Hey guys! So this is a long one but I felt that everything needed to be condensed into one video. I hope that this can serve as not only an honest review and opinion of this company, but as a warning for anyone interested in subscribing to this subscription. Thank you guys so much for all your support in the comments it means a lot to me! Love ya💖
In the video- you mentioned the subscription was paid through PayPal. Have you reached out to PayPal regarding what they can do concerning your refunds? Or, not sure of the applicable time frame (which possibly makes this company super shady) to dispute the charge with the credit card you paid with?
Not sure if anyone has mentioned but you can probably dispute the charges with your bank. They're usually pretty good about giving you the money back as long as you have proof you tried to get it from the company first.
Definitely file a complaint with Texas state attorney general if the company operates out of the state. They act pretty fast and don’t mess around. I’m sorry this happened to you.
I live in Texas and second this!!! Taking this action would bring justice for a lot of people who got scammed. There is no telling how much money they have siphoned from people since they started their business!
The French Press cracks me up, because I can just imagine their team brainstorming ideas of what to put in their boxes that are somewhat tied to France. French press, French fries, French toast, French poodle, French tips. If you would’ve stuck around I imagine you getting a French poodle plush toy 😅
I was looking on Instagram and the June/August box of this year has "French bobby pins" from Anthropologie 😒 they are scamming people and ripping them off so much
Something just occurred to me. If they printed shipping labels in March, they knew the weight and dimensions of the box they were eventually going to send. So unless they cancelled those labels and made new ones, they never intended to send a "full" box.
They could just have guesstimated at the weight and then ended up shorting the boxes months later. A lot of online sellers don't scale every single package they ship. IF the shipping company rescales packages they'll be charged the difference but that is a BIG if as not every single package gets measured and scaled.
I wonder if they do this to stop people from cancelling the charges or to postpone people from doing so because they are thinking “well, the shipping label was created…” this is like that planner gate on tik tok where no one received their planners but on a much more expensive scale.
Not necessarily if they print a label and the weight is off, say it ends up being more, the companies business account will be charged for the remainder of the shipping amount.
They’ve resorted to blocking everyone who comments on their one post they haven’t disabled yet. Nothing screams “guilty” like erasing any and all well founded complaints about your business
Honestly this should be a bigger deal than even she’s making it. This is so fucked up! But angry Alex is my favourite, she deserves to be angry, fuck OuiPlease
Theory: they wait till they have all the orders before they order. They then order from China which takes up to 2-3 months to recieve. This probably adds to about 3 months of the time frame. The rest is probably lack of staff to fill boxes etc?
One way you can usually get bad companies' attention is to file a claim with the Attorney General's office in the companies' state. In this case Texas. It has often worked for me.
On the my sub addiction website there was a woman who said this is what she had to do to get her refund after being given the run around. I dont understand why a company exists if u have to go to that level to get your rightfully owed money.
The attorney general's office in Texas does not mess around either. They went after my daughter's father that owed back child support and he lives in Arizona 😳 I really hope she does file with the Attorneys General because they will go after them with that Texas fury 💜 Please do NOT let this go Alex!!!
Lol “The most stern thing I have ever sent in my life”... then she goes and follows it up with a “Gosh Darnit”. One of the most amusing things I’ve heard from the internet in a while
I think it’s a cultural thing. She’s from Kentucky, which is a Bible Belt state, and they’re socialized in….interesting ways in those states. Folks from states like Kentucky always get a massive shock when they come to states like California (I’m from California; live part time in the Bay Area and part time in SoCal). We’re socialized very differently. To her, something like “gosh darnit” is probably borderline aggressive. To me it’s hilariously g-rated and has about as much aggression behind it as a teddy bear. It’s all relative!
Absolutely there is. That's just another "issue" she needs to have them address. I am wondering how many other people are having such crappy service or lack of service File with Texas and the BBB ( if they are even a part of BBB)
@@heathergabbysalomon3614 oh they have many complaints on the BBB I was just checking that myself, it seems like they do respond to some complaints once the BBB is involved but it does not seem that they follow through on what they tell the customers and the BBB as many people do not accept the response from OuiPlease.
What really ticked me off was how in the email she acted like it was your fault for not cancelling. Like WTF??? Is she serious?? That would have made my head explode. Oh honey it's your fault I keep taking your money and not giving you anything in return. Why didn't you stop me from doing that to you? Ewwwww....that's outrageous. Having second hand furious anger here.
If this isn't an isolated experience, this should be taken to court. It's ridiculous that they charged that much, you didn't even get the full product, and the quality wasn't great. And still no refund? This is definitely just a scam
OH it's not isolated. Check out the MSA threads on this. They were stringing people along for YEARS. And they are still taking new subs and advertising like nothing happened.
You need to pursue this with a vengeance. Not only have they given you the product or a refund they have discussed your personal account on a public forum with someone other than you. This is against the privacy act.
I actually lived pretty near to Carrollton (it’s pronounced like Carol-tun) while all this was happening and I can confirm that this wasn’t a Fedex issue; the area did not lockdown that hard during the early bad days of the pandemic. They absolutely just didn’t ship it.
I have a friend who works for FedEx in KY and they were fully staffed throughout the "big sick" and only had delays for like 2-3 weeks. That's bullshit.
Not me scrolling through the comments to see if their “representative” is trying to “reach out” and provide “customer service.” 👀 What a joke trying to claim commenting on a RUclips video that gets thousands of comments and views is a legitimate way to reach a customer about their complaint.
Dispute the charges. When you were talking to your bank representative, you should have just disputed the charges right then and there. I'd give your bank a call and see what they can do ASAP!
Whenever you get a response from them, or anything happens, please update. I'm super interested in following your experience. This is so ridiculous. It's so frustrating that you had to go through this. You're so sweet and I love your videos.
I'd bet anything the reason they had so many delays was because all their stuff wasn't coming for Europe, but from China. China went on heavy lockdowns way before the US and had tons of shipping delays because of it.
Most likely. I'm in the UK but ordered something from China via Indiegogo at the end of October 2019. I expected a bit of a delay due to Christmas but, of course, the pandemic happened. I'm still waiting for the item alongside thousands of others. A huge chunk of them were shipped (allegedly) and are lost somewhere in the chain, unknown to everyone. I expect it to arrive in a few years (I've had that happen with an Amazon marketplace order) when I've long forgotten why I wanted it! Of course Indiegogo don't do refunds. 🙄
With the China thing that could be why there were delays already before the pandemic hit. America was having the Trump Trade Wars with China wasn’t he/America? That must have effected shipping of items from China? No?
So just for fun I decided to go to their Instagram and I literally watched them delete comments! I have several screenshots now of posts having comments one minute and none the next. I'm sure they're just trying to do damage control at this point but also maybe if they actually had any sort of reputable business practices they wouldn't have to... But thank you so much for bringing all of this to light, and sorry you had to go through this.
My thoughts as a sales and marketing professional: my jaw hit the ground when- they accused you of deleting their supposed reply.... Commenting on RUclips videos is not the way to communicate with customers anyway. -when they but the onus on you to not be charged when they have not fulfilled their obligation of shipping -when they then made it sound like they were doing you a favor by cancelling your service.
Legally. Customers have an obligation to minimize their losses. Since she knew that she didn’t get what she paid for the first two times, a judge might see the third, and then fourth, charges as on her since she chose to keep the subscription going. Morally a business should do it themselves, but legally, customers do have some responsibility to mitigate. I’m dealing right now with a car wash destroying the paint on my new BMW, and we had to send hours getting the stuff off to try to prevent the corrosive stuff from sinking in and causing more damage. We’re still dealing with this issue, but it’s the same thing. You’re on the hook as a customer to minimize the damages, as we are.
Especially since RUclips as a platform filters through comments all the time. Just because you can’t find your comment right away doesn’t mean it was deleted by the poster. It 100% could’ve been marked as spam
@@princessadrigirl6774 also, other people report comments they don't like just to be petty. So even if it was removed, you have no way of knowing WHO removed it
La fitness did as well. I didn’t have to do anything. If the gym was closed, you weren’t charged. They also sent emails letting me know they will start charging me again on date when they were allowed to open and told me my options. This oui please company is ridiculous
Cinemark movie club did too, but kept accounts active. And they just now started taking payments again even though they allowed you to still use their discounts when theatres opened.
“Don’t let a company make you feel bad when they fail you as a business!” Couldn’t be said better, I would have trusted that they would give me the refund as well. Also what’s up with never addressing the missing items from your first box? You are still nicer than I would be at this point, maybe that’s just the face for the camera but they did you completely wrong and never even apologized. I hope everyone sees this video and no more people get scammed.
They decided to cancel your account because you are an honest reviewer and you will and have called them out. The less press about how awful they are the better for them. Any future videos coming from your channel is simply highlighting their awful business practice. It's such a frustrating and Needless situation.
I live in Carrollton - Literally- ordered this box in like mid spring of 2020 and never got anything. Amex did refund the cost in full but I never got any explanation or information from the company.
Their shipping was atrocious even before the pandemic, so they cannot use that as an excuse. I only ever order 2 boxes and both had missing items. I did enjoy the quality of the products I received, especially a beautiful leather clutch, but none of it was worth the hassle of dealing with their mediocre customer service.
Using the pandemic as a reason for delays is such a copout. Alexandria isn’t wrong about it not being too much of a thing for other subscription boxes.
@@iheartbusterk82 the pandemic was definitely just a convenient excuse. even if it was the pandemic to give them the benefit of the doubt (sure it may had something but i doubt it’s all that) they dealt with it so badly
I want to know what kind of reputable company creates a shipping label in March yet doesn't actually ship the box until July? I've held a box overnight but holding the label for five months before shipping is ridiculous.
@@NotMykl i ordered some reusable silicone food bags last year. They charged pay pal and made a label. A month later I had not received the items and I tried getting a refund. They emailed me with an "pandemic shipping bad" excuse and reasurances that they were shipping the items in the next week, gave me the runaround for long a while and then they disappeared, no more emails or texts from them. I got scammed out of 55 bucks and had no recourse, PayPal couldn't do anything by then.
their idea of French products (like the French press and the bracelet) is like the scene in Better Off Dead (1985) when the mom cooks a "French" meal for the French exchange student and it's French breach, French dressing, and Perrier.
I live about 30 minutes from Carrollton tx. I'm tempted to drive by to see what the building looks like. However, they don't seam to have an address on the website.
They have an address if you look up their company listing but it's not in Carrollton. The 2014 address they listed to is in Carrollton but the most recent one is in Dallas. It's not unheard of for businesses to have two addresses but it's strange how they did it (so my guess is the Dallas address is just a shipping location whereas the Carollton address is where they are still located). What's WILD to me is they actually tried to publicly list the company to raise money in 2014. The success of the company in 2015 followed by a sharp decline makes me think the crowd funding failed and they're mostly staying afloat through scamming people at this point.
I honestly think they owe you a refund/credit for every box you bought. This is absolutely ridiculous!! They need shut done immediately!! I hope this video reaches anyone contemplating this subscription box!! 100% scammers and basically fraud!! The “sick” going on was just an excuse to use.
Good. You did do well to hold them accountable. Speak out to the BBB. Ask if they have tax ID information notify the IRS of fraudulent business practice and the FBI will investigate criminal activity but you HAVE to report it. Shake them down Alex.
"Gosh darn it I was livid" that made me LOL. This is why I watch your videos even though I don't get any subscriptions anymore. I just so enjoy your personality
That's a typical response from con artists & scammers. They turn it around to make you feel like you're at fault somehow. Plus, the longer they can string people along, the more chance people will give up and go away without their money.
This needed to be said. You have a responsibility to your viewers and as a fellow business owner to represent your experience and opinions honestly. Where they as a company have truly failed, it's important that entities such as yourself remain true to the public, so that this treatment and series of blatant horse-pucky doesn't continue.
Again I'm way too emotional for something that didn't happen to me however, I'm crying for you! Your patience and kindness towards this situation is admirable. I aspire to be as calm and diplomatic as you. Sending endless well wishes xo
It's one thing to be disorganized, but this is a scam. Also they shouldn't have discussed your situation with anyone without permission It's unprofessional and completely uncalled for.
@@VK-uh5jz depending on the information and laws in the area it probably isn't illegal, just highly unethical. Other than information like addresses, bank account numbers, medical, legal, etc... there are few laws protecting you. However, most businesses do their best to protect your information because it's in their best interest both in a public relations respect and a customer retention respect.
I ALWAYS order things with my credit card. If I don't get what I ordered or a response from the company in about a month or two months, I dispute the charge and my card company, so far, has always gotten my money back.
28:45 !!! yes MA'AM i'm so glad you said this, i'm not one to throw the word "gaslight" around lightly but that seems to be exactly what they're doing to their consumers. Appreciate you for putting your review about like this, the honesty is refreshing and I'm also proud of you (i know that's weird) for having the strength to go up against a company that seems to be doing everything in it's power to quell negative reviews and sweep their shady practices under the rug. Good on you for that.
My dear Alexandria, I am so sorry for all you went through with this company. That is horrible. Thank you for the warning. I can’t believe how much you were charged. I hope you get it all straightened out. Bless your heart. You are one of my RUclips favorites. Hugs!
Oui, this is one of the kindest, sweetest humans on the planet!! She gave you the benefit of the doubt for soo long...the princess has turned into a WARRIOR!! Do the right thing. Refund her full amount paid to date and cut your losses. You've messed with the wrong person!!
GREAT VIDEO. So pleased to see a stern honest experience put out. Not only will your experience possibly save others from this company but also warn us to be vigilant for other companies running similar SCAMS
Girl. I am livid for you. I looked at their site after your first vid and most of it looks like crap not worth the $150....nevermind the crap you went through as a customer. Brutal.
Thank you for calling these companies out! You said it perfectly when you spoke about your platform and being able to hold these companies accountable. One of the things that I feel most of your subscribers love about you is that you speak your truth and don't sugar coat that these are services rendered for money. Thank you Alexandria! You are awesome!
I actually ordered something from France in April 2020 off Etsy... And got it in less than 6 weeks. And was able to watch it through the quarantine and customs.
I'm so annoyed with this "company" and I've had no interaction with them personally. You seem like such a genuine person and for them to have put you through this mess... I feel like you're the type who dislikes causing tension and making other people feel "bad". But in this case, you did exactly the right thing and they should be so grateful you're as professional and polite as you are. I'd have lost my s**t immediately. Haha. PLEASE give us an update in the comments ASAP! Please!
*At this point I would want a refund for all 4 boxes since the first 2 was full of crap. They need to get shut down because that's not ok to be stealing from customers especially through these hard times. Shame on them!*
I watched and kept thinking the absolute worst: that they have continued to charge you for nonexistant boxes. The fact that they failed to put the refund through is extremely disturbing -- especially as they initiated it.
You know you dun goofed when one of the nicest people to ever exist doesn't even want to give you any more chances. Watching ads so you recoup your losses! XD ETA: grammar because I suck
Right?!!! This is absolutely not okay that this company did all this mess. And the fact that they do this to others all the time too, not okay….. time to go!!!
I always wondered what happened when you did your video on that box. It's a very good thing you do have a platform like you do. This company needs to have a class action against them with all the people who have had a bad experience which seems like everyone. Yeah that needs to happen
The transition with French music and pictures cracks me up. Sorry this happened to you, but I’ve never clicked a video so fast. I’m all about that tea! 😂☕️
I had been curious about when we would get an update!!! I know you try SO HARD to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, to be polite and understanding, but I am so glad you are being honest
Thank GOD you made this video. I almost made a huge mistake. I saw them on IG and thought I'd sign up for myself and my mom. I could not agree with you more about the shipping situation the way they handled it was appalling AND they didn't even refund your money 🤦♀️ That's theft by deception. If I did this to a friend or Co worker I would go to jail for it, have a criminal RECORD and have restitution payments. Why do companies like this get away with it? They need to be held accountable for their actions. Who knows how many other people have been robbed by them. Your awesome for telling the entire truth regardless because this is a sh** show!
1000 percent it’s not like a $10 box that’s a ton of money like she said she can get 3 fab for fun’s for that price and her amazing things were does this company get off doing this
Oui Please seems like they are a scam for sure! I hope they do the right thing and issue you the money you are due. Also, they clearly do not understand their responsibilities as a retailer nor the laws they are required to follow as a business. I'm glad you made this video!
Alex - You handled yourself in a very adult manner. If it had been me I would have been throwing things and crying on camera because I take things very personally. Remember, never give up, never surrender!
Girl, you are way more chill than me , I know I would have snapped off after the first month.... and I knew they would be shady about the refund .... hopefully you'll get your money back soon ....
I understand the frustration! I've had businesses scam me then block me on social media and delete all my poor reviews for being "defamatory" when i literally just described the problem. It's ridiculous.
Same. Super annoying. I started contacting people leaving messages on their page and letting them know they are deleting any bad comments and that the product sucked! They finally made it so I couldn't even go to their page. Not sure how.
I loved seeing this kind of video from you! It would be great to see other types of investigative videos about the subscription box industry, maybe around the curation process, how price points vs. value are determined, etc.
Take that anger they are causing you and take it to a court or something, make sure you get a legal rep to get this issue solved from this crappy ‘subscription service’ as they call themselves 😡 it makes me so mad that they are getting away with this, much love to you ❤️
Shipping delays is one thing but the LIES! If they don’t know how to run a business they should just stop beating that dead horse and give up (after refunding their customers ofc).
When you said the box ships from Carrollton, TX all of the rest of this stuff makes sense. As someone who lives in DFW, sketchy business practices are p popular here. This sort of ridiculousness is really common with any sort of business you interact with here.
I have been waiting for this video! They sound like a scam all the way around! I am sorry this happened to you, but I’m so glad you can share with us so none of us has to go through it.
Oh my goodness! How frustrating! It’s so hard to be nice and stay calm with companies like that. It sounds like you received junk from someone’s junk drawer that nobody wanted. Thanks for the warning and I’m so sorry for you! I hope you get justice.
honestly, she needs to report all of this with links. They didn't refund her and they didn't ship. The charges are over a year old. My guess is there is an entire class of victims out there.
Ugh, this is Soo jacked up! 😣 Like, ppl work HARD for their $$ these days and to have a "company" rip them off, Imply, Deny, and lie is DISGUSTING 🤮 I'm sorry u had to go through so much BS girl! Thank you though, u have given the world a heads up on this shitty "company" and potentially others as well! Karma though, KARMA is a BITCH! 👍🏽
Even my husband wanted to watch this lol he's very invested so far. That sucks though!! Also their first email to you was pretty rude. Instead of trying to fix the issue they just suspended your account??
Honestly, as rude and terrible as it was that they suspended her account "for her", it probably was a good thing they did. Alexandria tends to give the benefit of the doubt for way longer than she should, and she also gets busy with other things and loses track of sub boxes, if they hadn't suspended it they would have taken another payment (and possibly another after that given the mix up with the spam folder). They likely suspended it to prevent giving her more ammo agains them. That email from them was so unprofessional and rude though. But given the rest of their rubbish business practices it's not entirely surprising.
I had this subscription in 2016/2017 and the exact same thing happened in that they charged me for my second box before I ever received my first, so the pandemic is 100% an excuse. I emailed them directly to cancel the subscription two days after the charge for the second box and I’m so glad! Because it was so long ago, I don’t remember how many items were in the boxes, but I certainly remember being extremely disappointed with the products I received. One item was a “bracelet” that is basically a flat elastic hair tie with fake crystals glued to it 🙄. At one point I had considered reporting the charges to my credit card company because I’m pretty sure if you don’t receive the item you pay for within a certain period of time you can dispute the charge. Crossing my fingers that you’ll get your money back soon!
I've come here from Amanda/Swell Entertainement's video. She paid for like 2 or 3 boxes, never received anything and was told "no refund lol" even if she never received anything ever. Thanks for speaking out!
I don't have social media, but I encourage everyone who does and can share Alexandra's video/link to do so. Things like this should absolutely go viral so not only this business is held accountable, but other businesses that even entertain the idea of scamming people, in the very least, think twice about it. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this Alexandria, but I'm super proud of you for taking a stand and warning other people. Edited: I posted this in Reddit for the r/BeautyBoxes sub. 270K members should be a good start, and Oui Please can't delete those msgs.
Yeah.. clearly "oui please" stands for "yes please I'd like my money, or is a contraction of "will ya please SEND ME MY REFUND." *smh* the first video you made about these guys wreaked of them being a total scam, & the patience and politeness you showed them was.. herculean. And this is why the public needs people like you to make reviews. 💙 Thank you for always being honest and humble, and watching out for people so they don't go through the same scams, Alexandria. 💙💙💙 Here's to you getting your money back PRONTO! 💕💕

I was thinking the same thing. Even if it's just her, can she take them to court for her own loss? Idk, but this is wrong
Plus their lying, snarky response to somebody that they ended up deleting
OH it's not isolated. Check out the MSA threads on this. They were stringing people along for YEARS. And they are still taking new subs and advertising like nothing happened.
Yes you should take this to court.. be petty.. they’ll lose for sure they did steal from you judge judy would love this
I just picture their warehouse being in some McMansion basement with a bunch of wholesale aliexpress items they just randomly throw in packages XD
You need to pursue this with a vengeance. Not only have they given you the product or a refund they have discussed your personal account on a public forum with someone other than you. This is against the privacy act.
Yes thank you! I was stunned by this
I actually lived pretty near to Carrollton (it’s pronounced like Carol-tun) while all this was happening and I can confirm that this wasn’t a Fedex issue; the area did not lockdown that hard during the early bad days of the pandemic. They absolutely just didn’t ship it.
SAME! Howdy neighbor
I’m down the street for there.
Same
Same
Literally the reason why I am here 😆
It's probably killing them that they can't delete her videos or our comments
Lol 😂 Same.
Dispute the charges. When you were talking to your bank representative, you should have just disputed the charges right then and there. I'd give your bank a call and see what they can do ASAP!
Shipping labels aren't created until they know the weight and dimensions of the box. So they never intended to send full boxes
🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
You know what? That's awesome thinking because it's so true 😳 They were lying from the jump
💯 it’s so sad a company would do this
Whenever you get a response from them, or anything happens, please update.
This right here...... 100%
With the China thing that could be why there were delays already before the pandemic hit. America was having the Trump Trade Wars with China wasn’t he/America? That must have effected shipping of items from China? No?
Exactly! The products even say "Made In China" on them!!!
That's what I was thinking
So just for fun I decided to go to their Instagram and I literally watched them delete comments! I have several screenshots now of posts having comments one minute and none the next. I'm sure they're just trying to do damage control at this point but also maybe if they actually had any sort of reputable business practices they wouldn't have to...
But thank you so much for bringing all of this to light, and sorry you had to go through this.
Also seems like they breached your privacy by disclosing your purchase history and details to someone in comments on social media!
Thats exactly what i was thinking... 😶 What in the world... 😕
I love the little “French” interlude it’s such shade and pretty cute
So even if it was removed, you have no way of knowing WHO removed it
So glad you brought attention to this company for others. Sounds like there needs to be a lawsuit in order.
The fact that Planet fitness stopped payments when they shut all the gyms closed last year but this company didn’t is so insane to me.
Wow you were lucky to get your money back I think that’s what this company is banking on! That’s so sad the card companies will take care of it 😳
Hey local friend! I live in Celina!
Oh howdy neighbor. So crazy to think that there are Alexandria fans so local to me!
@@xangelsxorxnot yay for local friends!
This company was in trouble for not sending stuff in a timely manner in 2015 so they have no business trying to claim pandemic.
The success of the company in 2015 followed by a sharp decline makes me think the crowd funding failed and they're mostly staying afloat through scamming people at this point.
tbh at this point i would report them for fraud to the FTC cause DAMN
I honestly think they owe you a refund/credit for every box you bought. This is absolutely ridiculous!! They need shut done immediately!! I hope this video reaches anyone contemplating this subscription box!! 100% scammers and basically fraud!! The “sick” going on was just an excuse to use.
Good. You did do well to hold them accountable. Speak out to the BBB. Ask if they have tax ID information notify the IRS of fraudulent business practice and the FBI will investigate criminal activity but you HAVE to report it. Shake them down Alex.
Yes. Please get their Tax ID and report them.
The BBB is worthless. As for the tax ID you can look that up on the Texas Secretary of State website.
They already have an F rating on the BBB lol
"Gosh darn it I was livid" that made me LOL. This is why I watch your videos even though I don't get any subscriptions anymore. I just so enjoy your personality
What a catty f'd up response every single time. I couldn't imagine the painful tension headache from all this!
I'm like a minute in and this is already the angriest I've ever seen you (justifiably so)
Yeah thats probably true haha
Yeah lol but if it was me, I'd be seeing red
Again I'm way too emotional for something that didn't happen to me however, I'm crying for you! Your patience and kindness towards this situation is admirable. I aspire to be as calm and diplomatic as you. Sending endless well wishes xo
It's one thing to be disorganized, but this is a scam. Also they shouldn't have discussed your situation with anyone without permission It's unprofessional and completely uncalled for.
Ya that was shockingly unprofessional and I'm assuming illegal?
@@VK-uh5jz depending on the information and laws in the area it probably isn't illegal, just highly unethical. Other than information like addresses, bank account numbers, medical, legal, etc... there are few laws protecting you. However, most businesses do their best to protect your information because it's in their best interest both in a public relations respect and a customer retention respect.
Keep up the pressure. Even with their state’s AG. Get them.
Oh, I remember seeing that string bracelet. It looks like something we made at summer camp. $70...please!
If it's $70 the beads and charm better be 24K solid gold.
that same bracelet is on WISH for 3.00...what a shitshow of a company.
Yes 💯 my daughter makes them. Even if the charm was 24k gold it would not be $70
My dear Alexandria, I am so sorry for all you went through with this company.
I love these long dramatic stories like this one and your couch story.
Brutal.
You should get a full refund for everything that you paid. Even for the 1 1/2 boxes that you did get.
I was looking for this comment. I think Alexandra should be refunded all the money she has spent!
I agree this is so sick that company like this just get away with it. They are now blocking everyone on social media
I really appreciate your honesty. It's the reason you're the only channel that does unboxings that I follow anymore.
Signing an email with "regards" is truly a savage move 😂 I'm proud of you!
Regards is bad????? I always sign Regards. Oh noooo.
Savage? I sign all my business e-mails and letters with 'Regards'.
Yes yes yes
I sign with, “Kind Regards, “
I wish she would have used "Worst Regards"😂
Please!
My husband: what are you listening to?
Me: just this girl I watch
Husband: sounds like she’s got receipts
Me: hell yeah she does
Lol yes she does!
My kids know to never touch my receipts and I am the only one cleared to throw them away 😂😐
Thank you for reviewing them! Companies need to be held responsible, regardless of their size
You know you dun goofed when one of the nicest people to ever exist doesn't even want to give you any more chances. Watching ads so you recoup your losses! XD
ETA: grammar because I suck
Right?!!! This is absolutely not okay that this company did all this mess. And the fact that they do this to others all the time too, not okay….. time to go!!!
Seriously. Alex doesn't shy away from criticism, but she has SO much patience. Understandably so here, tho.
Right!? I've seen her straight up smile and give horrible boxes the benefit of the doubt. These people really messed up.
Regards!
Absolutely
I always wondered what happened when you did your video on that box. It's a very good thing you do have a platform like you do. This company needs to have a class action against them with all the people who have had a bad experience which seems like everyone. Yeah that needs to happen
The transition with French music and pictures cracks me up. Sorry this happened to you, but I’ve never clicked a video so fast. I’m all about that tea! 😂☕️
They’ve blocked all comments on Instagram. They are not happy. But they need to be better. 🤬😡
Ok I know it's going to be good. When she is mad and she has her notes.
And bc its Alexandria, we know its 100% genuine and deserved ire
@@chelsey8737 So true.
I had been curious about when we would get an update!!! I know you try SO HARD to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, to be polite and understanding, but I am so glad you are being honest
My mom watched me make popcorn wondering what the hell I was doing... I just smiled because I’m here for the tea!!
You were nothing but honest in this video. People need to know what they’re paying $150 for !
By Grabthar's hammer, by the sons of Warvan, you shall be avenged.
@@wendynearhoff3120 Maybe they blocked your IP address? Some businesses are just so so shady!!
Yep I just had that issue for Father’s Day I don’t understand why companies are like that.
I loved seeing this kind of video from you! It would be great to see other types of investigative videos about the subscription box industry, maybe around the curation process, how price points vs. value are determined, etc.
Never clicked so fast in my life.
Same! I have been waiting for this tea time.
You can’t even read comments for their business because they blocked all comments!!! Thank you for this video & saving us $$
This company is such a scam, omg. I love how furious you get! ♥ You're completely correct!!!
Is it weird how much I am loving pissed off Alex!!! 🙃
I have been waiting for this video! They sound like a scam all the way around! I am sorry this happened to you, but I’m so glad you can share with us so none of us has to go through it.
Love that not once did they say anything about your missing half box or refunding you for half of that box?
Yeah, I noticed they very carefully didn't even acknowledge any mention of the missing half of the first box.
Oh my goodness! How frustrating! It’s so hard to be nice and stay calm with companies like that. It sounds like you received junk from someone’s junk drawer that nobody wanted. Thanks for the warning and I’m so sorry for you! I hope you get justice.
They should be charged for theft and mail fraud. Period.
honestly, she needs to report all of this with links.
Yes yes yes
Things like this make my blood boil😅 So sorry you’re having to deal with this!
So glad you have released this today! All the Instagram stories teasers have been driving me crazy! So, intrigued as to what has been going on.
So glad you shared your experience. I’m sure it will help save people from losing money to this company. Thank you!
I was thisclose to subscribing to them when you uploaded the first box saga. THANK YOU for saving me from so much hassle!
I've come here from Amanda/Swell Entertainement's video. She paid for like 2 or 3 boxes, never received anything and was told "no refund lol" even if she never received anything ever. Thanks for speaking out!
Wow, those emails they sent you were so passive aggressive. Thanks for sharing the saga with us, it was wild! “Regards”! 😂💜
I dropped everything to watch this 👀
Yeah.. clearly "oui please" stands for "yes please I'd like my money, or is a contraction of "will ya please SEND ME MY REFUND." *smh* the first video you made about these guys wreaked of them being a total scam, & the patience and politeness you showed them was.. herculean. And this is why the public needs people like you to make reviews. 💙 Thank you for always being honest and humble, and watching out for people so they don't go through the same scams, Alexandria. 💙💙💙 Here's to you getting your money back PRONTO! 💕💕
Oh I’d get a refund by having the bank contact the company and contact the BBB. That’s a nasty mess of a company. 🤥🤫🤭 thanks for the heads up!
Ugh I feel the frustration! I think they are jerking you around in hopes you either forget or just give up, don’t give up!!!
