Man, I really like this new Stryker , Love the small size and the receiver seems very sensitive as well ! Will be a breeze to install in these new cars!
That radio is the same body and very similar main board as the anytone at-778uv (uhf/vhf radio). That means that the company can make this radio for many hf bands. All my radios at home and cars are yaesu and icom and I need to admit that the at-778uv is a very well build radio and the tx/tx is great also. I will buy this 'CB' version of this radio for emergencies. I got my ham ticket on 1993 but I always turn on my old cobra 148gtl and say hello to my all time cb friends.
This radio in combo with the Stryker SR-A10 Antenna is awesome, I was talking to KG5IJT all the way to main street on Preston from Celina, which is about 13 miles, we can make out every word, and that's operating on 10 WATTS. Thank you for the radion, antenna, and so many other things.
I have this radio it is a bad ass little radio. Today skip was going crazy I couldn’t reach out to anybody but I listened in and everything was loud and clear. On channel 19 the furthest I talked to another driver was right around 12 miles . This radio picks up a lot the receiver is crazy on it for such a small radio. I run a Stryker A10 antenna with it which is way overkill but for the truck I drive that’s the antenna I get the best swr out of . I got it tuned at 1.0 across the board
I have the CRT 2000H (French Version) of this radio. I am using it for 10m Repeaters. It looks like Stryker left the CTCSS Board out which makes the radio useless for 10m Repeater operations.
Nice video, how do you find out the pot adjustments. I need the ones for the Stryker 447 hpc2. I need to set the dead key but don't want to just start turning pots. THANKS
Thanks for your videos. They have been a big help. I have a question, how do you change the speaker settings so I can hear from the speaker/mic. I would like to hear from the onboard speaker and the speaker/mic both at the same time. Right now I can only hear from the onboard speaker. Thanks. Robert, KO4CER
Hi everyone I have a stryker sr-94hp when I press the power button to change from 4watts to 10 watts but it says error and I can't change it. Is there something I need to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Correct! You must look for a near perfect X on the scope and avoid flat tops or flat lines... flat lines means over modulation and distorted audio... in other words your carrier drop to zero! Is not possible to get more than 100% modulation.
the one thing he forgot to tell you after you make the mod you have to hit the function key in the upper right you will see band you have to reset this to VFO or you will not get all the freqs.
Portabel2010 Hi, where did you order yours? Was looking for a Anytone or crt but they are missing 2 mains and the lot... so the Stryker has my preference..

What was wrong with the 10 watt modulation pot? You came back and it was working. Wouldn't adjust while on camera.

Cool little radio. 📻
Modding a SR 25MC would be neat to watch.
I did the mod you showed easy. but here is my question why does the display not go past 27.405, how do you show 10 meter Freqs.?
Got 3 of this radio and each of them warming out like crazy im burning myself touching it don't understand why???

Why was low power turned down to only 2 Watts?

Can you do a video installing the optional tone board? Great videos !!!!
Does conversion open up CB channels 1-40? Is there an option now to switch CB channels from L, M and H power now?
Only 4 and 10 watt. No 40w on am.
If you Cut L45.....Band Change is P1 ( BND )....you have Power from 4 , 10 and 40 Watt`s ....
Portabel2010 Is this a way to get 40w in am ?
Will you tune my radio?
Or better yet, can i buy one from you already tuned?

Thank you
Please techs turn the volume down some on the radio , so we can hear you talking over the ear splitting tone generator . That would be great !
How hot did it get under testing?
At 17:34 "No Problem What So Ever" you are over modulated !

What size is that screwdriver? Looks like a small torx bit. Thanks
Does the 94 HPC save the settings or do they have to be re-selected everytime it is powered up?
M28443 It saves your settings.
It saves the settings each time, plus if you save a channel in memory, it will save any other parameters that you have set such as nc,hi cut, etc.
the one thing he forgot to tell you after you make the mod you have to hit the function key in the upper right you will see band you have to reset this to VFO or you will not get all the freqs.
I Love my SR-94 .....the first in Germany !!

@@nl1cat they are on ebay for 139 new.
so you cut the white wire, hold down the proper buttons as you've shown, and then it has 40w available in hf?
only with fm not am
Hi,do you know is it same for Retevis RT95.They look exactly from outside.
Do you happen to have the pinout for the rj45 port? Cant find it anywhere and want to connect it to a rugged radios intercom system.
Where are you located?
What is pot w3 in side that radio
can't beat those Anytone radio's,everyone is having them build for them now.Can see the Apollo II on the board
So far they are doing a great job...
I have all the models they have built, never had a problem with any of them.
What is W3 used for?
the only problem is no upper or lower side band.
I couldn't make out what you were saying, that tone drowned out your words.
What a great compact radio too bad it doesn't have SSB.
that is chinese with an american name?
Turn it down. We believe you, you're putting the tone in we do NOT need to hear the tone the whole time.
show all the meters
The meters don't tell the story, the O'Scope does.. and that over-modulation is nasty... The Negative Peak should NOT be flat-lined
show the meters son
off
none of the bull crap
LOOK AT THE SCOPE DISPLAY AGAIN! YOU ARE OVER-MODULATED! SPACING AT ZERO CROSSOVER SHOULD NOT BE WIDE BUT A CONTINUATION.
watt's don't mean crap to all you guys out there
Congratulations on ruining a brand new radio by making it a splatterbox with overmodulated audio.
that thing is so pinched of good lord
pinched off lies
