Thanks, it's one of my most favourite films of all time, so I did a lot more planning and research to try and get it as close as possible. It was quite challenging because the original poster is a vertical portrait, so I had to re-pose Hiccup to fit into the 16:9 ratio.
I would love to have a tutorial on why you do the things you do in this. I notice the using Paint to sketch out designs before sculpting them, but then also notice the way you place the edge of something then "fill" in the shape you made, i'd love to go through the reasoning for that stuff. Obviously skipping the whole build process to stopping at each technique you use to explain it :D
Currently working on another video trying to explain the process better. The main thing is whenever I have trouble visualising where shapes need to go. Sketching is a good way to solve 2D issues, like silouhette, foreshortening, composition, angles and shapes from the camera's P.O.V, but blocking is a way to solve more of the 3D construction side.
For this I recorded around 20 hours of unedited footage and would capture around 4-5 hours a day. So I spent 4 to 5 days on it (4 to 5 hour sessions for each stage) but this was stretched over a span of 2 weeks, so had breaks in between. It sounds like a lot but time flies once you get into it and take it step by step.
Amazing 😮 the amount of detail is ... Extra ordinary,my guy I support you all the way❤❤❤ keep it up and post constantly my notifications is on❤❤❤
Absolutely incredible work once again. Looks like its taken straight out of the film! Keep up the good work!

Incredible. Looks like it was taken straight from the movie. How long did it take you to do it?
