Bunny is such a genius! She understands concepts far beyond anything we have ever attributed to animals.

I feel like she's been just waiting for those two buttons! She was clever and made do with "play", but now she can say it better!

Gosh, Bunny’s communication skill is Incredible. I’ve been thinking that I would have loved to try this with my dog Max if I could’ve been able to get the buttons, and if Max hadn’t passed away. 👩🏻‍🦰⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️🐾🐩👩🏻🐶⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️🐾

That's amazing! My dog takes absolutely no notice of people on video calls, even if they talk to her, but barks at animals on TV. It'll be interesting to see what Bunny thinks is real or pretend, especially since there's no natural precedent for it!🤔💝

So, Bunny is on medication... Because you think he is depressed?
I dont think you should be on the internet and even have your dog.
I mean it, this is sad to watch.
'Why Bunny dog?' lets get him some Prozac, how sad.
I cant believe this is a channel.
      💯👎🤮

As soon as my dog hears a Zoom meeting or phone call, she manipulates me for treats. She will come stand by the room and bark, until I toss her treats to go away until I am done. She always outsmarts me!😅

Bunny IS amazing! I would guess that the difference between real and pretend for her would mainly be whether she can smell "it". If dad is home she can certainly see, hear, AND smell him, so he is real, but if dad is on the device she can't smell him, only hear him & maybe see him, so then he is pretend.

It might be your dog distinguishing between "real" people and "pretend" people, thinking there's no point in reacting to non-real humans. My dog also doesn't react to my mom on a video call, but he seems to recognize her voice. He tilts his head, looks at the screen for a few seconds, and then leaves. One day, I called my mom for fun when I was in the same house with her. As soon as her voice came out of the phone, my dog barked in surprise and rushed to her room!

My boys gone now but he didn't react to calls unless it was his Dad then he'd go mad and run to the door thinking dad was back so I'd say it's ok he's on the phone point to it & say back eg soon.
Or he'd hear a cat on the TV 📺 .. he'd react I'd say it's ok it's just on the TV he came to understand this meant there's no cat 😺 in the room & calm down.

I'm so glad she has the new words! She's amazing. ❤
My first Siamese rescue boy loved to hear my voice over the phone when I was away from him. My current cats don't have much interest, apart from playing games for cats on a tablet.

This is exciting. Pretend vs real. I'm also looking forward to seeing where she takes this. This is getting into sentience and recognition of duality. Especially as a Buddhist this is extremely interesting. Something in me wonders if animals may have a better grip on the nature of reality than we do. Or at least a simpler, and more practical take on it. Really looking forward to finding out a lot more about her thoughts and hopefully we will witness a big shift, for the betterment of animals, in the way humans treat them. I'm not sure if people know how big an evolutionary step this is. Interspecies 2 way discussions.

Let's be honest. We haven't really had new and interesting things from Bunny on this channel. It had been reposting old surprises. But this, this video is totally new and totally surprising. Bunny is getting deeper and deeper into the world of abstract ideas. I'm just blown away.

Bunny keeps blowing me away with her ability to articulate herself so well, especially with new concepts🤯 And I am glad that she understands that pretend means they aren't there, so she doesn't have to stress about keeping track of them. Because we know our girl is sensitive and likes her people together❤

I wish she would stop asking all those questions and putting words in Bunny's mouth when she is trying to tell her about her dreams. She is not giving Bunny any time to think about what words to use, and all those questions (that might not be accurate when it comes to what she dreamt at all) may make it more confusing for her to answer if she is trying to say something completely different, and now she has to also answer unrelated questions. That may be too complicated, and may just lead her to just want to go along with whatever mom says, just to please mom. Give her room to think and explain. If she takes way too long to explain, THEN try to ask ONE question at a time, with plenty of room for her to process it and think of a reply.
