Tall my Dad is 80 yrs old on still riding 2 wheels. I cherish every mile on the road we get.
I’m 73, still riding. Looking forward to Smokey Mountain Bike Week with my friends. You’re so very fortunate to still have your dad to ride with. Really enjoy your videos, hope he enjoys his trike.
What gave me the inspiration to ride two wheels was a 88 year old man that didn’t start riding until he was 66. I decided that day I was going to work my way up to a touring bike.
You're blessed with a GEAT dad! Enjoy your time with him. My dad went home to be with the Lord 4 years ago and I miss him dearly
It's really cool to see DAD ! LOOKING SO GOOD 👍👍👍 .
STILL ON HIS RIDE, WOW I'M 75 ON 8/24
AND WISHING I WAS RIDE IN AND RIDING WITH MY SON , WE TALK ABOUT IT THAT WE NEVER GOT TO RIDE TOGETER.
I GOT REAL SICK YRS AGO AND STILL AM .
He just got back from Sturgis.
He loved the ride with 2 brothers . We live by Allentown Pennsylvania
Long nice ride He was all over out there .
Thank God he got to ride his Ultra Harley
That far .
He goes to Ohio last few yrs to see friends that ride togeter .they all when to Sturgis together.
God blessed him on a safe trip 🙏🏻.
So love to see dad and you get to ride together ❤️.
Met a 81 yrs old riding a yamaha Silverado. A little trouble lifting off the kickstand but he got it. Inspired me to many more years of riding.
So amazing seeing u travel the country on a motorcycle with your Dad! That's powerful man!!😢❤❤❤
Happy Born Day to your Pops! Keep on RIDIN!!
Wow!! He looks fantastic! Wonderful he still enjoys riding. Such a blessing! God has been truly good to him. Praise God!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾 HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPS!!
Tall, Bobby here I enjoy talking to you at bootlegger
Tell your DAD HAPPY Birthday ,Brother keep on keeping on 😊😊😊
I wish I had a family like yours who did things like this. My mom was totally against me riding. I decided that I was getting my first bike after a life changing event happened to me. I told my mom that I rather die going way too fast having fun than to let some random fool take me out. And it was the same week I had become a father. That was 27 years ago. I still ride till this date. I’ve had 2 bikes, a sport bike and now a cruiser.
Never. I just got back on the bike at 61 after 15 yrs layoff. Dealt with cancer now I’m back
👊👊
Nice job on the video, Sir! I'm 67 and in Colorado now with my son. He and I put 14,000 miles on our Ultra's last year, rode to Sturgis from western CO this year, heading to Bonneville Salt Flats tomorrow to hopefully watch a great friend break a land speed record. I never had the opportunity to ride with my Dad and I know you are enjoying every minute with him, as I am with my son! Do anything you can to spend every minute you csn with him!
Again, great job! Ride Safe!

Good for your dad to be able to keep riding. Fantastic. Good memories that will last for ever. I would have loved to ride with my dad but unfortunately was able to. So cherish the moments. Happy birthday to your dad🎉. Terry from Canada 🇨🇦
This is what I long for with my family. Is that we can all ride together and share the road together as we all grow older you know. Wind therapy is great. I believe it can be for everyone. Its truly peaceful. Its where I find the Lord sometimes riding alone somewhere. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Pops. Godbless you sir.
May God continue to bless you with many more wonderful birthdays! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR JK!!!
This video was therapy.
Happy Birthday Talls Dad. Hope the Lord Blesses you with many many more. And keep gliding.
80 in October, still on 2, 12,000 miles per year, I don’t tour, day rides100 to 300 miles a day. We are blessed here in East Tennessee with great roads and I plan to ride them as long as possible. DW
Happy Birthday to your dad. May he have many many more. He still looks young for his age.🎈🎉🎈🎉🎂🎂
Only thing I miss is push steering when i moved to a tri glide. Happy 80th dad!
Great topic! Father Time catches up with everyone, but some sooner than others. I think the answer is on a case-by-case basis.
I am Navy vet, been riding since I was 4 on 2 wheels but knee and back problems have caught up to me. I ride a TriGlide and never been happier. I won't stop riding until the day I can't.
That was a really cool video. I love how it’s a family affair. Tell your old man Happy Birthday!!
Happy Birthday to your Dad!!!
No matter at what age if you have lost dexterity, reflexes and have a lot of trouble steadying and getting a 700-1000 lb motorcycle off the kickstand and also have trouble getting yourself out precarious situations when riding that’s when you know it’s time to hang up the helmet.
72 years old and had to trike our bike, bad heart and new knees but still have the wind in my face! 2018 Indian chief vintage with a California side car on the back with independent suspension. Plenty more years of riding in the future. He will love it
Bless you guys, I’m a little older than your dad. Been riding since I was about 12 years old. Most of that time on different models of Harleys. Seen Harley through the bad times and the best of times. However, by the graces GOD, I’ve never gone down on my Harley or any other bikes I’ve owned. In my 65 plus years of riding I enjoy the journey. No hurry just ride. When I returned from Vietnam, the first thing I did was to dust off my old 60s Pan Head pull the needed maintenance after sitting 3 years. I needed this ride to shake off the troubles one experiences in a bad situation. I did survive my time there, others I knew didn’t come home. That old Harley was my best friend rode the pup all over the states for a year. Never left me walking. That time helped me clear my soul and my mind. I’m still riding and I’m pushing 81. On two wheels. Don’t want a trike. I’m in the best of health and I can still walk and talk and chew gum. Brandon, and I are the same age. He’s got issues. I’m good. See ya on the road some time. You younger guys slow down enjoy the ride, stop being the hot dog. Most of you guys are overriding your ability. That blacktop is unforgiving. Road rash heals slow, if you’re that lucky to survive your speed trick.
Excellent topic…my Daddy passed 4 years ago at age 75…enjoy the time with your Father it is the best time ever and the wisdom shared is priceless…keep riding and enjoying the road, I know I plan to and a trike may be in my plans in another 25-30 years or so…safe travels all…WOW!!! Great video and Happy Birthday to your Father he looks mid 60’s at most…here’s to more life.
This video very on point for me. Just returned from riding 6900 m through western states. At 77 years the time to make a decision is near. I’ve said “no trike for me” but the thought of not riding gives me pause. Thanks for the video and “Happy Birthday” to your dad. The Traveling Tall family is truly blessed!!
My wife and I choose the 2023 Harley Tri-Glide . The 120 th Anniversary Tri-Glide and it works...It just works for us.... BTW, we pack everything for everyone .
I needed this video. In a different way. I lost my dad in 2021 to cancer. 71yrs young. He loved bikes! He never learned to ride, but he would love to sit on mine. Last pic I have of my dad is of him sitting on my street glide. Your dad talking, just reminded me of my dad and all the memories just came rushing back! Spend time with your parents! No matter how you do that. Your gonna miss them when they are gone! Thanks Tall for this video!
Thks for sharing Tall, I'm 61 yrs young and been riding since I was 8yrs old, my son and wife started riding 20 yrs ago and now it's just me and the wife, as she do enjoy her own trike, my son started a family and choose to give up riding, you are truly BLESSED to be able to ride with fam., I enjoy every trip me and my wife take together, and we will be coming to the run to the hills in 2025 after my long 42 yr career in law enforcement come to a end in March 2025, Load says the same on my 24 RG Whiskey Fire, also your video's have cost me and saved me lots of $$$, just got my first LaPera TailWhip on Thursday and loving the Discover ESP motorcycle coverage, thks for keeping us riders in the know, always remember, like one rider always say, make riding a memory, not a dream, Peace!
Thanks Tall I’m in the category and found that interesting. Happy birthday to dad and I know he appreciates you. My dad is 93 and just thankful that we get to spend time together. Love the videos.
Blessings to your family! Your father is one of the real ones able to make the tough decisions to be able to still ride versus stop riding. Glide-on!!!
Loved riding with my dad. When he was about 75 he started riding smaller bikes. And kept riding until he was 82. Wish we had gotten him a trike. He’d probably still be alive today and out on the road somewhere 😎 Thanks for sharing this topic
God bless your dad! Until the rider loses confidence or comfortability on the bike they can ride until whenever............
Happy Birthday to your dad, enjoy the rides with your father as long as you can God bless him and your family
Very cool watching you with your family especially your dad. Lost my dad 5 years ago. He was a cool guy. He never rode motorcycles and probably never understood my obsession with it. Yet, he never discouraged me about my passion for. He bought me my first bike (mini bike) when I was little. Nice vlog as usual.
Tall, I appreciate your Dad's viewpoint. I'm only 67 and have been riding over 50 years but have some hip, back and knee problems - what retired cop doesn't? Right now when solo I'm on my 22 Street Glide but won't put the wife on it and go two-up, I can't trust my ability to hold it up while she gets on and off. For that we have a Can-Am F3 trike. When it comes to that, I'll probably go totally trike, maybe a Tri-Glide but until then I'm still doing 2 wheels as long as I can. Even then, I'll probably look for a smaller bike if that works so I'll have a solo ride. Something along the lines of a Heritage, maybe. Happy birthday to your Dad!
Tall, I'm 83 and I can't handle a 900 pound bike anymore , but trikes make me feel like i need a seat belt when cornering. I still need to lean to get the wind therapy. I also developed arthritis in my left and ankle, which made clutching and shifting an adventure. Since I'm not brand-constrained, I downsized to a Honda CTX 700 with a DCT transmission. It looks like a cruiser and weighs a handleable 480 pounds.. Power is good for how I ride. Too.. I haven't stopped riding yet. 👍🏾🙏🏾
It's awesome to be able to enjoy the passion of motorcycle with ur family I had that pleasure for one yr and my dad took ill after that but I would say as long as a person is in their rite mind ride long as u can keep enjoying life Happy Birthday to him also ✊🏿💯
Blessing to you and your dad
So nice to make it a family adventure. Thought about the Trike too. Have one specially in my mind. Roadglide Tri glide.
I'm 63. I've been riding my 03 Electra Glide for 21 years now. We're growing old together!
Happy Birthday to your dad Tall!🎉
Happy Birthday to your dad!
Turn 70,still in my blood...ride on...👍🇺🇸✌️
let him know it's going to take him a few months to get comfortable with the transition. I can tell you that he will love it once he gets used to it. I will feel weird I'm sure for a bit to him also highly suggest getting suspension tech or some other rear shocks to raise the rear end up just a lil bit to make the trike turn easier. Glad to hear that he's looking into going on a trike to keep on riding many people see it as a sin yet get upset missing getting out riding instead of getting out on a trike. Happy birthday to him and hope to see you guys out and about tn once i get the bike back to TN.
Happy Birthday to your Pops! Another great video!
Check out Tilting Motorworks. Hydraulics hold you up below 10 mph but you still ride like a normal bike. And you keep your bike.
Happy birthday Pops Tall🎉
Keep riding
God bless you and your family great video to cover👍🏻🙏🏻
Great idea 💡 to buy a trike because your father still loves ❤️ to ride
Happy Birthday JK!
Your Dad is LEGEND. This is beyond Harley, this is EPIC.
happy birthday dad ,,many healthy birthdays to come
Happy Birthday too your Dad. He’s a cool guy for sure!
Happy Birthday Pops!!
I love this ! Great video interview Tall !! Enjoy the rest of your summer season. And many more happy safe miles too you & your Dad , and family. 😎😎😎
Tall, we added the luggage rack and a RickRak bag to the wife’s RG3 for our Milwaukee/Sturgis run. Helped out so much.
Great to see your Dad. You don’t like ice cream, I don’t understand that. Great video’s.
When my time comes to go to three wheels, I would get the free wheeler and put a springer front end on it like the service trike! Suicide shifter would be cool, too!
Happy Birthday to Tall's dad!!✌🏽
Happy birthday in keep doing what you doing Ride
God bless and happy birthday
Last week 700 mile day 95 degree day 18 limited
73 old Bless 🙏
You have a wonderful family. Great Video!
I couldn’t do 2 wheels anymore so we got a(Freewheeler) trike. Still goin, into the wind. Even around the farms near us when it’s fertilizing time it’s great to get out lol. Happy Birthday to your pops.
Awesome track Trave, Cherish those Father & Son moments, mines no longer with me, but we use to ride together to…. Doc Graves…
Happy Birthday pops
I want to get back into riding and I'd like to take my wife with me. She is not about that leaning life though, her sense balance doesn't exist. So I've been looking at the Harley trikes for all the reasons in this vid. I do wish they had a detachable tour pack option. Harley could just have a trike version of the Road King, Street Glide, and Road Glide and you could build the trike up from there.
Happy Birthday!!!
Happy 80th Birthday to your dad🎉
Hey Tall, Your Dad looks great! Is it the leg strength when you get older? Or the balance? Your Dad looks great! Happy birthday and many more rides together! Love your videos 😎👍
Awesome job 👊💪👍Stay Blessed 💯
I really enjoyed this Vlog. Thank you sir.
Once again, OUTSTANDING video Too Tall! The topic today is becoming more of an eventuality for me, as I'm almost a worn out 62.
It's great thing seeing you honor your Dad! God bless you brother!
Thank you for all of your entertaining and helpful content.
Keep your head ona swivel!
Happy Birthday to Dad🎉
Your dad could’ve rode my RG3 in Daytona to see if he was ready to make the change. I’m always trying to get people on my bike lol Harley needs to let me be their ambassador for the RG3 cause I LOVE IT and it’s me!!!
Nice video keep up the good work traveling tall
Road glide trike is way to go. Get the weight off the bars. And I’m a batwing fan. But for older folks it will help.
Has your dad ridden Kim's Softail? That might be a good option for him too. He's riding literally the heaviest Touring bike, a Softail is like a kid's bike after an Ultra Limited.
73 115 lbs Love riding black Betty my 22 street glide
Wish that my dad rode. But I always told myself that when the time comes to decide whether or not it’s safe for me to be on two wheels then I’d go to three.
Happy Birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR!!!!
Happy Birthday young man!!
Friends don’t let friends ride with people that don’t like ice cream!
I’m lookin at a RG3 for my girl. Happy 80th to your pops ! 👍🏾
" Happy Birthday "
I would like to make Harley Davidson, senior citizen friendly. Two things need to happen, stabilize with two more wheels and a reverse gear. Both battery operated and we get rich by default.
Happy 80th
Birthday
🎂
Same bday as my Madre! Happy Bday sir. Now, is there a way i can get on his nerves that he will just throw his bike my way😅
I hope we all can make that west cost trip
With the trike you guys could possibly make it to Alaska.
Great video, happy belated birthday, hate to ask how much for the motorcycle 😢
Happy Birthday Sir
I am not going to make a number make me stop riding. I will ride until I can't ride anymore.
This is dope...
