With Pirates being S9, your Muppets full season dream it's not Dead, Skyliner
I definitely believe some like Wall-E will never get a Season though cause who would they add. One I believe have more racer potential, but they pretty much ruined said potential by having them as crew is Jungle Book. I'm pretty sure most can agree that Shere Khan, King Louie, Bagheera and Kaa deserved spots as Racers, but they are stuck as crew and so far nobody is both crew and racer. However I do believe Muppets, Ducktales (in the Mickey and Friends collection since Donald and Daisy are there) and potentially Walt Disney World (Don't know the characters at all nor the potential racers) are very reasonable to expect. I do hope however that they make characters able to be both racer and crew to allow for more of Jungle Book as it definitely deserves more racers.
@@TheYodelingViking I hope somebody at Gameloft reads your Comment. A Jungle Book season would be thrilling. Aside from King Louie, Shere Khan, Bagheera and Kaa they could easily also make Shanti a racer, she was a protagonist in Jungle Book 2 after all.
I think Inside Out is perfect timing for the sequal
I stopped playing but this is cool to see. Maybe if they actually have full voices and revert the double golden pass paid only decision I'll be back. I hope everyone still playing is hyped and the game survives though.

same. I quit over the pass change. gameloft managed to go from over 7k peak concurrent players on steam in October to 500 peak this past week. shame because it wasn't a bad game but I can't support to monetization model
They can just make the Part 1 Golden Pass give you a Golden Pass Credit for the next part.

Interesting that there is more content for pirates of the Caribbean. Though it does seem odd, at least we’ll be getting more top speed crew for Swann, or at least I assume so.
I don't think we'll see seasons for franchises that have already received seasons, but we will for franchises that were in the base game. Maybe a Mickey and Friend season with Pete and Scrooge and Max
Man id love it if they had a ducktales season with Scrouge, the triplets and magica deSpell all from the reboot show.
Also I wonder if we will get a change for other Racers so that we can also get Kart Parts for them just like after S5 where thay added that and left other Racers on radio silence for that.
My predictions for US
Joy - Speedster: Creates a happy aura that boosts her and other racers (normal), collects memorie spheres that make fills her boost bar (charged).
Sadness - Defender: Creates a sad cloud that slows other racers (normal), protects herself with 3 sad memorie spheres (charged).
Anger - Brawler: Anger listens to the Triple Dent Gum song and starst a fire trail (normal), the same but creates 3 explosions (charged).
Fear - Trickster: Boosts foward and generates a new skill (normal), charges his boost bar and blocks the vision of other racers (charged).
Disgust - Brawler: Leaves some brocolies on track; se can collect them but other racers are slowed if they touch them (normal), the charged skill gives her boost depending on the brocolies collected (charged).
For me, I would make Sadness a Speedster and Disgust as a defender
As much as these seasons seem great, I really want Incredibles 😢

The Nightmare before Christmas: I might come back for this one and get the golden passes. The Nightmare before Christmas is a phenomenal movie so it should be a fun time playing.

My prediction is that Disgust will not be in the Inside Out season but later on they will release her and Bing-Bong as mid season racers

Hyped for the nightmare before Christmas as its been one of my most wanted seasons since launch. Disappointed about the pirates of the Caribbean season i just feel they have so many other options the could have went with.
I would love Sally’s ability to have to do something with taking off her arm

Pirates of the Caribbean season is later this summer. Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann are already as racers last year. Besides we have Will Turner, Tia Dalma, Captain Barbossa and Davy Jones
I never thought they would do an entire season for an already existing non-season collection like Pirates. This is pretty surprising to me.

I feel like it's not gonna be a 2nd POTC track for Season 9 because for each picture they showcased for the roadmap they showed part of the track relating to that franchise, put with the POTC picture it's just something from the track we currently have. So my prediction is that it will be a track for a mid-season racer franchise.
Just remember everyone more than half of these potential racers will be mute because of GreedLoft's laziness

@@jackboyfield5468 that's a delusional take, they are working with Disney, they can just reuse the raw audio recorded for the movies instead of calling in the voice actors
@@aceproductions43 I can understand why you might feel that’s a delusional take if you don’t understand how these things work.
They aren’t working with Disney in the way you suggest - they are utilising Disney IP via a licence I would expect and that’s where the collaboration will end. Many of the actors who contributed their voice to the movies will have been contracted to do that and specifically that in most cases - the contract won’t extend to this game. A fun example is that Tom Hanks work as Woody does not extend to other media and his brother gets to do Woody voice work on occasion.
That is why the developers will have to utilise the talented actors available within the Disney Voice Actor’s Guild which is not free.
I would suggest not using words such as ‘delusional’ in future when you don’t understand some elements of this. Happy to have a debate and admit I’m wrong where applicable so don’t come at me in that way.

Season 9 of pirates of caribbean was good news, the new roadmap should be proof anything, when the season pirates caribbean comes out, be prepared to anything

The only one that I’m truly excited about is Nightmare Before Christmas. I’m indifferent about inside out and disappointed in pirates. Thee only reason I’d keep playing the following two seasons is to collect the in game currency for the future just incase I may need them; but I definitely won’t bother with getting the season pass, it’s skip till NBC. Here’s hoping the bonus characters are more exciting 🤞🏻

I think the Pirates season might have at least one character form the 4th or 5th movie (maybe Angelica Teach, Blackbeard or Carina Smith)
I'm not super pumped for Pirates, but that's just because I'm not a fan of the franchise beyond the ride. If they were to add Captain Redd I'd be all in though. And a full Disney Park season is quickly becoming my most wanted season! The Hatbox Ghost, Trader Sam, the Yeti, The Shaman from Flight of Passage, the citizens of Hollywood, any of the Country Bears, there are so many ideas there and I'd love them all
I imagine Avatar would get its own season and Flight of Passage wouldn't get anything for the WDW collection, but on the flip side I could see Redd getting included for WDW rather than PotC since the ride and the film franchise are distinct from each other despite the addition of Jack to the ride.
I really liked these themes, but I would like it even more if season 9 was The Incredibles, one of my three credits goes to the Incredibles season, the other 2 go to seasons 8 and 10. But in short, I really liked it.
Tangled season is going to be great.

Part of me really felt like a pirates season was bound to happen since William and Davy Jones would make sense to be made as racers. I’m just curious if they will be expanding the roster for the Pirates season beyond four characters or make it where a focus on that means a chance to boost Jack and Elizabeth.
0:42 that's all I needed to know for now. So it's going to be a while for Tron content. So far I've been pretty happy with the Wreck it Ralph content finally. Though they just need to add one more racer and a new bonus track for a special treatment: Shank and Slaughterace track, I mean it's another video game-based racer, so why not? Also a voice add update for Calhoun, Felix and King Candy would be nice. I know for a fact that Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch and Alan Tudyk are well known for cartoon voice work in other shows and are bound to do some recordings later on when they have the time.

@@magnusdiridian Dark Crystal might be low chances. Robin Hood is a maybe someday. They might do Zootopia first though. Winnie the Pooh and the gang would be great racers along with 100 Acre woods as a track.

I doubt we'll get VA lines for Will Turner. Supposedly, Orlando Bloom is very protective about his likeness being used in other media.

I think it is exciting. I always thought each franchise should have at least 4 racers. Now, I think the plan may be that they eventually will. Most excited about Nightmare. Really happy with Wreck it Ralph season. Want Cruella D’ville.

I knew the roadmap would predict this except pirates and the Caribbean. With inside out 2 movie coming out that makes sense. With Halloween approaching after season 9 it makes sense that a Halloween theme will be placed there. On pirates I was a bit shocked as we already have one already but I agree as the franchise is huge with so many movies. What I’m curious on is what will the winter season 11 be? 101 dalmatians maybe or another frozen?

I just started this game and I am SO excited for Pirates and Nightmare
I'm happy that their bring in the Nightmare Before Christmas characters into the game this fall. The bonus race environment and getting another Pirates Of The Caribbean race track is also exciting. Think of the song they might remix.
I think it lines up perfectly with what Disney is doing for Pirates of the Caribbean this Summer. In Fortnite, according to the now confirmed leaked 2024 Roadmap - there is going to be a crossover with Pirates of the Caribbean in Chapter 5 Season 3 which that season is starting in a couple of weeks from now. While I don't know what extense this crossover will be, I can probably guess that the Bonus Character for that game's Battle Pass will feature one of the characters from that franchise. It might seem odd to put a Pirates themed crossover in what will actually be an Apocalypse themed season, they both have something in common that Anakin Skywalker don't like - SAND! That season will also feature Metallica as part of Fortnite Festival Season 4 which also has a crossover too for that season quite early on.
Why am I mentioning Fortnite stuff in a Disney Speedstorm video? Pirates of the Caribbean is in both of those games, and Disney has made a deal with Epic Games to not only bring characters but also make a mode/experience in Fortnite. We already got Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Epic has been wanting Jack Sparrow to be in Fortnite. So yeah... it's all coming together now. This is going to be one WILD summer for you guys in the Northern Hemisphere. I am excited for not only Jack Sparrow in Fortnite, BUT ALSO most importantly - Davy Jones in Disney Speedstorm... and I hope in whatever is in one of these future updates that they can REPLACE THAT DAMN THUMBNAILS IN XBOX ONE!? It still shows Toy Story Season. HELP!?

For anyone curious about seasons repeating with already existing franchises, this is nothing new with GL.
They do this with their other game "Disney Magic Kingdoms" and that's been around for 8 years. Just recently they did it with Hercules and Mulan too.
So no surprise they're now doing it with Speedstorm.
I think season 11 would probably Cars and Season 12 be Finding Nemo
Mei-lin from turning red might make a great shapeshifting racer, since her movie is pretty much all about that! A side mention, you may or may not have noticed, I was grinding out tokens and noticed that if you look from platinum forward on the Atlantis racers forward, the game reduced how many tokens you get as you rank up. Just compare it to other, older racers. It was/is a really sneaky change that is really hard to notice!
like I was expecting the season 9 to be Tangled, Zootopia, Peter Pan or Incredibles but I will take it cause I want to play as Davy Jones 😅

Hmm.. well I can say I've definitely been in love with the pirates of the Caribbean race track "A Pirate's Life." It's definitely fun. But I think out of everything, I'm definitely looking forward to The Nightmare before Christmas as that's always been a top favourite disney movie of mine ever since I watched it a few years ago. I really loved Sally the zombie and of course Jack Skellington, they've always been favourites of mine so I would definitely love to play as them when their season comes round some time in the future. Though I will say, it would have been more perfect if their season gets released in Ocotober in time for the spooky month. Still, I don't mind, I'd love to play as them early too.
Inside out, I dunno how to feel about them. Never really been much of a fan of the inside out series, but if Frozen gets another chance again with a release season, I would love that so I can get the full Frozen collection of characters since I missed out on Elsa, Anna and Olaf last time.

With Barbossa he turns undead in the moonlight and is immortal and they use the moonlight to attack people without fear of death. They could use it to make him immune to damage temporarily as he attacks people he comes across. He also used a poisoned sword in the 4th movie meaning he could do a sword attack that stuns and slows people down for a period of time. He also at the end of 4 got Blackbeards sword and ship, but that is without a doubt best reserved for Blackbeard himself.
For Davy Jones he can pass through walls on his ship and his ship can go underwater crossing between our world and the world of the dead. Will Turner also later became the Captain of said ship, but like Barbossa it should be kept with the original owner. There's also of course the Kraken.
For Tia Dhalma she did a couple noteworthy things in the movie. She is a witch later known as the actual Sea Goddess Kalypso that gave Davy Jones his curse and gave Jack his Compass. She became huge, turned into hundreds of small crabs and made a whirlpool. I believe her regular activation could put whirlpools on the track and charged she becomes multiple small crabs receiving quite a few shields (maybe 5 crabs and 4 shields as the 5th would hit her) and attack players nearby (this removing said attacking crab).
For Will it's a lot tougher obviously as with the exception of becoming the new Captain of the Dutchman he has nothing supernatural. He is a skilled Swordsman, but he is also a skilled blacksmith and gambler. One idea I have for him is making swords and throwing them on the track kind of like Kristoff.
Alright with this announcement and with the rumor of Fortnite getting Pirates of the Caribbean content, I’m watching all five films. It’s finally time 😎

I'm excited about the Pirates of the Caribbean season, I really hope to see Davy Jones!!! And being on the Inside Out track would be amazing!... I just hope they give them a voice... I still don't get used to playing with muted characters.

I’m actually excited for Pirates of the Caribbean being the ninth season. I actually WANTED to have Will Turner, Davy Jones, AND Barbossa to be in the game in the FIRST place. CANNOT WAIT for also Inside Out!
Omg. An enchanted tiki room racer. When they said Walt Disney World, I couldn’t think of anybody unique to that (so many rides have Disney characters from other franchises). But Tiki Room. 🤔

5:47 The Evil Queen from Snow White could be another prime candidate for a shapeshifting racer. Both her regular Evil Queen and old woman form are too iconic to not make it in the game. This way they would only have to do one racer for her.

inside out idk how they going to do them. however they could do comestics to make em look the parents emotions or other people.
as for pirates I hope they add tia dalma/calypso make her and her cart grow increasing her overall stats for charged special and give her immunity and for back special allow her to leave a trail of crabs that slow and give her boost and if someone is boosting into the crabs it steals there boost for her then normal special is voodoo doll thing since she is a sea goddess/voodoo preistess
as for nightmare before Christmas I hopeing for Jack I expect zero to be his best crew. Sally i expect her doll, oogy boogey is lock shock and barrel, i was hoping for nightmare before Christmas Santa claus for last racer with mid season being frankenweenie.
as for other seasons I hope for gargoyles,
they could do ducktales,darkwing duck, chip& Dale rescue rangers and talespin in the same season. scoorge as a racer with the boys as his best crew ,launchpad mcquack as a racer with plane as his best crew, webby/Lena duel racer, darkwing duck with gosalyn as his best crew, gadget hackwrench which could be because of one of her inventions With zipper,Monterey Jack and alternate version of chip and Dale from the show as her legendary crew.
talespin portion we could get an alternate Baloo and with kit as his best crew and then Rebecca Cunningham with her daughter Molly as her best crew and maybe alternate shere khan as a racer, and Don Karnage.

Inside out is alright even though I didn't watch the movie.
Pirates...I'm disappointed...especially when I barely know anything about it any the first movie slipped because I was too young to understand live action....better off wanting a Mickey & Friends sessons, but I guess I was declined.
And for The Nightmare before Christmas, it's ok. Only issue is that I have to call Jack "Sparrow" now since Jack Skeleton will be a racer in the game.

I understand. We didn't get to see those characters all that much. It's a possibility that they might end up in the game. But we don't really know yet.
New pirates season is a surprise to be sure but a welcome one
the game is sweet thank you Gameloft as always you know how to make games to make us happy, but we are asking you to improve on the cars and bring new cars because all the characters' cars are similar and we are asking you to bring us back the map to android and io
If it keeps turning into a pay-to-play I'm done with it I really enjoyed this game at first and I don't mind making the occasional purchase every once in awhile couple extra shards maybe a nice skin for the race cars but it's getting a little bit ridiculous to be able to unlock racers or work on the season you have to pay money to progress most people are too poor nowadays

Disappointed tbh. New Pirates racers would be great (Barbossa and Will are basically a lock, but then I hope they do Angelica and Carina from 4 and 5), but I really wanted a Sleeping Beauty or Princess and the Frog season. I wish GL would stop ignoring those two movies.
Tbh I'm only looking forward to the Muppets addition, Davey Jones and Oogie Boogie.
