Those Blood Bowl minis are from 2nd edition. I've still got a full Skaven team, about 20 Dark Elfs, and a couple dozen random chaos, orks, misc and even 1 chaos dwarf. If they were releasing the 2ed high elfs I would jump right on it, but I'll pass on these guys. At one time I had a full dwarf team, including a death roller, but I sold it back in the 90's.

Necromunda is a game stuck in an 80s metal bands power ballad. The story is more important than the glory of wiping your opponent off the board turn 1. So my buddy and I are excited to learn to play the game.

Green for the most part looks like a centipede based monster (multiple stubby legs on the segmented body and mandibles) but I'm thrown by the head carapace. 3 pointed crown is a darkelf/drukhari motif, so it could be some kind of tamed beast for them.

The one with an orange background is very obviously a thanatar calix, the anti-tank variant of the thanatar that is currently a resin kit.

The last one probably is a Bray-Shaman, but it could also be an Empire Beasts wizard or even some kind of Wood Elf caster.

Thats totally a Beastman Brayshaman. Like the last couple (empire) wizards, this one was allready revealed to little notice in art in the main rule book.

My favorite thing with my Outcast gang was a Champ with Precognition. You can pick missions with money, rep or fun rules. I just suggest running your pick by your opponent and having a backup. No one wants to fight a gang lead by the Harvest Lord that always runs assassination missions.

My buddy and I just bought the big box because he liked the stealers. I happily took the high-tech hunters now I am 40 years old and have been playing games workshop games since I was 13 years old, but these guys seem like a tough gang to start with. So I really enjoy these rundowns. Thank you.

Love your videos, please keep them up. With Ablative armour, I believe that it is used up whenever your make an armour save roll - it is used when you make the roll, whether you pass or not.

Great overview guys! Just a couple of questions: We read the rules as only Champions, Witches and the Leader being able to take Familiars, since it's listed under their options but not under anyone else, are you sure everyone can take Familiars? We also read the rules as only Champions, Witches and Leader being immune to Insanity, and Gangers do not get this boon, but maybe we're misreading it? Also, when you discussed Familiars, you make it sound like they're too bad at fighting to be relevant other than as almost just being "tokens" for the special attack-avoiding ability, but as we understand it they are basically unkillable juves for 25 credits, which also make you have potentially twice the number of models on the field as your opponents since familiars do not count as gang members/models for the purpose of scenario restrictions. You mentioned that their ability is not as good in melee due to the number of incoming attacks, but if they're in melee they are also making their own attacks as well as more importantly providing +1 to hit for the character they're supporting, unless we've missed something about familiars not counting as supporting models in melee?

57:00 Squats are going to look short and stocky. *helping* - I treat familiars as extravagant items, and limit them to leaders/champions. I like the ludo-narrative of helots, lots of chaotic dice rolling that might give you power, or might heartlessly dash your hopes and dreams.

Figured I could ask here, so I saw a battle report where it was pitch black, so he chose to fire at the floor in the distance for a -2 but that being said it’s pitch black. Would I be able to with a charge caster be able to fire through the dark at terrain or at the floor in the distance? I’m so lost as I’ve seen 3-4 things all arguing about similar but not this and I’m new to the game and don’t own a book yet

Finally! Thank you! But there's mistake about ritual: champions may be spawned, no immunity to be part of it Regarding captive - RAI captive is killed. and every campaing I've played Arbitrator said the ritual kills captive - in the end of the day it's chaos sacrifice ritual, gd dammit!

One thing I didn’t hear mentioned is the price point. $65 (Amazon) is a great value for what comes in the box. Games Workshop would charge $150+. It seems like a fantastic gateway minis game

It was Morathi all along, so when the aelf pray for khaine, all of that goes for Morathi Does she cannot move after using Mirror Dance? like her spell doesn't have Move keyword so I think she can move after that, and Move ability just need a unit that is not in the combat.
