The Kingsmen Louie Louie Stereo Remix : new single version 2024

A great example of a technically horrible recording surpassing the odds and breaking out as, not only a hit, but an Anthem for The Pacific Northwest. A band that met success with instant infighting. (see Wikipedia). Embarrassing to watch now as the band does their little white guy unison dance steps which was almost mandatory for these regional bands. The Kingsmen were from Portland, Oregon and well loved there.
Tech note: An impossible task to remix & remaster this. The tracks barely can be isolated. I added more punch to the bass and more power to the drums (I hope). And tried to harness the vocals with some care. More noticeably, I shortened it by a lot because after years of this song I felt it truly overstays its welcome. You be the judge.
