Immediately I decided I wanted to own an LS460 I joined all the forums I could find. Because I wanted to know what features were must-haves and which ones to avoid! It didn't take long either, once I started reading too many posts from people who had air-suspension cars that were now around 100,000 miles - and now whose air suspensions were failing. And to their dismay these folks were finding out just how expensive it was to fix the air suspension. OEM air shock replacements, for example, are $1,000 and up. Each. Along with the heavy and complicated AWD feature I knew I (probably) just didn't need, those were the two options that if installed, would make me not consider buying the car. I finally bought a 2017 LS460, in pearl white, in July 2023; needless to say it has neither of those features.
Other than disconnecting the air line, is this procedure the same as to strut removal ? and what are the torque specifications for all of these nuts and bolts.
What is the secret to getting the air line out of the hole in the strut. The video makes everything so easy, but what is the secret to getting the air line out of the strut hole.
A torque wrench was not shown in the video but Arnott instructions do advise to torque all fasteners to manufacturers spec. Since specs can vary between model years it is advised to get specs from a service manual for your specific vehicle.
