Enjoy watching a master craftsman at work!! Side note: As a grandparent it would be great to see cameos of Lux in each video so we can watch him grow. :)
I like your vids. No overdoing the acting to be extra funny or smart. You just go about the job and show us the best way to do things with minimal equipment. Thatnjs for the great content
Love big blocks in cars & trucks! Just wish it had been a Mopar engine but, economics being the way they are you gotta use what you got! Could you have found a different oil pan & not pushed it back so far, just wondering? Marty G
Great video and fab skills. Using them fancy magnetic angle finders and all. Addicting to watch. So u prefer tig these days over mig. ? Look forward to part deux
Both mig and tig have their place. Tig weld is much cleaner and nicer to work with. It takes a little longer to weld, and the fitment needs to be nice, but the weld clean up from tig is so much faster than mig.
Hello Lee. A couple of questions. 1 you made the fire wall on the table so you could have fully welded it but is that just a waste of time. 2 would that bell housing fit a 350 as well as 454 I no the 454 is a bigger lump. Now it’s New Year’s Eve at nine o clock in the morning I would like to wish Shannon baby lux and you Lee a very happy 2024 . Also to Jim and all your families and friends. And to all your subscribers.not forgetting Doris.Cheers Tim.
Happy new year! I chose to spot weld it over fully welding to save time on welding and grinding. Mainly grinding. It also keeps heat distortion to a minimum. And yes, this is the same bellhousing bolt pattern as a 350. Chevrolets are good that way
I would’ve done the larger piece in one piece and just bent the corners so it had contours. And tried to make it look more factory than anything else. 🤔

Lots of Lux in next week’s video
I like the way lux swings on a steering wheel already.

I appreciate that!
I like that you use a sliding bevel gauge.
Nice work Lee, keeping the rumble and the roar out of the cab.
👍🏻 Nice job with that fire wall and everything else you do.

I like the use of the table saw for a work surface. Good use of old equipment.
Nice and informative work as usual - love the little accent you put in the driver's side. Looking forward to part two.
Glad to see Traditional Cardboard Aided Design in use. Happy New Year to you, Shannon, Lux and Doris (even if she doesn't care)

I tried looking for different oil pan options, but they only make two styles for a BBC. Rear sump, or full sump.
Good work👍👍👌
Nice work 👌
Coming along nicely - Keep at Lee - Happy New Year
Happy new year!
Lookin great
Thanks
A happy new year to you all
Happy new year

Great video. Wjhat are you working on in the Background? Happy New Year. My grandson is seven months old. Cute boy..
53 Mercury pick up in the background
Nice fab work.
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice job Lee but shouldn’t you have made that panel removable so you could get to the transmission bolts and have enough room to remove it 🤔
I still have full access to all the bell housing bolts from inside

Thanks for you reply Lee. I’m not familiar with chevys. I’m more Buick. Bit bigger than are rover engines. Cheers thanks again.
12:06 Off subject question: Is your dollar store still a dollar? Here in the US the dollar store is now $1.25.
$1 a sheet for this paper. But it ends up being $1.12 after tax
Ours use to be $1 plus .08 tax@@LGKustoms

wondering if the shifter is going to be too far back
I haven’t built the shifter yet, so it can go anywhere still
just wondering are using the stock colum ,because that clutch hole could be used with a tilt column .
Still using the stock column. I prefer to use stock wheels and columns whenever possible.
hi think the distributor will come out just sayin
Yes the distributor still goes in and out. I talked about that at the 13:30 point of the video
good to hear nice job though@@LGKustoms
Why dont you tack the firewall togetthen weld it out if thetruck, then install it in one piece.
