Germans want all of Europe for themselves and can never be trusted.

This is the bright side of humanity! Mr Spanos sets an example on how these people can be embodied in Greek society. Xenophobia and racism is the only barrier between people.
As much as I support this I feel like it's the wrong thing to show refugees a career in professional football. Even Paul the most talanted of them will probably never be able to live of it. They should make it clear to them that a career in professional football is not an option.
I dont really think it needs to be a guaranteed career in sports or whatever. I think its more about giving them hope and something to take pride in. And then with that increased confidence they can look for other jobs.

The coach has good intentions, but he is a little naive when he says "They are not different, they are the same like us". We are all human, but obviously men from AFGHANISTAN are going to be very different culturally from a country like Greece, which is a European modern country. In Afghanistan, they grew up with Taliban, Islamist extremists and women dressed in burkas and treated like they are posessions of men. 😐

People from this country suffer a lot by the oppression in their country! And Greece and Europe has to be more tolerant to different countries. I am a greek and I live in London. I see every day women on the street dressed in burkas. That doesn’t mean necessarily that they are extremists. We have to stop using this cultural inappropriate language towards people with different backgrounds. At the end of the day we all get two meters under earth … let’s respect each other .

Umm no. Soccer is the real football aka the king of all sports. What you play in America is pretty much handball. They didn't call the players leabos. It's Lesvos and it's a Greek island. The refugee team is called FC Cosmos and the pro team of the island is Aiolikos.

The coach talked about how he sees his job as not only teaching about football but also about values and behavior. Germany needs to be more multicultural. And Germany should surpass both France and the UK in terms of multiculturalism. Until enough black Germans are around, Germany should have zero say on the EU immigration policy.
