If you remove the pin section and run a tooth pic throught the holes in the pin where the water comes out, you will find it pluged with dryed coffee. It pops out very easly and the flow is full agian. This is common with all podds and you should inude this in your vido as every one I know has had the same problem. I do admit it was your vido that showed me how to get the pin out for inspedcdtion LOL. Keep up the good work.

Hey guys. FYI, Using a baster in the reservoir side to push air through will fix your Keurig. I have had same problem. Also started using filtered water and only have to descale about every 3 months now.

Great video! I just bought and set up this machine. Also bought the filter you linked from Amazon. Question for you. Do you leave it plugged in? The directions say to unplug, but you would lose the clock and time delay. Thank you!

I recently had an issue with my keurig. I called them twice, they said that they would send a replacement out but never did. I emailed them three times and they told me to call again. Their customer service is now terrible since the soda company bought them. I will never buy another Keurig again. The unit that I bought was still under warranty (6 months old). I even registered it when I bought it. Just a bunch of words on a piece of paper that don't mean anything.

Yeah, they have really gone downhill since the first one we bought years ago. I'm sorry you had a bad experience as well. This one is still going strong though and we are really happy with it!
That happened with my Nespresso with the descaling thing. I bought another one on Amazon Day in the summer and super happy with it!
Good to know the Keurig isn't the only one that has issues with the descaling!
If you don’t want so much scale, use distilled water. Bottled water is easier on them too.

Any idea how long it takes for carafe "brewing" status on display to switch over to "keep warm"?
I noticed in the video, yours switched over at some point but wasn't sure if the switch was reflected in real time.
Short of standing in front if my coffee maker for up to 2 hr.s, I've never observed the switch.
Obviously not a significant issue, because the plate stays warm. Merely find it irritating. :)

Hello, I have a question: Should I put coffee in the filter basket, and as for water, where can I put it?
Coffee grounds go intge filter basket and water goes in the reservoir behind that.
Do you know if the pod water container is removable? What do you think about it now that you have had it for a while?

My parents just ordered this….we opened it and opened the kcup
Compartment and it had a green mountain kcup punctured inside! The coffee was dry but has this happened to anyone else? It was bought from target
Is there a way to turn on the reheat warmer after it shuts off, I believe it stays on for 2 hours. Our old kurig would just hold the brew button until the light turned red for reheat.
Press the brew button. As long as there is no water in the reservoir, doing that turns the warmer on.
J have used the compressed air to clean out the top. The needle is clean. it has been descaled several time. I alsways use filtered water not tap water too. It is ony about 2.5 years old. I am getting very frustrate with using the K Cup side. I use that any day I am not going to work because my need for cffee changes on those mornings. What else can I do
We had the same problem, and it may sound wrong, but we slammed the water reservoir down into its housing, with some water in it, 2 or 3 times and that fixed it. Doing that i believe will dislodge anything stuck. We read to do that in a forum and were skeptical and a little concerned about that being bad for it but it did work! Just be as careful as you can!

Does condensation leak onto the counter at the back when the lid is opened after a carafe brew?
Haven't had that happen.
For the carafe side , have you noticed if the water drip arm moves on its own when you close the lid? A different brand coffee maker have does this
It does get moved by the lid when you close it! We realized that after filming this video.

If you look under the cup rest/storage container there is a coffee filter. Where does the filter go?
That is for the K cup side or single brew side for when you want to use your own grounds instead of K cups. It just goes in where you would put the k cups.

The screen lights are always on unless you unplug the machine. Pushing the button just turns off the brewing/heating element.
Same has happened to me must have spent at least a thousand dollars on Keurig. Bought a ninja didn’t like coffee.

If you put four tablespoons how many cups would that be for the caracafe
We do 12 cups for 4 Tablespoons.

It's going to brew whatever amount of water you put in. If you fill it to 4, it will brew 4 cups of coffee.

It's pretty hot. Hot enough that I usually let it cool a bit before I drink it!

How do you turn the machine off after use?
It has an automatic turn off after 2 hours for the burner. To turn it off before, you push the BREW NOW button. The screen lights are always on unless you unplug the machine.
Have the same one Only had it two weeks. Screen said error where you put the coffee in it is spitting out water and coffee grounds Hamilton Beach is no help. Told me to try cleaning it with vinegar Going back to instant coffee.
Sorry to hear that! Cleaning it with vinegar is what we have always done with our Keurigs and this one when they act up. It's the stock answer a company will give you, but doesn't always work, unfortunately.

i purchased the coffee Maker and I really like the machine. My big problem is the coffee tastes like plastic. I washed everything in soapy water ,ran water thru and even did a diluted water and vinegar mixture. Any advice for me to get rid of that plastic taste. Thanks
Sorry to hear that, we didn't experience that with ours. It sounds like you have done everything already that I would have done or recommended, myself. The only thing I can think of would be to run water through a couple of more times. If it persists, it is probably something wrong with the machine.
