Why is this about females...why not focus on merit and science

Could CRISPR be used to scramble not repairing the mitochondrial DNA of cancer cells to cure cancer? Essentially starving the cancer cell.

Can CRISPR replace a gene in every cell in the body? My partner has Elhers-Danlos Syndrome and it is so frustrating to see how such a small fault in a single gene throughout his body could cause so much trouble. I want to support this research in anyway I can.

Why are they talking about women in science and a diverse team, who cares this is scientific advancement we should care about merit and who can do the best in moving this tech foreword regardless of whatever is outside. I came here to learn about the future of CRISPR's not a lecture at a liberal arts college.

The moment Jennifer mentioned the word "women", I felt the urge to take all my money out of her company and put it into David's company. Lady, I admire your work but don't incite sexism. It was totally inappropriate.
