I bought my 2018 Accord because it had a 250 hp turbo and a 10 speed gearbox. it has performed flawlessly. i get 34 mpg on cruisee at 75. It is quick and a blast to drive. I would not buythe Accord today as the hybrid engine and cvt take away the magic.
@@sBentonfamily To be honest the hybrid really isn't that bad. I am surprised by it still handles very well. I have both... The 2.0 is a god send, but the 11th gen feels VERY premium compared to the 10th gen. I wish they had the hybrid as AWD though,
I’ve got it. 2.0 turbo with 10 speed automatic, no CVT. 2019 Touring with 11,000 moles on it.. So happy to find it… takes me 6 months to find. I will never buy the modern garbage 1.5 or hybrid.
it was a long-term plan, the new TLX or Acura legend will be based on the Accord and adopt that engine transmission combo. The TLX as we know it will be discontinued
Honda may benefit most adding some configuration options to the Accord vs. trying to make so many things standard on X trim. One this would save the consumer some money and it would allow the vehicle to be more of a fit for more buyers. For example: I don't want a moonroof : $900 price reduction I don't ever use heated seats, ventilated seats, and a heated steering wheel: $500 price reduction I don't need or want AWD: If this was an option on the Accord, it'd be around $1800. Since the Accord has most of its weigh on the driving wheels, this a great way to reduce the price and not the utility. Give me some options like the Bose sound system! Having to get this only by the Touring trim makes it a non-starter (if this is basically all you want from the Touring trim) Give me the HomeLink as an option from the factory. Why force the consumer to spend additional time and money at the dealer to get the accessory installed. Give me the option of Sirius/XM. This was removed entirely from e the Accord line up. Give me the USB A ports...now I have to get an adapter (extra time and money) Give me some optional colors across all trims ( I like the blue shown in this video, but it is restricted by trim). All the body's go through the same paint shop. This is easily done by Honda. Give me some interior trim options (especially something other than Somber Black). This interior is so neutral it is somewhat flavorless and monolithic black. How about a blue? How about a carmel? Some hue other than black and very, very light grey/tan? Again, don't restrict this (if ever offered) by only the top 1 or 2 trims. Now the consumer has some flexibility and some ability to personalize the vehicle. Win-win!
I'm glad this sport model has some silver on the alloy wheels, I loathe black wheels on cars. That $455 extra cost blue paint looks good but I would go with no extra charge silver
Love your reviews, the best on the web. I would like to make one recommendation. Please do interior sound levels at real driving speeds 75 to 85 mph. No one drives 55 anymore.
Accord sport sales are definitely gonna increase. Honda knew because Toyota already had these as equipped. These new Camrys are flying off the lot like hot cakes. I’ve seen more new Camrys than new accords. I wasn’t a fan of the look of the accord at first but it’s grown on me. It definitely doesn’t look as cool as it once did but it’s not bad looking. Air vents in the back seats are so important now n days because many people die from a lack of air. It’s shame that it’s still vehicles on sale today without rear air vents.
I want the hybrid version EX with 17" wheels, no leather, no sunroof, and cheaper, but Honda doesn't think about me. Look at the Camry LE. Is it selling poorly?
After looking at Hyundais one piece design for speedo + infotainment, these honda and toyota 2 piece and stick on type infotainment looks so awful. Maybe its first world problems, but i really feel like they should lift up their designs.
Did they change the seats i know I hate the ones on the 2023 model sport at least rented one before. Also is the suspension changed because I noticed it road little more rough
I owned a lot of Hondas since 1991 and they were all great cars but the new Accord is ugly and uninspiring . I also question the reliability of the Honda line, lots of recalls and TSBs for issues which Hinda likes to extend warranty coverage on, My last Honda was a 2018 Civic EX which I turned in at lease end, it was subject to the oil dilution issue, The older Hondas were rock solid and good for 200K plus miles but new hybrid models have to prove they will last in the long run.
It's 3.5" shorter than the 2025 BMW 5 series. The sloped design of the back maybe gives the appearance that it's longer than it really is? In my opinion, the worst part of this car is the rear tail lights. Even though they're all LED, they just look cheap. The tail lights on the Civic would have been much nicer. Thankfully there are some aftermarket mods available. The plain, nondescript front is clean and livable-looks a little Euro VW, Ford...
I love Honda’s including the styling on the current version of the Accord. What I don’t like are these small displacement turbocharged 4 cylinder engines with oil dilution problems and CVT transmissions. Let’s return to those naturally aspirated 2 liter engines that are practically indestructible and torque converter automatic transmissions.
Air ball...styling is boring and the older gen looked better...no touch to unlock on all 4 doors...Small gas tank of 14.8 gallons on the 1.5L and a even smaller gas tank of 12.81 gal on the more expensive models...1.5L is not the most reliable engine and wish it had the older 2.0 Turbo. According to Honda's website the Touring model does have a Heating Steering Wheel. The Touring model also has Acoustic Laminate Windshield and Acoustic Front Door Glass so it should be quieter, however on your dB chart the 2023 Accord Touring is loader at 62.4dB compared the 58.1dB for the Sport trim in this video. I am not sure how the Sport could be quieter than the Touring?
When Honda stopped offering Sirius XM (not even as an option) they lost my business to Camry XLE. Don’t tell me about Apple Car Play or Android Auto. They only work where you have cell coverage, which excludes large swathes of the country.
Compared to the new Sonata, new K5, and new Camry Hybrid…..the Accord is a joke. My first car was a 1987 Accord LX and was so fun to drive and own. Today’s Accord is behind the times and interior looks like a clone of the CR-V and Civic.
I kind of like the Accord but no thanks because it looks so skinny and a slopping roof like a Camry looks fatter in the body and taller , Camry is my favorite one and I’d own the 2019 Se and didn’t go to a repair shop yet 😂
No projector led lights, no side turn signal led lights, no leather seats. Camry is faster and cheaper why a one should purchase this accord?unless you get 3k off msrp
Honda quality and reliability has went to hell!! I was a loyal customer of 8 new cars and so glad I got rid of it!! Overpriced cars and suvs which are poorly manufactured and highly sold, not the Honda I use to remember
Car too big to have no power....just go back to 6th gen body if u gonna have cylinders ....car wayy too big and wants to be a dodge charger so bad....go back to copying bmws 😅 like the old days
Not worth it, the exterior design is already showing its age, variety of engines is mediocre, and Honda didn’t even have the decency to make the infotainment screen look good, it just looks tacky for a car from 2025, better off saving money and buying a 2016 Kia Optima.
I’ve recently got 2.0 Turbo 10 speed automatic touring. No CVT. This is rocket. No CVT. Traded in for my old 2017 accord with 225,000 miles on it. Can’t be happier. The modern Hondas are garbage unfortunately.

Honda is really funny sometimes.
Honda Accord: Full LED taillights
Honda Odyssey: What are LEDs?
Light emitting diode =led
yea it’s so weird because the HRV has full leds which is a subcompact suv, but the Acura RDX doesn’t even have full LED lights
@@w-josh yeah both the rdx and odyssey are in desperate need of a redesign, surprised theyre waiting so long to do it

Car is dynamite. The inside is so comfortable and ride is amazing. I purchased the silver with black trim and rims. It’s sharp.
Thank you Honda for listening. Love the updates. I still want to see some more material contrasting in the cabin other than that lovely package.
The Honda Accord is a solid choice! It's known for its reliability, great fuel efficiency, and comfortable ride.
In my opinion Honda should have made the accord hybrid exclusive
Because in my opinion the 1.5t is not that great of a powertrain because it’s more unrefined and doesn’t get that great mileage compared to the hybrid
I do not agree . By making all the accord hybrid good for the environment and less price wise.
Does any body care about the horsepower we lost??? Liberal car enthusiasts kill everything I swear....Liberals took away the v6 279hp

35k+ for a accord is crazy
Nice view and I will take this over the Camry.
Good looking car. Dash could have been more impressive. Honda should bring back the knobs and more individualized car information displays
Are the seats very comfortable?
We didn't have any problem with them. These clothes ones seemed a little softer than our Camry's leather ones.

Once upon a time accord got elegant and classic design, now the exterior is simply shitty. Cheap designer == Cheap look.
It's silly how certain trim levels don't have a SPARE TIRE 🤔
Still no heated wheel available, come on
It's now included on the Touring trim here in the U.S! We apologize for the error.
If only they offer that color on the touring trim. Top trim colors are bland compared to Toyota
