They’ve only had one member change, when Avi Kaplan left in 2017 and Matt Sallee joined them. I think you would really enjoy their video Pentatonix - The Recording of Evergreen. That’s the album this song is from.
@@margretrosenberg420 What I heard, from somebody in the know, is the Grammy requested the normals stuff for the song, the year it came out, but the recording company didn't get them what they needed in time. So they missed it. The next year since it technically had been nominated the year before, as far as the Grammy's were concerned, it was not eligable as a single, so SME just threw the whole albulm at them. You might like to watch the video of how they recorded this song and the others songs on their "Evergreen Christmas album", too. It really shows how they work together. It's the famous Pentatonix Wall of Sound hitting you. I see them tomorrow in concert and I am levitating with excitement. Only one member has left, Avi, and he was replaced by Matt.
This performance is just flawless...Scott's Italian, Kirstie belting, Matts bass, Kevins beat (I also love the tunk, tunk tunk towards the end) and Mitch iust being Mitch!
If you want another impressive Mitch led Christmas number then Carol of the Bells is amazing. I challenge you to work out how Mitch breathes in that, he seems to sing for over 30seconds non-stop!
So glad you did this one. They received a Grammy nomination for their album, Evergreen, that has this song on it. Unfortunately they didn’t win this time. They have three Grammys. There has only been one member change. Avi, original bass, left in 2017 and Matt Sallee joined as bass in 2018. The other four are original members. Love your reactions. Imagine, Sing (an original), Problem, Ride, We are Young, Cheerleader, or any of their “Evolution of” videos. Just pick your favorite.💕💕
@@nickforell1, not sure if you've seen a documentary type video they put out called :The Making of Evergreen. It's a 20 minute video that includes bits of their studio time in the making of the entire album...and includes bits of their work on this song, The Prayer. It's quite informative on how the group works together and acts like a family, sharing, bolstering each other, working thru tough parts, learning and rearranging bits. It's a lot of fun and quite eye-opening. I think it's time to do a reaction to it.
You are early in the dive into the rabbit hole, but since you have heard this, I think you could get a lot of insight into their dynamic by watching 'The Recording of Evergreen', the album this came from. It gives a terrific look at what their process of developing and shaping their songs as well as who they are as people. They are as 'real' as it comes. It is filmed by Kirstie's significant other, father of her baby, Ben and also shows the mostly unseen 6th member Ben Bram. He is a large part of the crafting of their art. We Pentaholics are all up for watching you watch even though it is longer than the usual reaction. Most of us have seen it many times and are happy to share it again. Enjoying your reactions!
A rite of passage for all Pentaholics is to be Mitch slapped at least once! This is such a beautiful version of this song. You put these five together and you get pure magic! Thanks Nick! You need to include Home Free in your a cappella exploration!
Usually more than one Mitch slap. I saw a reaction video the other day to PTX's version of Bohemian Rhapsody. It was the first time the reactor had ever heard Pentatonix, and that particular song contains at least 3 Mitch-slap moments, not to mention the equivalents from Avi, Kirstie, Kevin, and Scott. I think we really should introduce people to these things more gently, give them time to recover from the first before they're hit by another.
This is my number 1 favorite song of Pentatonix especially the part of Mitch. OMG as if you are in heaven when you hear this song. I love you Pentatonix especially Mitch❤
So full, so rich, so luscious. Only one change in the line-up since they formed though. Original bass Avi Kaplan left in 2017, which is when Matt Sallee joined. I keep forgetting to point this out: Mitch does a little shiver at the very beginning that really sells the wintry set. I have a feeling they were all pretty sweaty in reality. Loved your reaction, as always. Keep ‘em coming! Peace …
If you haven't listened to their Christmas live video of Hallelujah, please watch it. It shows their great talent! Unbelievable performance!! Enjoy your reactions!
GOOSEBUMPS all over with this song!! One vocal coach I watched who was reacting to this cried "Sing, my angels!!! SING!!" LOL!! That's pretty accurate! I find myself saying that every time I hear this. I also remember reading a review of this performance, where the person said when they all come together in the middle of the song to sing together, "Get ready for impact!" That's ONE way to put it! Such a beautiful cover of this song. Knew you would love it.
Love this one, definitely one of my favs. One performance that not many have reacted to is The National Anthem specifically at the 2023 CFB National Championship game. The people that were in attendance and familiar with PTX said that others around them thought they were faking it because when Mitch takes off with his high notes Kirstin is just standing there with her mouth closed and I guess it confused them? 🤷🏼♀️ I mean I kinda get it, nobody ever expects that beautiful voice to come out of Mitch, but still. And Matt with his bass is beautiful. It is all gorgeous. I showed my mother and she cried! It is really that great. T ✌🏻
The term for the big belting blend is call "the wall of sound"....PTX does it quite a bit in songs...and they do it VERY well. Glad you are on this journey.
💗💗💗 They are individually so talented, however, when put together, it is truly magical 💗💗💗 And although I love every one of the Pentatonix, Mitch has a special place in my heart, maybe because being one of the rarest of males voices, a counter tenor, feels so exquisite to my ears 💗💗💗 P.S. Don't apologize for rambling, that is why we tune in! 😊
You spoke total truth saying Mitch’s voice is angelic. It has to be the closest example to the way God’s angels sing that human ears have ever experienced! No other voice has ever touched my heart like his. When him and Kirsten sing together in this song, it is so amazing and then Mitch and Scott finish it off with harmony that is not describable at all. Of course it would not be complete without Kevin and Matt! We would absolutely notice if they were removed from the song! They all just belong together! Heavenly! ❤️
So glad you’re enjoying this PTX journey! We Pentaholics love watching new people discover them and always watch for the Mitch slap. I love so much about this song but one of my favorite parts is watching Mitch and Kirsti trade belts in the same register. Next up Gold…it will blow you away how easy they make it look. Just 5 people sitting around on a couch jamming. Or another good one is “Can you feel the love tonight “ from the Lion King.
their popspring 2016 concert, 3 original songs and a michael jackson medley done live, is only about 15 minutes but is a big fan favorite. i really like their original music. i also like happy now, their cover of mad world, la la latch..a mashup of 2 songs.
There are so many must listens for Pentatonix - Imagine, Shallow, Say Something, Come Along, Mad World, O Come All Ye Faithful, and then there is their original music. You are doing great! Just keep on going.
6:00 LOVING the stoichiometry reference! LOL. You're the first person I've ever heard combine the two things I love most in the world - Pentatonix - and Chemistry.
Hey Nick, another great reaction to PTX. I had trouble remembering Matt's name after he joined the group. I had to look up his picture with his name beside it and memorize it that way. For those who do reactions, but are bad with the names of group members, I have a suggestion. If it is a group you think you may react to more than once, it might be a good idea to print a photo of the group and write the name of each member on the photo, put it on a card, and have it in front of you each time you react to that group. Not only do you have a visual cue, but writing the names helps memory retention. Just a suggestion, so take it for what you paid for it.
I checked to see if you had seen the live performance in Singapore...Aha. Talk about a Mitch slap. And Avi's voice is so low that I don't think a cell phone can capture it. It's my favorite. I think you will be very impressed and pleased to say the least. I love them all but Mitch is my favorite. I could hear him sing all day every day!
To carry your Mitch analogy a step further…almost everyone else is doing arithmetic…Mitch is doing Quantum Physics!!! Mitch is so amazing that the other bandmates (especially Scott) admit to stopping singing in the middle of a performance and listening to Mitch…when he gets wound up, I don’t think even he knows his limits! They really are each others biggest fans!!!
Gold!Gold!Gold!Gold! Lol that's what you should watch...it is soooooooo good. Especially if you listen to the original by Kiiara. You will then truly appreciate their version even more. Also all the Evolution of Videos. My faves are, Evolution of MJ, Beyonce, Arianna Grande, and Rhianna! Also Making of Evergreen is pretty cool to watch and see the behind the scenes of how they record! Enjoy the journey!
The video, The Making of Evergreen shows their recording process and how they work together and at the end they get to hear the final product of this song and even they are impressed with their work. It's a MUST-SEE video. I loved your reaction to this. You have a very expressive face and it tells all. BTW, loved the slap (Mitch slap) on your cheek. LOL
Can't Hold Us is so much fun! If you want to see them do a mind blowing live performance, please check out their AHA Live FROM Singapore at Star Vista (has to be this specific video). It is next level Mitch!❤❤❤❤❤
Mitch has done some solo work under the name Messer. He covered a Billie Eilish sone called Your Power. He really is superb. Also, Mitch and Scott did a RUclips channel called Superfruit with songs and funny skits. Kirstie also put out solo work. Kevin, OMG he has a RUclips channel as well which will knock you out. Kevin is also a great singer. When PTX formed the planets aligned in a truly spectacular way. You have quite a way to go with PTX but it is a journey you will love.
Haven’t seen anyone request this, but, 90’s Medley is super fun and Love Again (EDM) is highly underrated. That song alone should have won them a Grammy. I believe it’s an original.
I love watching new PTX reactors. I've seen this video many times and noticed you were taking the deep breaths the same time as I do...which I do every time! Thanks!! I think you've been told this, but only one member change in the group - the bass Matt replaced Avi Kaplan in 2017.
I love Pentatonix. Been following them ever since they won their season of The Sing Off and seen them live in concert twice. If you are a fan of acapella music you need to listen to Voctave as well. They are also amazing!
Great reaction and yes a big Mitch slap. He literally reaches into your heart with his singing. It moves me so much. Also the to and from between Scott and Mitch on this one is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. If you are interested in seeing their process I would really recommend the 'Making of Evergreen' which is the album that The Prayer is on. It's a fascinating look at how they bring everything together.
Mitch’s crystal clear countertenor voice is so beautiful, my appreciation for his voice triggered recommendations for me to listen to Dimash. Run To You is an original of theirs, composed by Avi and Kevin, it’s a love story that comes to an end due to the passing of one of the couples members and the other pretty much asking to go to heaven with their love, so emotional and beautiful, of course sad, that would be a great introduction to their original music. Thank you for sharing your thoughts Nick, this is a beautiful rendition of this song, probably my favorite ❤.
I think you would enjoy watching "The recording of Evergreen" which is a documentary (sort of) showing them recording the album this song is on. My favorite part is when they are listening to the recording of the Prayer and Kirstin tears up, and , "It's so pretty!" like she's surprised at how good they are!
There is a behind the scenes recording of Evergreen album and towards the end the group is listening the final version of the Prayer and it is fun to see how much they are taken by how beautiful it is. Mitch is in the back on his phone just nonchalantly saying thanks. Only one member change . Avi the bass left and Matt the bass took his place. At some point in every PTX fan’s journey you have to watch their performances on the sing off to understand where they came from. And if you’ve not heard about it, Scott and Mitch had a side project called Superfruit. Another fun rabbit hole.
Scott’s voice is my favorite!! 🔥 I could listen to him all day long, and I have. 😂 Don’t worry, trying to explain Pentatonix makes you make up words! Lol
There is a "Behind the Scenes" video if it doesn't spoil the magic for you. Kirstin talks about bringing the Great Outdoors inside the sound stage and Kevin said there was too much snow on his face the first time. You also notice to the right as the spot light is rolled behind them. Mitch's birthday was a few days ago (31) and Scott got married early July and Kirstin's baby girl just had her 1st birthday the end of June. Kevin's daughter's birthday is in April. I don't give specifics for their privacy, but just because they are not on tour -- they are busy.
There is a trio of a cappella groups that seem to get a lot of attention. You've discovered Pentatonix and Voiceplay. Home Free is another rabbit hole to explore. They won the Sing Off the season after Pentatonix won. If you decide to react to them, It seems "Man of Constant Sorrow" is the most popular. My favorite is American Pie featuring Don McLean and The Butts Remix featuring, well, you know... The Home Free group would be a bunch of guys you would like to hang out at a bar with and down a few beers.
There are the 3 big acapella groups that you need to check out as they are all very different. An apt analogy is the high school one, PTX is the student council, Voiceplay is the theatre department and Home Free are the cool guys you just love hanging out with. They're all spectacular in their own ways,
Nick, I thoroughly appreciate and enjoy your reactions. I believe you are definitely a Pentaholic now. You asked what you were most impressed by: vocals, harmonies, their synergy and their dynamics together….ALL OF THEM! I am going to their concert in Tampa, FL on Thursday August 10th. I am soooo EXCITED 😊
I love being a part of your journey. I would love to see your reaction to Imagine! The song is gorgeous and the message so strong. Whatever you choose, it will be a great one!
Welcome to the family of Pentaholix! There are a few songs that really show who they are, there’s this one, Sound of Silence, and Amazing Grace. The early stage while Avi was still with them include, Love Again, Can’t Hold Us, Mary did You Know, along with Say Something and Daft Punk Medley. The problem for the Pentaholc is, we just love hearing them, no matter who’s singing bass, whether or not they use instruments, or if it’s a Christmas song or a pop cover. We’re along for the ride. Don’t stress there isn’t a bad choice.
I’ve been enjoying your PTX reactions. I found your channel through your Ren reactions-which I also love. I really love that you turn the volume of the video you’re watching up. I know that’s a small thing to some, but I love to turn the music up loud and people who don’t can turn it down.
Came for Bo, so happy to see you diving into PTX! The fanbase is rabidly nerdy but come in such good faith- please try to interpret corrections as helpful even though they can be like a tsunami- people are just psyched to share their knowledge! As for recommendations, you can't go wrong. I enjoy it when people react to two versions of a song. Like, the original of Gold vs the PTX version, or the PTX official video of Aha! vs the Aha! Live in Singapore video. Also, since you've already watched the official video for Hallelujah, the live Hallelujah from the Christmas Special is a great way to see how close they are live to recording. I second other recommendations to react to the Making of Evergreen as well. PTX are endlessly flawless. As for members of PTX doing other things, I recommend Home Free ft Avi doing Ring of Fire, KO Down, Avi Kaplan Change on the Rise, and Superfruit GUY.exe. I'll provide links in a reply here.

Mitch is unquestionably one of the best singers in this group, but Scott will never fail to surprise you if you’re paying attention. He sang this beautiful bel canto section in flawless Italian. He’s rapped in French. He’s sung in Japanese. Whenever the group’s bass takes the lead, they don’t double track him for the bass line. Scott takes that over. He can also belt convincingly in tenor range, and he has a lovely falsetto. He’s such a well-rounded musical talent, and a great guy.
A great and fantastic reaction . Cannot get enough of your pentatonix reactions . You should check out their original “run to you “ and “ can’t help falling in love “
As I said elsewhere, PTX is the best example ever, of people following their hearts and finding their true soul's purpose!! I think that's why they create magic!! 😊❤ Suggestions; an original of their's "Sing", their cover of RADIOACTIVE with Lindsey Sterling violinist/dancer. You get to see Kevin "cello-boxing" he's just insanely talented!! You also should see, "Daft Punk Medley" earned them their first Grammy!! The Sound of Silence is frickin awesome!! I also think that Bohemian Rhapsody will blow your mind!! I could go on and on their catalog is HUGE! I'm sure other Pentaholics will have many more to suggest! 😊
IMHO this rates right at the top of their achievements. A very close second is their rendition of Say Something. The sheer talent on display here is mindboggling. And that applies to the actual production as well. Have a look at some of their originals as well, particularly Love Again, Prayers for this World, Sing and Run to you.
I know you are a new PTX watcher but only one person has left the group - AVI. He was replaced by Matt. I get goose bumps every time I hear them sing most of their songs. Can you imagine what their high school music teacher must have felt having Scott, Mitch and Kirsten in her vocal music class?!?
Avi Kaplan is the only member of Pentatonix that has left. Matt is the only new guy who joined in 2017. Scott, Mitch , Kirsten and Kevin are all originals.
Kirsten , Mitch, and Scott were all on an episode of the TV show Bones. That is the first time I saw anyone from Pentatonix and I had find out more about them. Glad I did.
YEAAAAAAAAA !!! Thankyou, thank you, thank you for doing this one. It always leaves me feeling hopeful. This one brings tears to my eyes all the time. They put so much feeling in all they do, but this one hits home for me. You should probably check out some of their Christmas songs. One of the first ones I ever heard was "Little Drummer Boy", "Mary Did You Know" and "Carol of the Bells", which you will notice that Mitch doesn't seem to breath for minutes at a time. It's unreal !! And yes you are right about their catalogue of songs is EPIC ! BTW, your forgiven on the name thing, AND you are now an official Pentaholic !! Welcome to the PTX rabbit hole !!🤣🤣👏👏👏👏
This is the song that turned me into an instant Pentaholic after not hearing them since their first YT viral vid, Somebody I Used to Know, years ago. I listened to this at least 20 times in a row when it came out in Oct. 2021, and have listened to them daily since then. Must listens: Amazing Grace, Can’t Hold Us, Evolution of Michael Jackson, Gold, Love Again (original), Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Mitch’s solo cover of Your Power (Billie Eilish), Mad World, Joyful Joyful (live from the Evergreen Experience)….. and about 300 more. 😊
I don't know which is better, Mitch or Scott, but both are clsssical. Together, Pentatonix is a well oiled machine. Glad you liked this one! For PTX you need to check out "the making of Evergreen video, which dives headlong into their creative process, especislly focusing on The Prayer. It will explain a lot...
I just saw them love 2 days ago. They are even more amazing in person and sounds so much like these videos. My new favorite of theirs is Creep… unbelievable remake.. or as I call them, upgrade!!
Among the many many things that make PTX extraordinary is the personal chemistry; the core three have been singing together from the age of 9 or 10 and are best friends; Kevin, Avi and now Matt have fit in amazingly. It is the friendship and trust between them all that has allowed them to be so unselfish in their arrangements; the right voice for each part gets the part. The chemistry in the group is why twelve years has seen only one change in the lineup (and that for compelling family reasons). They all share a fanatic devotion to excellence that literally oozes through every aspect of what they do. Videos are always simple, focused to contribute to the song, creative, first class. It's not accident that they are so good, and their amazing talent carries it all but PTX is much more than just good singers as you have observed. FWIW Kevin probably has the most talent in the group which you can see when he does a solo cover of Down.(PTX did a guest shot on a Chinese singing competition and while being interviewed Kevin just started answering in fluid Mandarin -- he was an exchange student in China). And I think this number shows Mitch (who was bullied as a kid for his voice) has the best voice among five world class singers. But each brings something special and that is why there is only one PTX.
I have been a HUGE fan of Pentatonix from the very beginning when they won The Sing-Off! I think that was in 2011 or 2012--check out those performances on RUclips--everything they do is wonderful! I'm glad you found them, and I'm really enjoying your reactions to them.
Scott & Mitch & Kirstin have been singing together since they were in school. And I miss Avi, but I think Matt is also amazing & I like this one because Kevin also sings. He does their percussion, but he also sings like an angel. My favorite is 'Mary did you know?' & Kevin sings in that one too. 'Havana' is awesome too. Love the salsa style, if that's what it's called. LOL They also have tons of medleys, for like '90's dance songs' or 'Michael Jackson' or other genres or artists. The medleys blow my mind.
Nick, another sincere and entertaining reaction. I appreciate your honest insights without falling on the floor or screaming into your mic. When we watch your reactions, what we've come to expect is an honest, inciteful, reaction that solidifies our love and appreciation for Pentatonix. I've requested this before, but please react to "Gold". It will show you the basis of Pentatonix's talent because it's a performance where all of them are on the screen the entire song, so you truly understand the myriad of talents and arrangement. I think you'll slap yourself again . . . an amazing performance.
Great reaction to this beautiful Pentatonix video. Thank you. Glad that you liked it. Scott would be happy that you thought that he did well with his Italian pronunciations. Everything about Pentatonix is impressive, IMO. There has only been one member change in their 12-year history. Bass, Avi, left in 2017. Matt became their bass in 2017. All of the other 4 are original members.
I always enjoy your videos and look forward to more - Truth is, Pentatonix don't do covers, they do upgrades - For something a little different, try their upgrades of Kiiara's "Gold" or Ariana Grande's "Problem" - Their range is amazing -- Honest, this bunch can sing anything - C
The original trio was Scott, Mitch, and Kirsty, during high school. After high school, they decided to enter The Sing Off, a televised competition of Acapella groups. But the minimum number of people per group was 5. So they invited Avi as base, who was recommended by a friend. Scott found Kevin online in a RUclips video, beatboxing while playing cello, and invited him. They just fit perfectly. You can find the Sing Off videos on here and well worth it to see how far they've come. The only replacement has been Matt, when Avi left. And he fits well too. Enjoy the journey.
Mitch Grassi doesn’t just sing, he slays. Every. Single. Time.
I wish this single song had been nominated for a Grammy instead of the whole album. It would have won for sure.
Agreed
It deserves one

As much as we all love Mitchs high notes, hia lower register in "Amazing Grace" is just stunning!
Yesssss his lower register is so beautiful too. And Kirstin absolutely KILLS IT on her verse in amazing grace. Highly recommend
@AmandaSmith-zr8mn absolutely! Not to mention the "Kevin slap", and beautiful opening
His lower register is most prominent in Take On Me… when reactors realize its Mitch doing the high and low parts it’s pretty epic.
Recommend their version of Amazing Grace.
@@melissacoviello2886I totally agree!! This song is a different kind of Mitch slap!!

“Mary did you know” is another moving one to watch
And Mitch's favorite.
The term for the big belting blend is call "the wall of sound"....PTX does it quite a bit in songs...and they do it VERY well. Glad you are on this journey.
The "wall of sound" in "Imagine" is a whole other level. It leaves most reactors speechless
ruclips.net/video/AM-8h65fujY/видео.html
Came here to say this. The imagine wall of sounds punches you right in the feels
Mitch’s voice always brings me to tears, Angelic is the right word.
❤ Gold
When I hear this rendition, I. Stop. Breathing. Everytime.
Just one person left - Avi. And Kristie, Mitch and Scott have been friends since they were around 10. Sang in high school together.
LOL
❤❤❤
Those goosebumps keep expanding every time I hear them sing this song. Unreal.
Saw them in concert! They are ahhhhmazing!
Can't Hold Us is so much fun! If you want to see them do a mind blowing live performance, please check out their AHA Live FROM Singapore at Star Vista (has to be this specific video). It is next level Mitch!❤❤❤❤❤
Singapore was a mitch show lol
It is also next level Avi.
@@carolhartman727 OMG yes!
I agree...Avi could have blown a speaker and Mitch could have shattered glass
Oh yes! It’s truly an amazing performance
Pentatonics makes me get goose bumps, and tears with SO many songs. They never disappoint ! Love them !
Please check out their "Gold" cover of Kiiara.....it is done live and I believe in 1 take...so, so good....watch out for the Mitch slap!
Suggestions - Can you Feel the Love Tonight, Happy Now, Havana, Be My Eyes, My Heart With You, - so many more.
Unique? One of a kind? That's Mitch❤❤. This group is just amazing. Thank you
Couldn't agree more!
Just saw PTX in concert Thurs. they are every bit as flawless live. ❤
Need to watch their Christmas song, "Mary did you know?" Talk about shivers & goosebumps. It my favorite of theirs.
I think you would enjoy watching "The recording of Evergreen" which is a documentary (sort of) showing them recording the album this song is on. My favorite part is when they are listening to the recording of the Prayer and Kirstin tears up, and , "It's so pretty!" like she's surprised at how good they are!
You know a group is good, when you still get goosebumps every time you hear their ballads. I’m so glad you found them too!
A wonderful punch to the gut! They are indescribably talented!
Scott’s voice is my favorite!! 🔥
I could listen to him all day long, and I have. 😂
Don’t worry, trying to explain Pentatonix makes you make up words! Lol
Haha exactly!
Thanks, Nick; you’re on the right path, so many songs to listen to and actually this is probably my favorite
So happy you picked this one. It is so lovely like a religious experience. And Mitch.....no words.
Yeah it’s pretty bewildering how good this is
❤
If you want a 180 degree change you should do CAN'T HOLD US next. That will take you from this angelic song to a fun rap song!
Speaking of a religious experience, their version of Amazing Grace is phenomenal and gives me chills.
When they sing that chord when they sing 'Sky' just sounds like a pipe organ with all the stops open. Just astounding.
Haha well said!

Their rendition of Amazing Grace is other worldly! Beyond beautiful in every sense!
Voiceplay. Tomorrow, Friday. Drunken Sailor. Noon est.
Just 6 sailors drinking, singing and having a good time. So much fun.
Avi is the only member who has left in 2017. Matt joined after Avi left. Anything they do you will love!
ruclips.net/video/AM-8h65fujY/видео.html
He's already done Daft Punk and Bohemian Rhapsody. 🙂 They were his 2nd and 3rd reactions after starting with Hallelujah .
IMHO this rates right at the top of their achievements. A very close second is their rendition of Say Something. The sheer talent on display here is mindboggling. And that applies to the actual production as well. Have a look at some of their originals as well, particularly Love Again, Prayers for this World, Sing and Run to you.
Completely agree. So incredibly amazing
I know you are a new PTX watcher but only one person has left the group - AVI. He was replaced by Matt. I get goose bumps every time I hear them sing most of their songs. Can you imagine what their high school music teacher must have felt having Scott, Mitch and Kirsten in her vocal music class?!?
I can’t imagine. I bet she/ he is so proud
Avi Kaplan is the only member of Pentatonix that has left. Matt is the only new guy who joined in 2017.
Scott, Mitch , Kirsten and Kevin are all originals.
There are no words. These voices are the most amazing gifts. They make it look easy but you know it's not. Please keep music coming, @Pentatonix!
There's something about their harmonic vibrations that gets to the bones and innards. Shakes me up in a good way.
Pretty epic!
Amazing as they are - they are insanely awesome in LIVE !!
Their Christmas album is amazing! Hallelujah is worth watching and hearing over and over! They are all so talented!!!
The Pentatonix wall of sound is unrivaled
I have loved pentatonix when I first heard them on the sing off. I love everything that they perform
The world needs more Baritone Scott.....Italian or not.
This group is a charshed gift. They're all so talented.😍💖🫶🌹
Thank you Ron that means so so much
Great reaction to this beautiful Pentatonix video.
Thanks again! I’m sure Italians forgive him quickly
Pentatonics is all you need to listen to because they're hands down the best in my opinion!!
If you loved this, I recommend their song “Thank You”! It’s an original that Scott wrote about his (now) husband Mark!
Another song is a Billly Ellish cover Mitch did solo on you tube I believe it’s called “Your Power” INCREDIBLE
Mitch is a counter-tenor and sings 6 octaves higher than most people worldwide.
They sing this song beautifully!! One of my favorites of theirs!! PTX is so amazing and I love 💕 them all!!
