I've got this laptop almost a week ago, and I am pleasantly surprised by how well does this laptop work. But my model came a bit weird. The original one should have only 1 standard USB port, charging port, USB-C port, and micro-jack. Mine has one additional HDMI port, and one more standard USB port. Nothing to complain, but still, that was quite weird. Still - I very much recommend this tool. Very sharp screen and works just fantastic.
@@bashyraidejuan5573 It works just fine, but this plastic frame below the keyboard got some weird stains from my sweaty hands. Plus, edges got some scratches and cracks too, caused by poor plastic quality
I have the original Chuwi Corebook X from 2021 with the 7 series chipset and typing on it now :). Its littrally the same just a new chipset and wifi card!
i have an i3 10110u model wich i`ve upgraded with 16gb ram since 2022. Tbh it`s the best laptop for money i`ve ever had. Use it for coding and learning on a daily basis.
I have bad experiance, Just after one year, battery bulged , touchpad detached due to bulging of battery, screen has some patches, one key is not functioning. So, this laptop is not durable at all.
I was going to buy a HP Pavilion with 15.6" 1080p touchscreen, i3-1215U, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, for £429. It was about the cheapest with an acceptable CPU I could find. Then I found Chuwi and ended up with a 13.5 inch 1440p (yes 2k!!!) touchscreen Freebook. It has the same CPU, but 12GB DDR5!! and a 512GB SSD!!. With their 1st time buyer 10% discount it came out at £440. Wtf, shame on you HP, Dell, ASUS, and others. To make things worse I looked at other HP options and discovered that company charges the earth for larger RAM and SSDs, when its easier to just buy the extra and put it in yourself.
Whatever you do, do NOT buy a Chuwi anything. I bought a Chuwi Ubook X directly from Chuwi, one with 2160x1440 res. Or so I thought because when I got it the thing was a 1920x1080 Ubook. I told them this, they said to send back the wrong one and they would send the right one. I waited a few days for the tracking number for the correct tablet and now they have no idea who I am. They even gave me a fake tracking number for the keyboard and stylus I paid for but never got. Avoid Chuwi at all costs because it will cost you dearly.
Chuwi products are great, great thought into their builds
great close up hands on review. Thanks man ! 💯💥💥💥
Planning on buying this soon

How is it performing now?

@@dushyantchhetri7050 It performs very well, to be honest. It's still fast, and the battery holds up for around 6 hours
Hey, I 've got the same laptop on an eBay auction like 200 euros 🙂it is indeed a nice laptop !

@@ProstoChester Chuwi laptop also? Some say Chuwi is not durable.
@@ifacedownworship worked two years for me absolutely fine
Same as yours, mine just died now: suddenly shut down, won't turn on, charging light not lighting. 3 and a half years of very light use.
Nice one Beau! Insert all the Chewbacca memes here!
You’re just lucky I didn’t do that chewy sound on camera
You won't be so lucky though when I do the minibook review... @@TechGuyBeau

How frequently did you charge the battery? And the average usage?
Very good. I like very much about this it functions. Thanks my twin sending this information.
Is there a chance to charge it with a usb-c phone charger (eg 40w) to save weight and space while travel?
Bang for buck is definitely here 🎉🎉
I have the same model but I am having a terrible heating issue especially when it is charging.

the perfect one if they add ram Upgrade option
Can you charge with the usb C?
we can add egpu to that very accessable nvme m.2 slot? Can you do a vid about it. itll be soooo cool
Unfortunately I don’t have the laptop, I gave it to my friend who was in need of something. But it should work just fine
Hey chuwi website mention it’s 100% srgb is that true??
From what I can tell is had a large colour space such as 100% srgb. It’s a very nice screen
Does the motherboard have an empty M.2 slot?
