Definitely you can feel some Weeknd vibes in this song, that was the first thing I thought about when I heard it. Bad Omens can play vast variety of music and they know how to successfully blend other influences into their sound. I love this band 🖤

I love harder songs from Bad Omens tbh but this one has been on repeat for the past week because it just makes my brain slow down a bit and it’s just such a fit for gloomy fall vibe
Honestly this recent album is all about the versatility - you got all kinds of songs from bad decisions to artificial suicide and like a villain perfectly in between

I’ve never heard of this band before today. Enjoyed this song so I just went through all your bad omen reactions and loved most of them! Definitely adding a few of their songs to my playlist
Surprisingly, 'bad decisions' was the first song I heard by Bad Omens (mid or late 2022) and it was in my Metal Mix or something, on Spotify. I loved it instantly (I was a pop-head before I became a metalhead). But I was wondering why it was in my METAL mix, I found that weird, since it's R&B and has nothing to do with metal or hard rock.
Then I heard Kingdom Of Cards (which you MUST listen to). I didn't recognize the band - neither the voice, nor the production. I saw the name "Bad Omens" and I remembered it from "bad decisions" but I thought they had a different vocalist there. Or that they were 3 vocalists, since it was completely different.
Then one day (January 2023) I decided to listen to the whole THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND album, I think I heard the title track before that, that made me wanna hear the whole album. I don't use TikTok, so I never knew Just Pretend or the trends there. So when I heard the album, I got hooked to it, couldn't listen to anything else for weeks! Then, I listened to their other albums.
And now, I love the first 2 albums so much, and I'm currently obsessed with Bad Omens' old live performances like Sumerian 10 years in the Black tour, 2016 at The Canal (I think that was their first ever appearance); Full Force festival 2019; Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA 2019; Blood/Malice live in Austin, Texas 2020, and others 🔥
And 'Novocaine' that Too Close To Touch recently released, where Noah wrote the bridge, which is so emotional, and it's for Keaton (Too Close To Touch) who passed away in 2022 and was a best friend of Noah's. Listen to it if you haven't.
As well as Sympathy (the live version of Noah singing with the Too Close To Touch musicians and they have Keaton in the choruses 😭) if you haven't already.

Another recommendation for you: Check out Oceans! They just had a tour in Germany as support for Blind Channel and they absolutely killed it. Great band, awesome sound, amazing lyrics. My personal favorite is "Shark Tooth" - maybe you can give the guys a try someday. 🖤🤘🏻
Bad Omens and Spiritbox are my two favorite bands atm and listen to every day! just saw bad omens last month too they put on a sick show! now I just gotta see spiritbox..

First time i heard this music, it was a bad decision. But now, all i know is that is one my favorite songs from them. The next one, you must listen Dark Sings from Sleep Token

When you get to listening through the album in its full flow, I feel it veeerry much makes sense the way it is, where it is! Must be hard not straight Rabbit Holing albums haha

I feel like at this point, you should just slowly react to the entire TDOPOM album 🤷🏻♀️ There’s only 1 more music video (which is “Nowhere to Go”) and then a handful more songs from the album (without music videos).
A few other people have suggested “Limits” which is from their last album. Def recommend that and “Careful What You Wish For” & “Mercy”

@@SeanStaxxMusic Hell yeah! 🤘🏻 I’ll be here for it! I would be very curious to eventually see/hear your opinion on their first album. A lot of people throw shade at the band because they sounded too much like Bring Me The Horizon but lyrically, that album is gut wrenchingly angry and deep. Either way, looking forward to more reactions ☺️
Please do Limits and Never Know .. they have more radio friendly songs .. the oldest stuff isn’t as good .. Noah has definitely learned to sing much better over time (just like Ollie from BMTH)

Dude check out a metal band called "whilst she sleeps" think they would be right up your alley....I'd recommend four walls, silence speaks or hurricane...deffo four walls is priority tho!
