Thank you, this is the best tutorial on this topic, you explained it in a way that is easy to understand and you explained the complete process. I have watched a lot of tutorials and none where able to make me understand the full process it was always half done or not in simpler terms. Thank you again. Subscribed!
@@illGatesMusic Okay I will check it out and give you another subscriber. Thanks much you have helped me more than you could ever imagined. working remotely is the now a days trend and I am happy to say I am now apart of the trend😎
I was not looking for this but I thought this was only if you added more inputs physically LOL and this is the only tutorial! I was looking for people that use it to stream. I had it for a while but now we are all streaming!
Great Video! Thank you! It's solved the issue of hearing my own mic. The problem I'm currently trying to solve is that I can no longer hear Zoom audio. The people I'm talking to on Zoom can hear me, but their audio has disappeared for me with this set up. Any thoughts?
awesome video thank you for making this. quick question - doesn’t the music from your speakers still go into your mic when streaming? i understand it doesn’t feedback because you’re not getting a loop since it’s not going back into the speakers from the mic - but doesn’t the music playing out of the speakers still go into the mic? does this cause any sound issues or does it just make the music louder to the listener/watcher?
This is killer, man. I've always had problems with 3rd party software..so many issues that I just stopped streaming music entirely and bought a GoXLR for my mic because I was tired of it. I'm assuming if I just need 2 channels (guitar / vox) that I would route 1&2 to mon L and R and just move 1&2 to another channel (where the monitors were previously or something)?
Awesome video! but that means your mic is always open and feeding the output from your monitor back into the stream right? Or have you found a way to solve that issue as well?
@@illGatesMusic i know you’re not sending the mic signal back to your monitors. But isn’t the rest of the music getting back through your monitors and into your mic and basically summing with the music in the stream?
Don't need to do any of this with the Twin. Just mute the microphone channel in Console, it'll still feed to the audience and you can mute it in your daw if using that as well.
Hi ! I have a problem ... When I do your this I have like a delay (2 signals) when I'm in OBS ... I don't know how to fix that ...😢 Can someone help me ?
It also doesn’t work for me. I think the problem is for me that the Apollo Twin doesn’t support this cue output thing. No matter what I try my mic is coming through the speakers. Only mute solves the problem but there is no signal coming through to obs logically… 😖 still searching a solution… for years now…
It wont work for me. Confusing: Even when I mute my mic (in Analog in 1) it will be transfered to OBS. I can´t turn the volume down. Even the CUE volume of the channel. nothing works... I set everything as you told. I am very confused....
This doesn’t work for me - I followed each step. The virtual channels are not receiving the input from the monitor out. Console doesn’t register any audio in from those virtual channels. I wish this worked for me…
Hey this is a super awesome workaround! I'm having an issue with my Apollo Twin Mk2...I setup Virtual 1/2 and Virtual 3/4 as inputs to be able to send my system and DAW audio separately, but when I try to setup Output 1/2 as Virtual I get no sound at all. Also made sure to set V1/V2 in audio midi setup. I only get sound if I set Output 1/2 as MON L and R. Any idea what I'm doing wrong??

Thank you a million times over! This has improved my streaming capabilities tremendously! You're the best!
Edit
Nevermind it’s for the Apollo lineup
It’s funny, cue/output routing is something I trip over a lot, but never thought to use in this fashion. Thanks from Boston! (Via Italy)
Man thank you so much. Been looking for this for years!!! Subbed !!
Finally, I found it! Thanks for making this video! 🙏🏿
Do you switch back to default when you’re not streaming or using OBS?
Thanks for the video brother! Respecta. Sorted me out with all I need to know about this issue.

You are absolutely incredible and you also inspire other artists! 🔥❤️
much love Daniela!
This is great stuff man. Nobody and I mean nobody explains how Apollo twin x works with live-streaming!!!!!! Thank you
Thanks! Yeah I was kinda surprised to see literally NOTHING on this topic. Glad to help!
SM-57. Love it
HI CAN U EXPLAIN HOW CAN I LINK MY INPUT TO MY OUTPUT FOR EACH CHANNEL IN APOLLO 16 THANKS IN ADVANCE

A little, but if you use a directional mic like an SM58 it's not too bad.

Main mix goes to OBS, cue mix goes to monitoring. Works perfect!
Thanks for the video! Does this also eliminate mic bleed or do you simply deactivate your mic?
Yup! Works GREAT!
Awesome video! but that means your mic is always open and feeding the output from your monitor back into the stream right? Or have you found a way to solve that issue as well?
No, that's the specific issue it solves. No headphones, no feedback!

Great Tutorials
Question you have 2 Soundcards I noticed one Apollo and Uad Twin
Is this the best way to stream with podcast ?
You only need one sound card for it to work. Works perfectly! I've never had to change it since I figured this out.
Awesome video, great explanation and very crisp sound.
Thankful for this!
bigup!
Ok great enjoy thanks bro! Ur the best
Great video, any thoughts on making this work with the Apollo Twin? The Cue Input only has options for HP & Line 3 & 4 - thanks in advance!

@@jasenstein7591 Great, many thanks for your reply
@@jasenstein7591when I mute my mic there is no audio signal coming through to the audience
Hi. I got an Apollo twin quad. This should work but there is only one cue…Is there any special consideration to keep in mind in that sense?
I mean... you can still route the mix out the headphones so you'll be fine :D

how do you get around the weird feedback loop ? if I mute Channel 1&2 in Console it goes away and listen on the Cues but it Doesn't go to OBS
Main mix goes to OBS, cue mix goes to monitors and headphones. Works like a CHARM!

You must be missing the virtual channel thing. it sounds like your mic is still input #1.
i assume this doesnt work with an apollo twin USB?
I don't see why it wouldn't. give it a shot!
@@illGatesMusic i dont think there are virtual inputs on the usb version
i dont have option MATRIX ...
