ,more money and resources you have to spend to level characters I don’t want to level but I want to compete in the next two seasons I have to level because they gonna have to be at least 30 or 40 to complete future events , I don’t like the kart design or this current season choice , I think it’s just a cash grab to go along with the movie that’s coming

Not quite. It is in early access in some regions but has not had a widespread release yet, especially in some bigger markets.

Because the game is still in beta testing since August 2023 (or as they call it soft launch), I think that from next season it will be available for more devices.

The game barely runs on the switch, I can't imagine it will run well, if pretty much at all, on smartphones. Also the lag and sync over wifi.. Not to mention controls! Phones are mostly tap, and swipe. Um.. the game requires a whole ton more than that, for the drift and everything. The game will need radical changes just to work for mobile. I can't actually imagine they are getting the same game, they somehow have to simplify the controls.
I have gameplay up on my channel of the mobile version, it actually runs pretty nicely
@@skyliner_productions After watching, I do agree that the graphics look decent, on par with switch at least. Maybe switch is just really old.. lol. Hard to say if it is that good on all phones or pads. The controls however, I have tried games like this with the whole "emulated" control pad, it's pretty much trash. The vid kinda confirmed that a bit, and that mobile will always be at the very least a disadvantage due to a few quirks you can only do with multiple buttons.
I dropped off in season 7 so did they change the double Paid Golden Pass thing or nah? Also considering you got rewards by pre-registering, that only benefited people were already playing so I feel it's much more like 75% current players. Plus that still applies to anyone who pre-registered over a year ago and has since dropped the game and has no plans to return. But I hope it is a noticeable bump to keep the game alive.
