Fantastic video. I really appreciate that you don't use disgraceful name the CZECHIA,but correct name :Czech Republic. Thanks for your amazing video. It's a very unique and respectful. You showed Ostrava Main Railway station from a different and deep perspective.
Thank you so much for the very kind comment. I really like Ostrava hl.n. so it was a pleasure to make part of the video about the station! With regards to the Czechia vs Czech Republic thing, I must say that I do sometimes use "Czechia" and I am genuinely unaware of any feelings for or against the two uses. Therefore, please accept my apologies when I use Czechia elsewhere! Thanks for watching and commenting, I really do appreciate you taking the time. My next video out will be the ride from Prague to Poprad, so I hope you've subscribed and will be around to watch that one 👍
OK - I've done a bit of Googling and I understand better why Czechia/Česko could annoy local people. My apologies again if the videos I have already uploaded (including the new one) use the term. From now on I'll stick to "Czech Republic".
@@JohnnyHooverTravels You don't have to apologize. Unfortunately the name CZECHIA has been widely used in recent years. Czechia? It seems to me that we are just some kind of Russian province. The Czech Republic on the other hand, is a sovereign, democratic, independent,pro- Western state, mad up of three regions (Bohemia, Moravia,Silesia) You traveled by train from the capital of Silesia to the capital of Bohemia. To the capital of the Czech Republic. :-)
Just a note. Leoexpress bases their pricing depending on how long you book in advance and how many seats are booked already. I managed to get it for 749 for next week (since all 6 seats were empty). After my booking the price went to 929 right away and I have seen it go up to 1800
Bargain! Where to start? Really good video: the sort i would make if i knew how and was in a good mood. Did I really travel on this train from Norwich to Liverpool St? Being grumpy; I got proper plates on LNER up to Edinburgh. Had my hair cut in Glasgow by a Czech girl yesterday. I mentioned you but can't promise she will subscribe.
Yes. I suppose if we were being grumpy we could query the lack of crockery (or some kind of wine glass), but all in all it is a fantastic deal and a real bit of affordable luxury if you plan ahead.
What a fantastic deal at a fantastic price! I can't believe!
Thank you for this movie!
Yes. A very good deal indeed. There are lots of good deals to be had between Ostrava and Praha
👍
That's pretty good value for money, I must try it next time i'm going that way
Yes you should! Beware that prices do fluctuate on Leo, so booking in advance is my recommendation.
@@JohnnyHooverTravels I will take that into consideration when i'm planning my trip, thank you for pointing that out 😀
