For anyone else thinking this is as big a job as it seems here, it isn't. On an AWD the front arms were a nightmare to get off. You do not have to take off any control arms or the axle nut (which are $10 each, single use). Support the vehicle from the rear body mounts so suspension sags. Wheel, top of the sway bar link, and bottom height sensor bolt are all that need to come off. Drop the strut down, tilt the top forward, step on the lug studs, pull the top of the strut out. Opposite way to install. Very easy job.
at the dealership they were not able to change the rear shock absorbers on my LS460L, the excuse was that they needed a special tool. I don't see what tool it can be, any ideas?
Trying to avoid taking the seat out. I’m putting a hole through the top and covering it with a center cap. Trying to put original air ride back in,maybe. previous owner put coil overs on to lower it. Should’ve tried air control unit. Maybe you should’ve tried air control?asc680

Haven’t a clue maybe they miss quoted you to low of a estimate and didn’t want to do the job only thing I can think of
@@richierock1300 i think that they hate to dissasembly the rear seats.
It is very easy you can replace them just jack the car 3 nuts up and one down with out removing the back seat
Could've been the wheel lock🤷🏽♂️
I so appreciate your videos
Hey thank you

Probably about 2
Man your video is just like mine....it lacks the real meat to the install lol... but i understood thanks
You can replace the struts without removing the back seat
Not the same vehicle sorry
How?
I just did it.......don't see a way without tearing something up
lift up the parcel shelf enough to get the nuts. just did it
Confirmed!!! Start from the middle tabs, enough room to remove 14mm Deep Sockets.
All data spent
Pay enough
