Codex Imperial Agents and Battleforces Abound! - Sunday Rundown 8/4/24

Games Workshop has decided to keep things a little close to the chest, and only two weeks after officially announcing it, Codex: Imperial Agents is going up for preorder on August 10th! Along with the Codex itself, we get the requisite Combat Patrol and Datasheet Cards (no dice to speak of though). Strangely we see not one, not two, but three different Battleforces depending on the heracy you'd like to hunt. Well mostly different. Since their model range spans a long period of time as well as many game systems, we are also seeing quite a few reprints. Among them are the Officio Assassinorum, two Kill Team kits, a Deathwatch Captain, two models from the Blackstone Fortress board game, and two Inquisitors that survived the transition of editions.
Leaving the Agents aside for a moment, we also see a new book for Boarding Actions that has nearly 300 pages and 55 new ways to play the close quarters combat of a void ship. If you enjoyed this game mode, this is a definite buy.
Lastly, and dear Emperor not least, we get the absolutely stunningly gorgeous sculpt of the Celestant Sacresant Aveline, along with the novel telling her tale. If you think we aren't getting one, you've got another thing coming. Like maybe a flamer sword.

Most of the models are cool. Honestly I would like one of these boxes even if I have no intention on playing them. Maybe if they show up on a third party site I'll grab em. Thanks for making this vid 🙏😃

You're right about the female inquisitor's high heels. I love her model but wearing high heels and being someone who is in combat literally cannot overlap as you would fall and break your ankles lol. I prefer my models to have realistic touches that's why I remove alot of the weird spiky bits on my elves armor because all it would do is snag on things.
