Totally agree. We don't think it is possible to put Ren in a box and his versatility is what caught our attention in the first place. He showed it to us in one song ("Hi Ren") and we've been hooked ever since!

Ren has loads of fun songs! Even his darker tracks will have some humour in there somewhere. Some of Ren's songs are hilarious! He has a wicked sense of humour, which some people miss, because it's very 'tongue-in-cheek'. :)

Thank you for an enjoyable reaction! Ren is like the Coen Brothers, with their wide variety of movie styles and themes, from comedies to musicals to deadly serious to avant garde. He's got a few more on the light side (Love Music series, What You Want, Uninvited, Loco), some that are uplifting (Ocean, Humble, Power) and a few that are more "flexy" (The Hunger, Wicked Ways, Nas Halftime Retake, Illest of Our Time, Murderer). In all or most of them he still makes references to his health struggles, reminding us that he has found success and fulfillment not only in spite of the hardships, but also because of how he learned to accept and deal with the hardships.
He truly is an amazing artist. A musical swiss army knife.

You guys are killing the reactions! Way deeper thoughts than most I’ve seen…. You need to check out his band ‘the big push’ especially‘I shot the sheriff>road to Zion>hip hop’. Also his cover of ‘back on ‘74’ and his originals ‘the hunger’ ‘genesis’ ‘power’

I really enjoy this track, it's so much fun! I've said this before, I work at an EDM festival every summer in Canada and Fisher played this on our main stage a month after he released Losing It in the summer of 2018. I was in the food court getting dinner right by that stage and the crowd was spilling out the gates, everyone was booty shakin hard to this track so when I heard Ren's version it really brought back that fond memory. I listen to this song often, thanks for reacting guys! Always love your content and commentary!
