The actual art in this song. It's basically a musical near-death experience. Not just because they literally go to Hell in the story context, either! The whole vibe is perfectly bizarre, feels like nothing else, an alien and intrusive song that at first hits you in the face with chaos and disharmony... but creeps slowly, insidiously into your head, until you begin to understand what makes it perfect. Just like death, when it comes for each and every one of us. At first, discord and negative emotions. Then, when you finally give in, the truth.

I mean, I know the developer's weren't going for symbolize but rather a fun rhythm game with zany characters, but there's a giant caterpillar nurse who spit's purple goop at people, and insane chipmunk who takes joy in chopping down foresty. I want someone to come up with an interpretation for them (even if it's a joke one)!

I think this was my least favorite song as a kid but it might largely be because I had to hear it eight million times. And maybe the singer, who isn't THAT bad but man, the rest of the music kind of outshines her.
+cyber952 What makes me like it a lot more is knowing the vocals were intentionally off key. She was made to be sort of like Yoko Ono, and we all know how... "interesting"... her voice is.
It sounded a lot worse in-game. Has a very late 90s Japanese album feel to it. The backup singers really elevate it.
