didn't know you could sanction a specific unit in the army.
“Right lads, this specific platoon is getting their assets frozen, because fuck ‘em”
There an US law (Leahy) that bars foreign units that routinely violate human rights; from receiving/using US military gear.
Wouldn't attacking the US bases prolong the US presence?, It seems counter intuitive to do that. Unless the militia is making a statement.
What is the US base doing there on a foreign soil
Depends. You can always bank on the fact, that the public opinion will pressure the government to withdraw. See what happened f.e., to stay in the region, with British presence in Palestine, following the terrorist campaign of Jewish settlers
@TheMrage there's this little thing called the Iraq war in 2003. So, bases and military instalation would be built. It's not that hard to grasp
American bases in Okinawa haven't been attacked ever and they're still there 80 years later, even though the local population hates it.
@@gre3nishsinx0Rgold4 so the Iraq war 2003 gave America the rights to build a base in Syria against the Syrian governments wishes? Hmmmm

Can the Middle East be chill for just ONE MINUTE, jeez….
No
No
Imperialists were trying really hard to setup middle east for failure and now they harnessing september 11 th and more. But main suffering is still by Iraqis Syrians Palestinians.
@@manekrit2417 The Middle East is unfortunately targeted by several great powers. The UK and France are somewhat responsible for the current situation thanks to the Sykes-Picot agreement, as well as the UK's handling of the situation with Israel, and the US's meddling and wars also heavily destabilized the region. One can argue that Russia's support and armament of proxy groups and some states could also count as that.
However, the Middle East also has many internal problems that are exploited by foreign actors, but are otherwise also there. There is a constant need for a strong government in many countries in order to keep back extremism, but this often comes with the exploitation of the poopulation and large levels of corruption. However, many places are in chaos since overthrowing their strong government that at least provided some stability - foreign powers exploited the situation, but they are only partially to be blamed. It's also worth mentioning that the Middle East itself has not one, not two, not even three, but four major powers (Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Israel (even the UAE is trying out its luck recently)), who all compete for a huge regional role, and therefore commonly tend to engage in all-out or proxy wars, as well as sponsoring civil unrest and arming proxy groups. They are supported by foreign actors, sure, but a lot of their actions come from personal desires to gain more power - Iran, for example, despite being supported by Russia, acts pretty much independently in the region.
So, while imperialism can be blamed here, there are a lot of reasons for the Middle East's problems, both internal and external.
Attaking US Bases in Syria only increases tensions!

Modi reminds me of a certain German politician
Its a nuanced situation. Islamists often dont back the country they reside in and as such are seen as a threat. There were massacres in India when the British overthrow the Ottoman empire (Moplah genocide of hindus) and recently there were riots when Israel attacked Gaza despite India having nothing to do with it.
There's also generational trauma of Islamic invaders and years of the ruling left leaning government appeasing the muslim minority.

Modi turning fascistic?
He always has been bro 💀...
Let's hope that modi was just taken out of context.
It wasn't he really said this. The full speech doesn't really change any meaning
Modi's comments were targetted at Bangladeshi and Rohingya illegal immigrants. Not Indian Muslims. And no, Modi's critics seem to just shrivel and disintegrate everytime they even mention him, because the man seems to be undefamable. So far, emboldened critics are taken less and less seriously. I dont think people realise to just what extent Modi's popularity is. Even much of my extended family in Kannur, Kerala, a Southern state where BJP historically has had 0 footprint are now all planning to vote in BJP.
They 100% knew about the incoming attack and let it happen.

Why iraqi militants resumes attack on us? Is that a hysterical question😂

A guaranteed cure for this is to not have US troops in countries that are not the US.
Cool, how about the Islamic republic holding iran hostage and their troops and proxies all over the Middle East? Or do you only care when you can blame the west? Neo Marxist hypocrit3 (although that’s a bit of an oxymoron)
You should have added the bit where Modi's statement regarding the previous PM's words were categorically false.
Also, was the comment about a particular religious group getting priority over all resources? Is no-one going to talk about how that was inherently racist? now its Hindu nationalist, rather than being Pro Hindu, which India, quite frankly, has been missing since its conception on Independence day.
Congress vote base is 50% muslims, so it's understandable to attack muslims. If they didn't want to be attacked, be like Christians and support modi. Ur side spends no emotions attacking Modi's base but gets angry when he does the same? Brother the hypocrisy

@@CedarHunt The Iraqi people who have been suffering since the US's unjustified invasion in 2003. Since Sadam Hussein was overthrown, the country has been in shambles with different armed groups fighting for control over different regions. The only area that seems to be happy with the aftermath is the Kurdish region who got more autonomy. The rest of the country has had to suffer. Even the man who tore down Sadam's statue and whose family was killed by Sadam, says he wants Sadam back because of how poorly the country has been managed since he was overthrown. The current Iraqi government is essentially a US puppet put in power to fulfill US interests in the region and nothing else. They do not represent the majority of Iraqi citizens who tend to lean more towards supporting Iran than the US. Our reason for invading Iraq was completely unjustified. Not only did they not have weapons of mass destruction, but the person who was responsible for 9/11 had absolutely no relation to Iraq whatsoever.
Why do they in Iraqi?
Yes.
To help defend Iraq from Iran mostly

So? Someone can be attacked and not get injured. If I attack you with a knife but miss and you're unharmed, I'd still have attacked you with a knife. Dafuq??
Modi isn't wrong though, congress openly said minorities have first right over nation's resources, and not just any minorities like buddhist chritians or sikhs, but MAINLY MUSLIMS. Its on video, they said so. Its because other minotiries do vote for modi but muslims dont, thats why congress always tries to attarct them, so nothing wrong with modi said. Why should indian cultered people not get first right over indian resources over those people?
so instead of prioritizing a certain group, now youre prioritizing another certain group instead. why not treat them equally?
Or why should not everyone get the same recources and everything extra should be earned by innovation or hard work and not decided by what culture/religion you belong to

Translate Modi's speech by an unbiased source, read the data from Karnataka, where around 450cr Rs have been collected as tax from hindu temples and around 330cr Rs distributed to mosques and dargahs (no taxation for either of them and neither for churches), the fact he is saying isnt wrong though one might question his unexacting tone (agree completely with the intruders fact, check west bengal data, millions of bangladeshis have infiltrated and been provided documents by local govt to create a voter base.).
