There is no better way to enjoy a beautiful day than taking a long walk while listening to an audiobook. I've only read 5 books (out of 50) for the read what you own challenge. It's better than nothing! Straight fantasy makes my head hurt and 1,000 + pages of fantasy would probably kill me but I love Mr. Durfee. I hope you enjoy your audibooks. 🙂 Miss Bella is gorgeous!! 😻
A good audiobook always adds to the story experience, it never detracts. Ask any linguist and he will tell you: language was first spoken, not written. What a fabulous way "to read what you own." Cheers.
It was funny listening along as you covered mostly recent fiction in various genres, somewhat older nonfiction, and then bam! SF is all books from my childhood and youth, apart from token Tchaikovsky. :)
Geek Love Is a favorite of mine, too. I haven't read Attic yet, nor have I read Dunn's posthumously published novel, either. Maybe we can discuss Attic after we read it?
Glad to hear someone else appreciates the audiobook. I definitely count them as books read. I especially favour Pearl Buck's _The Good Earth_ which I suppose I will eventually review on my channel funnily enough.
@@anotherbibliophilereads I thought it was epic, in scope, but important with respect to issues, for what it's worth. I mean we have different leanings so to speak but maybe from what I can tell from your videos, maybe you would appreciate it... !
Last year it took me to June to reach the bronze tier!😀 Now there are only 7 books on my shelf so I will not be taking part in the challenge (but read those seven books).
The Wolf Den trilogy is excellent. I really enjoyed it. Was it the Brothers Gwynne on BT you saw? It was their enthusiasm for the series that made me pick it up.
I'm doing 50 books. I could do 100 but then I am allowed to buy books just once a year since I'm a slow reader. Will not be done with the challenge this year but probably during spring next year to be realistic .. .

@@unstopitable I’m unable to understand those who are stringently against
audiobooks .
I really liked the first of the 5 Warrior Angels books.
The Forgetting Moon was indeed great. Two surprises at the end.

I have really liked the couple of Ahlborn I have read, I have one to read for the challenge. Looks like an amazing list of potential listens coming up

I could honestly have enough to do the 1000 Book Challenge.

That might be the channel. I think it was a top 10 list of something like that.
