Some of these gyros are strange with any trim input. I mechanically trimmed mine. I also found issues when changing gyro modes if there was any trim input. Some gyros also act strange until there is throttle input.
@@GroundControlRC sure I tried it now but it doesn't seem to work, as I have a Volantex corsair and the reset works the same way but on the J35 it does seem to do anything. Unfortunately my motor stopped working (jitters when throttle is pushed) as well so I order another 35mm EDF with a ECS. Plugged all the stuff in but no movement on the motor unfortunately. Have you noticed the elevators move up when throttle is applied, I think that might also cause the high alpha
@@jtpienaar5719 I noticed the control surfaces moving erratically when on the ground which reminded me of the gyro in the FlyBear SBACH 342. I don't think it's doing that in flight as my nose ballast weight added a lot of stability. I think it's fairly tail heavy.
Here is a Money Saving Coupon Code for this Beginner EDF Jet: BG266eb0
Cool EDF mini Jet 👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
I was surprised how stable it was once it was tuned.
4:42 yep.
One wild ride ;-)
5:53 yep...stress free 😂😊😂😊😂
Yes, I had a nice relaxing flight with this one ;-)
Thanks for sharing,❤😊
;-)
Sometimes u need a dime or a nickle...it worked
Yes, 5g of nose ballast weight and it was nice and stable.
Love it.
Thank You!
Love it! Has anyone figured out the OPEN TX radio protocol for it yet so we can fly with our own transmitter?
Protocol FX | Sub-Protocol 9630
Hi. I hope you can help me.
With the battery installed the left elevator drops
The trim doesn't seem to help.
Is there a fix ?

Good day,
How did you calibrate the gyro as mentioned din the video?
I held both stick at the bottom outer corners for several seconds.
@@GroundControlRC Thanks, and doing this before any throttle input correct?
@@jtpienaar5719 Yes, that the way I did it.

Bonjour
Comment se calibre le gyroscope sur cet avion?
Merci
They don't specify but usually you calibrate these gyros by holding both sticks to the bottom outer corners for more than 3 seconds.
@@GroundControlRC OK, merci.
En effet, je connais la manipulation mais je n'avais rien lu de tel dans la notice.
Good idea of adding the nose weight.. Saw it porpoising before that. Flies great now..
Hey it landed on it's wheels. That a good landing for me.
Thanks!
Seems I have to put nose or tail weight on a lot of these planes.
I think it' going to be pretty fun going forward.
Hello sir. What size is the edf unit and size of the esc, how many amps handles?! ❤Cheers
The specs do not state the size of the ESC or the EDF Unit. The EDF Unit appears to be 40mm.
HOWEVER IT IS WORKING STILL
Fun little Jet!
Will it opentx
The FX9630 protocol allowed me to bind up with my TX16S (OpenTX)
after putting nose weight, It fly much better. it make me want to buy one....
Yes, it's actually flying really well now.
In the next flight it's nearly tuned and flying nice ;-)
@@GroundControlRC yup it can be seen on the video. Even it is only a quick fix already show a lot of improvement. looking foward on the update.
Do NOT ADD WEIGHT JUST REMOVE FRONT BATTERY WALL ITS HOLLOW IN COCK PIT SLID BATTERY FORWORD
Yep, I did that as well...after the conversion.
