Compare to Parapa the rapper 1 and 2, Um Jammer Lammy is... a choice. With Parapa it make sense for you to just mashed the button and hope for the best, since it's a rap battle, But with jammy it feels like that meme of a girl playing a merry Christmas with a violin to her family (off key), and the mom is diying of laughter. We include the Censored version and uncensored version of the game, apparently 'Hell' is too much for the western audiences. They changed into a 'stranded in some island' stage, either way that stage sucks so hard, worse stage. With Parapa I can still manage to just go with the flow of the game and the rhythm, with Jammy i felt like I was doing some kind of test or something. Playing this game feels like a chore, which is sad because I like the aesthetic of the game. The absurdity of the game is nice (Like Parapa) but the gameplay of it? Heck no. Most of the time playing Jammy, i was just sitting there 'what the fuck is this shit'. Overall this game is still okay, but it's so sad that the bonus stages with parapa in this game is more fun than the main story stages.
If you wanna go there the east was known for censoring game also Jak and Dexter 2 was censored for violence that was even considered tamed for the American buyers in fact Japan said they were in shock that Jak and Dexter took a darker tone Mortal Kombat is out right ban from Japan and the GTA series is heavily censored.
This is honestly the best PS1 game of all time in my opinion. It improves on Parappa 1 in every way with better timing, kickass music, better graphics, a MULTIPLAYER MODE. Most content full game in the series, and i love it for that. It’s a shame it’s lesser well known among the general public compared to the original Parappa

Strangest game plot ever. Although in the PaRappa universe the plot is supposed to be silly, so I find it okay. This game looks fun though, so I would play this if I had the chance.
