Who am I?
Hey guys- I'm Shirin, I'm a doctor and graduated from King's College London (in London! of course!) and moved to America to pursue my dream of residency training in the USA! I'm a first year resident (intern) and I live with my husband who is also a doctor from the UK! I share all things Medicine, Fashion and general life on this youtube channel and on my instagram page @halalgirlnewyork !

This was beautiful to watch. I remember praying for you to match, my hubby is an IMG and matched in family medicine about 10 years ago! I can imagine all the feelings you were going through at that moment. I am a London transplant too (went to nursing school in the UK) before joining my hubby in TX. Now a nurse practitioner. Hello Dr. Shirin, I am a third year medical student and was wondering if you would advise me to sit Step 1 before January 2022 (during my fourth year) rather than during FY1 due to the new Step 1 changes regarding the reporting of results with Pass or Fail. I would highly appreciate your advice as you have been very successful in matching. Thank you very much and good luck with your residency.
