The moon library joke: Chicago has a lot of poverty/underfunded schools, so the kids were reacting sarcastically to the idea of the moon getting a library before they do.

    Michael Che:
Police arrested a legless woman in Florida who was wanted for skipping a court date. It's a rare case of a legless person skipping.
    Me:
Anyone who argues that this joke is not a good example of comedy...
has an argument without any legs on which to stand.

These are good. I like when they write jokes for each other.

I thought that this was freaking hilarious. I didn't get all of the jokes, but I had to pause & rewind a few of them as some of them were too funny. The Grindr joke was fantastic. I'll be spreading that one around. Too Funny!!!

It is well known that Schools in Chicago, particularly in Black neighborhoods are historically underfunded. Kids who grew up in poor neighborhoods also sometimes have memories of having astronauts visit their classrooms to talk about space and advertising space camp. A thing, no one's family could afford. The joke is, they found the money to build a library in space but there still isn't money for kids in Chicago to go to have a library to go to.

It came out a few years ago, but have you seen "30 Rock?" SNL's Tina Fey created it. It's one of the best comedies I've seen, and it does have a good bit of dark humor throughout.

Good morning! I enjoy the humor of comedian Shawn Gillis. His humor is fabulously inappropriate, and he leaves no subject forbidden.

these fellas are nice and all but colin is a writer rather than performer and Michael isn't a one liner comic and hasn't improved at landing jokes. it's just about time they move on. it's been much longer than any previous update host i believe, and they're just not exciting. when tina took over it started this tradition of the head writer hosting update but it's just became homogenous with diminished returns. new gen z weird homegirl or younger tall guy homeboy would be actually really interesting, or a better veteran who's a lively performer live Heidi Gardner.
