    Honestly, it’s a little ahead of its time for 1999, they look like very quality computers for the time. I love macs and windows PCs, used both growing up and love both. Chromebook can suck a D, I’ve had a few and eventually I just end up smashing them.

    About your Samsung U750 Alias 2: Was the keypad glitching the result of a broken ribbon cable?

    I have a 2002 Honda Accord automatic, with an automatic chassy, I want to manual swap it, do I need auto to manual transmission mounts or can I use the stock manual mounts. Also do I need a manual intake manifold

    Yeah, i had an original blue and white g3 growing up. Sadly it broke in 2013 and I don't have it anymore. I kind of want to turn one of these into a sleeper gaming PC. Could one of these fit an ATX motherboard if much of the scaffolding was removed?

      I think people have done ATX mods to these but I'm not really sure of the specifics

    These are handy systems to run the original Mac OS X builds (including betas) and of course Mac OS 9.2.x

    I'm surprised the, Power Supply has the Power Out to the Display Port, sorry I don't know the exact name for the port.
    When PC bass machines had already gotten rid of that second port, by thie time this machine would have been manufactured.

      Yeah seems pretty common on 90s Macs for whatever reason, my beige G3 has the same thing. I'm sure it's just a pass through to save you an outlet at the wall

    I picked up a 2009 imac for $30 bucks at a yard sale. What are some upgrades I can do other than ram? Long time subscriber!

    It's hard to tell through video, but those scuffs look like they might come off with a bit of rubbing compound.

    Good to see you're still making videos, I found your channel back in high school (8 years ago)! I'd upgraded a Cube with a Sonnet 1.4 GHz in 2016 or 2017 but something I did killed it, I can't even remember, it's been some years.
    The Sawtooth didn't have dual CPU options, the subsequent generation did (but it looks much the same and CPU cards are likely swappable, different era of Apple).

      @accordinglyryan  2 года назад

      I've been making them since I was 12 lol. I forgot to mention the Cube is gonna need a VRM upgrade before I put this card in, it can't handle it stock. Yeah you're technically correct, the dual 500MHz *was* an option with the mid 2000 update according to Wikipedia, which is still part of the "Graphite" generation (but not a Sawtooth).

    • @TimurTripp2
      @TimurTripp2 2 года назад

      @@accordinglyryan Ah yes the VRM upgrade was something I had to do as well. And the Wikipedia article is correct, the mid 2000 isn't a "Sawtooth" but from the label on the back of yours it is so this CPU isn't one that's original to this Power Mac even in its highest-end configuration (which I had, and it's a single CPU 500 MHz). Makes sense that they would be swappable as Apple wasn't as crazy about limiting upgradability for the sake of it back then.
      I guess we're about the same age then, LOL... Dell0304 right? I feel old.

      @@TimurTripp2 Yeah you're right on a technicality, I was like 2 years old when these things came out so I don't know absolutely everything about them lol. I'm 24 about to be 25 myself, and yep that was me

      @@accordinglyryan Yeah you're less than a year older than me, this was just a rabbit hole that I went down many years ago!

    The “YIkes” G4 is actually the first version of the Powermac G4. Sawtooth came out right after.
