No. Trans women should instead be on hormone therapy for more than 2 or 3 years before competing against biological females. @@vinny_verticallychallenged9671 Depends on context. But in this context no. The fact is that our society has not made an acceptable space for transgendered people. Instead everyone tries to squeeze them into spaces that are not conducive or feasible. Cis women usually take the brunt when it comes to athletics and having to compete against a MTF who has fully developed into adulthood with male anatomy (power/speed). It's oppressive toward cis women that, yet again, they don't have any space for themselves.Cis men don't have to worry about a FTM competing against them or winning all the trophies because most FTMs do not have the same strength or speed to out run them, where as MTF can out power and out run cis women nearly every time. People are not actually being considerate and inclusive of MTF people by squeezing them into cis women's spaces without giving the strength/power differences much thought. That is still using a traditional two-gendered model. It doesn't create space for other genders in society and is inconsiderate of both cis women and MTFs. It also perpetuates the inequality that cis women have faced for thousands of years. It's time for all women to take charge and everyone needs to rethink their idea of inclusion.

Let transgender compete with their own transgender team. And stop crushing the dream of biological woman. Belief does not change biology--respect FACTS!
@clear plastic well, feelings is not an authentic and reliable evidence in science. Fact should always preveal. I am a woman who likes woman. My sexuality does not change the fact I am a girl. I learned to accept it and now I am a femme lesbian.
@clear plastic Sexuality and Gender are two different thing. Sexuality is intangible, you cant see it but you can feel it, like inspiration, love, etc. While gender is tangible, you can see, it is in your biology, the one underneath your pants. Falling in love with a woman does not mean you have to be male gender. Again, gender and sexuality are not the same. I am a woman who is attracted to feminine woman and I am also feminine, I love beautiful dresses, and elegant gesture. Again, I dont need to be a man or masculine to fall in love with feminine woman. Again, Gender is fixed upon birth, it is in your biology, tatooed in your DNA. If you are man, you can act feminine, you dont need to undergo so much pain, like medicial surgery etc to act feminine. You dont need to be a girl to be feminine. Femininity is not exclusive for girls and vice versa. Masculine woman and feminine man are valid. As to sexuality, it does not hold any physical rule because in the first place our sexuality is govern by our emotion and desire. No one can change gender at genetic chromosomal level. Man will always be a man and will always have two chromosones in their DNA while woman has only one.
@clear plastic it’s not about how anyone feels about this situation. You can’t argue for these girls to have to run again people who have a natural advantage. It would be ok if males weren’t winning most of the time and hurting females who did not choose to go against them. That’s not the case tho

I am having a super hard time finding Transmen (female identifying as male) articles or videos beating and making new records in Men’s sport. Like literally 95% or all articles and videos is mainly transwomen beating women’s divisions.
That's literally explained in the video, men just have an unfair advantage against women, so a man becoming a female will always break the records of female competitions and whatnot; meanwhile females who become males don't break any record for the same exact reason: men are biologically "stronger" in all factors than women, and so there are no articles about biological women who compete with men because they've almost never won anything. Biological men should compete with biologcial men, and biological women should compete with biological women, end of question
That’s because trans men don’t have an unfair advantage when they compete with biological men. If anything, they are at a disadvantage because biological males tend to be stronger.
That is because a transgender male is not a threat to a biological male who identifies as a male in sports because they are genetically female and therefore not a threat to male sports.
I have no problem with a person being trans but I definitely have a problem with them being in a sport that they know they're going to dominate regardless if it's running or MMA because of their physical biological advantages, no amount of estrogen will ever be able to take away the raw strength and power a male possesses genetically so instead of pushing for them to be in female sports they should just be pushing to have their own category in sports; just like women have their own category and males have their own category they should have their own transgender category where they're competing and going against their own Point. Blank. Period.

I think allowing biological females to compete in a male league offers no distinct advantage but when the other way around with hundreds of thousands of scholarship dollars available to top athletes it can unfairly take opportunities away from others.
The misgendering and skewing of facts is frustrating. I personally think that a separate competition should be available for trans women so this kind of stuff doesn’t happen. However that doesn’t excuse leaving out facts to make your argument seem more dire. In high level sports competition cis women beat trans women all the time. But these videos don’t want to include that because it doesn’t support what they are trying to push. Blaming trans women for these problems is very extreme. Gender is a social construct, and people can change that. You know what people can't change? Their sex. But that doesn't make them any less of the gender they identify as.
that's really not how being trans works bud alot of therapists are involved it takes more than just a day obviously most trans people take years and years of treatment
They can’t though. Nobody will support that cause of transphobia and money, and there are very few trans people(less than one percent of people are trans). Also, many trans people don’t want to be separated from possible friends, and the majority of people don’t really care if trans women are competing in school sports. These people just like to act like they’re the victims whenever possible.
She said they are "males identifying as women". Which is exactly what they are. Even by feminist standards that is acceptable terminology. Feminists say their is biological sex and gender and they are different things. Why should biological males be allowed to compete in female only sports leagues just based on identification alone? That clearly gives them an unfair advantage, due to the testosterone and all of the advantages it gives.
Why are you automatically called “phobic” as in FEAR. If you don’t agree with the transgender community. Why can’t you just flat out not like or support their way of life
Transphobia is both a fear of, and an unnatural aversion to, transgender individuals. And not liking or supporting trans people supports those who discriminate against them unfairly.
It is shocking to see how many excuses people make to explain why this should be allowed. Its scientifically proven. Leave your emotions behind and use your brains
@Aidan Donohue No amount of transhormone therapy will counter act the growth spurt you recieve during puberty. And if this is true why aren't transmen beating male athletes? They can't because biology can't be duplicated not even with testosterone injections. There are too many obstacles to go through to make any sport a fair advantage for a person who chooses to change thier gender
This is sad and all boo hoo but why tf does she keep referring to trans women as men? That’s just transphobic and the transphobia is this comment section is even worse. Also i dont get why people are just now getting mad bc they "have an advantage". Like bruh tall people have an advantage in basketball sports are literally about having advantages and working hard. Transgender women are valid and are real women! Transgender men are valid and are real men! At this point it feels like cis gender people hate us for just existing...
That’s what so many people don’t get, if you want a fair race get rid of all people with advantages including height, strength, better vision, bigger lung capacity etc, all these people that have advantages aren’t being told that they can’t compete because of those things, and yet people still tell transgender people that they can’t compete because they supposedly have an advantage, the problem is is that people pick and choose what they think is acceptable and not in order to be transphobic, and they need to learn that sports isn’t fair there’s always going to be people that have an advantage, and if your gonna ban some of them then ban all of them or none, as simple as that :)
Im trans-aged 🌈🏄I'm biologically 35 years old but I've always felt like a five year old; so I want to be refered to as a five year old. Very excited about starting kindergarten next year, Billy Madison style. Don't discriminate me because of my age.
You're arguement doesnt actually hold up. As a person under the trans umbrella I am fully in my lane and have actually done research. Dispite both age and gender being a social construct age is much more important than gender, therefore it shouldn't be tampered with, BUT since gender is a social construct that has no true value besides companys making gendered products to make more money, therefore gender is free to be tampered with since it has no true social value.
I think the best way of fixing this could be to make a separate category or multiple. Like having a transgender woman sports category, and then an all women.
@Aidan Donohue Those are not the concern. When females can’t get scholarships or the trans women records are far beyond regular female records that they can’t attain, that is the problem.
Basically, to make a statistical baseline of what trans women can do in sports, they should compete against each other to see if they are in the ballpark of men’s leagues or women’s leagues. Then, everyone can have a better understanding of what is fair.
As far as the person setting world records, these were not WOMEN’S records but setting TRANS records. Honestly, I think this person’s performance was on the LOW side . As more trans women compete, I’m sure these records will be broken. It is doubtful though that regular females will be breaking the records. This is my point. We need data to see what trans women’s capabilities actually are before we start comparing trans women to males or females.
@@andrewg2033 its seriously tiring having people like you calling everyone transphobic when they disagree with you, Jadyyn above made VERY reasonable points about the need for data and overall the points made are accurate. A biological female may be able to beat a biological male but the strongest male will always be ahead of the strongest female. Always. It has to be looked at in scale: Serena williams is by far the best female tennis player ever, but she would rank approx (as an estimate based on her own admissions and actual played games against male players) the top 500 in the mens rankings. thats a gaping chasm of difference so even an "average" (say rank 350) tennis player could dominate the womens tennis scene as a trans female athlete. The best argument for your side would be if you could provide evidence of a trans male athlete outperforming TOP male athletes, but i havent found anyone that fits that criteria. And so the circle continues... Yes transitioning does change an individuals physiology somewhat, however there are many factore completely unnafected by things like HRT, and there is also strong evidence in very recent (early 2020) research showing how if op level athletes (the main demographic this issue arises in) transition but keep training, they are able to regain lost muscle mass bone density and return to a statistigally insignificant level of difference to their pre transitioning self. Anothe issue here is that initially the NCAA didnt require anything other then self identification for trans women to compete within the womens category, similiar issues are present across the worl of sports associations but they are slowly catching up as this "issue" becomes more common place. And again i have no doubt that the video is ideologically driven but i am also well aware that the overall science behind trans women in sports does ultimately lead to a large disadvantage to biological women at the top level of performance within its respective field. So rude and horrible it may be but the issue is genuine overall, and just personally thats where my interest lies

I’ve noticed that most videos and articles about Transathletes predominantly talk about Transwomen (male identifying as females) and how they blow out the women’s team.
@@BushBabineaux i know for a fact that a trans man has never won a single competition among biological males
because for a women to compete with men is pictured as a good thing base on the stereotype that men are stronger then women... total double standard
Blank. Period.

If a biological male who went through puberty who has transitioned to a female takes estrogen hormone therapy for 2 or 3 yrs, does it undue the process of his bone density and twitch fiber muscles that were created thicker and stronger (the bones) and faster and more explsoive(the twitch fiber muscles)? The answer is no, yes testosterone plays a part in giving an advantage in aggression and consistent muscle growth and maintenance, but what alot of ppl dont know or really what the trans athlete community down plays, is that testosterone levels is not the key advantage, it is the size one bone structure after a biological male goes through puberty and their twitch fiber muscle size and capability that goes through a drasric change that is irreversible one going through puberty. LeBron james even after years of estrogen treatment will still have the same huge bone size and density that makes him 6 6 and his reaction speed and explosiveness of muscles to jump and respond will still be there. I think allowing biological males to compete in a female league can partially undermine experiences that transgender people experience in their daily lives. I can definitely say that if I competed in girls track events in HS I would've easily won the state meets in my events by decent margins with the times I could run as a sophomore.
A trans women frequently compete against cis women without them knowing, but they don’t care because the trans women didn’t win. Let's say Carl felt like Carly one day, but felt like Car (nb) the next. There's nothing 'attention-seeking' about that at all. Carl/Carly/Car is literally living how they want, not seeking attention.
Also, I think you meant to say sex instead of gender there? Gender is a social construct, and people can change that. You know what people can't change? Their sex. But that doesn't make them any less of the gender they identify as.
that's really not how being trans works bud
alot of therapists are involved
it takes more than just a day obviously most trans people take years and years of treatment
Trans people should have their own league in sports and stick to their own label as trans and be proud of that.
Just make 2 more gender categories in sports and then everyone will be happy. That's it!
How is this video disliked so much but comment section is pretty on sided...cowards who just dislikeds without speaking up....cowards!
So Much Yes.. I'm in tears! Thankyoouu!🖤🖤
They are not "men identifying as women" they are women and u should open your eyes and realize that.
Sorry amber.They are men
What’s makes them a woman? Are you stupid?

@Sadie Young no as a trans person that is not fair to others trans ppl should have their own sports
All the women saying trans athletes should compete in women’s sports have never picked up a weight or played sports a day in their lives💀💀
Im trans-aged 🌈🏄I'm biologically 35 years old but I've always felt like a five year old; so I want to be refered to as a five year old. Very excited about starting kindergarten next year, Billy Madison style. Don't discriminate me because of my age.
😹😹😹
You're arguement doesnt actually hold up. As a person under the trans umbrella I am fully in my lane and have actually done research. Dispite both age and gender being a social construct age is much more important than gender, therefore it shouldn't be tampered with, BUT since gender is a social construct that has no true value besides companys making gendered products to make more money, therefore gender is free to be tampered with since it has no true social value.
Just don’t forget to apply some L’Oreal age defying cream for at least a year, you know, to comply with regulations.
@@femmyoz9561I’m also a trans umbrella… I was born a man but I identify as an umbrella. Sometimes more as a parasol.
So where should trans women compete... they would have a disadvantage in men’s sports
And they should not go to men’s sports anyway because they are still girls
I would like to get the opinion of an actual trans women XD
I think the best way of fixing this could be to make a separate category or multiple. Like having a transgender woman sports category, and then an all women.
No because they are at a disadvantage the opposite for trans woman, that’s not invalidating them, it’s literally just biological
In men's sports. If they have the guts.
This is what women get for voting blue

When trans people are breaking records and by a lot,all over the place in women’s leagues, some thing is obviously definitely wrong.
Always.
It has to be looked at in scale:
Serena williams is by far the best female tennis player ever, but she would rank approx (as an estimate based on her own admissions and actual played games against male players) the top 500 in the mens rankings. thats a gaping chasm of difference so even an "average" (say rank 350) tennis player could dominate the womens tennis scene as a trans female athlete.
The best argument for your side would be if you could provide evidence of a trans male athlete outperforming TOP male athletes, but i havent found anyone that fits that criteria.
If you are aware of someone id happily listen though, but no-one ever manages to answer this question and everyone i ask just avoids it and completely ignores it....
@@andrewg2033 thats incredibly good of you, you are most deffinitely a cut above most of the people i find on these sorts of videos!
and sadly its an awful 2 sided sword, where the issue can be used to be bigoted, but people can also claim the opposition is bigotted just to force their point of view regardless of substance.
You know sex doesn’t make a difference between skill right they are just better and the fact they were born male doesn’t make a difference
"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to death your right to say it"
Look at statistics of woman/man sports records
@Olivia Ray Trans women have been allowed to compete in the olympics for 17 years, if they have such an advantage where are all the medalists?
Those people who keep speaking up bout human rights is also the people who do discrimination and simply take out 'transphobic' card to those who disagree with their views.

"the new women's champion- Also a male" is funny to me. I like how everyone talking about trans people in this look like they're delivering horrible news and I like how it depicts the trans people always winning when in the Olympics didn't they have a really hard time. Anyway the girl is biased I think she's just making the distinction between her and those other women so that she can say she technically won so why would they get someone so biased to talk about something like this, you can kind of tell because she doesn't seem to care about trans men in men's sport only her experience and now she's generalising it to all of sports. This is a really fuzzy topic that I honestly dont have much experience or knowledge on but does anyone else think making this girl talk on it was a little bit dodgy, also all of the really cheap manipulation where they show all of the people sad and all of the women who aren't trans looking defeated or scared and all of the trans women all stronger and triumphant like it's just all really dodgy to me
If you're born a man, you should compete in sports with other men, or atleast others who are trans. She shouldn't have to care for "women" who are basically cheating.
what worries me, is the amount of thumbs down. WHERE IS the compassion for this young woman who wanted a career in sports or to have a championship medal? this is not about racims, discrimination or politics. Biological males usually will beat females in any sports they participate. a male athlete will always be better than a female athlete. YOU HAVE to respect the "authorities" and experts WHO FIRST CREATED the categories and separation areas of female sports and men's sports. Its biology. Yes, some skill is involved, but its biology. to give an illustration: what if all of a sudden, in the category of SENIORS sports leagues or even just a club of SENIORS or retirees club, it was considered FAIR and "progressive" an a RIGHT for young men and women to compete and force their way into leagues specifically OR ORIGINALLY created just for SENIORS? What would be the difference of a situation like that, as compared to THE PRESENT SITUATION of women's sports now having to open its doors to biological males JUST BECAUSE they "identify" themselves as females OR males that now are Transgenders? There is no difference. It can never be fair, people.
