There is a LOT of hidden lore in Babylon 5 ships, I wrote the design history of the various Earth descended forces and the Minbari for one of the licensed products, because the contract required continuity. Sadly, my notes didn’t survive computer crashes over the years. I blame Zathras, of course.
In a previous episode, Londo referred to his three wives as "Famine, Pestilence, and Death"--a reference to three of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Peter David, who wrote this episode, said that Timov is Famine, Daggair is Pestilence, and Mariel is Death. Also, as a couple other people have pointed out, Timov spelled backwards is...
Delenn doesnt know what's going on and didn't want to embarrass herself to a hairstylist. Now that Ivanova has explained, I'm sure Delenn will go to a stylist trusted for diplomats.
The reason this show holds up today, despite the dated effects is the amazing acting that all of the actors are capable of. Peter Jurasik and Andreas Katsulas have a lion's share of the accolades from fans, but all the actors do a great job, the villains in particular, making people hate them so much is amazing.
In this episode of Londo's Three Wives...Vir gets dressed down, while Londo completely forgets about their arrival on the station. Much hilarity ensues. Muahahaha 😆
Londo and the Three Furies... - gorgeous episode! Delenn is clearly still getting to know her new physiology! that dirty, disheveled hair... I would have died laughing!! 😂
Timov is brilliant. I love that last scene with her and Londo, the little smile on her face as she leaves....Londo admitting to her that he trusts her and has some feeling for her, because she never messes him around and he always knows where he stands with her. It's such a good scene.
I saw your live stream of this and I'm watching again. Urging others to watch, like and help the YT algorithm. R. Knights & Babylon 5! Let's Go! Peter Jurasik and Andreas Katsulas do tend to steal the scenes they are in. Great characters! Great actors!
Ah Psi Corps and their breeding plans. And then the black uniforms...I wonder who they got that idea from. Also how Stoner left the Corps? With his looks by sleeping himself out...or threatening to sleep with the officials should they refuse 😂
A couple of fun bits from this episode - "I am Timov, daughter of Al Guhl" Timov is vomit spelled backwards. Al Guhl is a arabic term for demons- In comics (well known to Peter David and JMS) Al Guhl is the "head demon". Essentially this means Londo is married to the daughter of the devil himself. Only was able to catch the first hour or so of the live watch, so don't know how far you went. All I will say right now is, it will be interesting to see how your opinion of Londo & G'kar will change very soon And about some of your other theories - well , your right, and you're wrong. Some youll see fairly quickly, some wont be clear for quite awhile yet ....
Stoner is a very annoying character, but he does have a couple of very good lines. And Londo's wives are amazing, especially Timov. And you know what's the funniest thing about this episode? Apparently many rank it among the worst episodes of B5. I enjoy it. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's fun. And I'm all for that.
@@RKnights i think it was a good idea using the list that you guys had, i just wanted to be able to check it and i forgot what episode you had previously posted it on.
I think you mean Centauri. The marriage between Londo and Timov was an arranged marriage, so no love lost there, so not surprising he wasn't conversant with her blood type.
@@roystoyscomics1361 alien species names in shows are an old problem. Is Molari's world from the Centauri constellation? Is that the only one with recognizable name? If so, why?
Centauri Prime is the name of the Centauri homeworld. Constellations have nothing to do with it. If you Google Babylon 5 Races they list: Narn, Centauri, Minbari, Human, Vorlon, Drazi, etc. 😊

"When I see Londo and G'Kar together, when they are onscreen together, it makes me happy": We can all toast that sentiment.
Londo and G'Kar is not always laughs. But it is _always, _*_always,_* top-tier, memorable scenes. More I cannot say.
Timov is such a fantastic character.
The salesman who bouhht and sold the statue was Lurch in the Addams Family movies, Mister Homm on TNG and was one of the aliens in Men in Black.
Mr. Homm on TNG. Mrs. Troi’s valet. Mr. Mott was the blue skinned barber 😊
Homn
Played by Carel Struycken
My 3 wives: Famine, Pehstilents. And Deaath.
Gotta write it phonetically how Londo says it.
Funnily (or tragically) that's only three of the four horsemen, with Londo being "War".

Zathras is innocent! But Zathras knows that Zathras did it!
Londo's wives are an interesting insight into Centauri culture.
In a previous episode, Londo referred to his three wives as "Famine, Pestilence, and Death"--a reference to three of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Also that makes Londo to be War. Which is accurate.
Pretty sure the 3 ladies in the picture showed Vir weren't the same actresses in this episode. Oh well, B5 playing loose with casting is a thing.
Delenn doesnt know what's going on and didn't want to embarrass herself to a hairstylist. Now that Ivanova has explained, I'm sure Delenn will go to a stylist trusted for diplomats.
Related note: the US congress has their own (free) barber.
Especially after Ivanova dealt with the worst, her line about trusting her was so sweet and I can see how Ivanova could not let her down then.
This is a favorite just because of the fun in the episode. Londo and G'kar are the best odd couple

They heavily implied that J'Kar slept with Londo's wife after she tried to kill Londo.
And not for the first time ;)
This is a fun episode; 'humanizes' Londo in some ways and provides more character progression all round.
Great reactions for a great episode. The Londo storyline was funny and enjoyable.
The Delenn/Susan storyline was also very fun and enjoyable.
Claudia and Mira loved those scenes. As they said, "We got to be women."
In this episode of Londo's Three Wives...Vir gets dressed down, while Londo completely forgets about their arrival on the station. Much hilarity ensues. Muahahaha 😆

Harcourt Fenten Mudd have you been drinking again -- oops wrong series .
The man who played Stoner was also Holtz the Vampire Hunter on the Angel series.

It’s refreshing listening to your reactions and theories even knowing what’s going to happen. It gives the show a new life for me.

This one of my favorite episodes, thanks for the react.
Yeah, that is Lurch. Also Mr. Homm from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and lots of other roles in genre fiction. Carel Struycken is the actor's name.
There are so many familiar faces in B5 it's great
Oh, I've been waiting for this one. 😀Several classic moments, and some interesting questions opened.
Yes, Ray, it was Lurch from The Addams Family that you spotted. 👍
Oh cool!
He was also Luxwana Troi's servant on Star Trek TNG

Yeah the trader was Lurch, also Mr Homn Deanna Troi's mom's assistant in Star Trek the next generation.
One of my favourite episodes
Have to re watch sometime (it took me a week the first time)
Huge congrats on 10k!!!

I think it is a very solid S2 episode. It is very entertaining.
Timov = vomit backwards
Yeah, the actress didn't much care for that when pointed out.
God, I love this episode!
This is one of my top ten favorite episodes.
This is a fun one, with some nice surprises in it....
Ladies Please... continue!!!
Fun fact Timov is Vomit spelled backwards
Love this episode!
Talia's ex-husband is such a sleazeball.

Delenn is a half-elf.
