hey, the low rider st is my dream bike. I am a man without a horse, but not for long. I am doing everything possible to purchase this bike. Thank you for your great reviews
I have my bags off more often than on but they're great to have when I need them. I'm also 6'3 and like the mids but I do have the crash bars I can stick my foot out on while on the highway if I want/need
Love that. Yeah man, what a sick bike. Love the look with the bags off but the function of having them when you need them! Weather nice by you? Been able to ride a lot?
I rode my buddies lowrider st a couple weeks ago for an entire day. I couldn’t get off the thing. He has the 131 crate motor on it and to be honest I’m literally bringing my 24 cvo roadglide st to Harley tomorrow to trade it in for a lowrider st. lol. It’s just a better bike. It works as a touring bike if you need it to. But more importantly it’s so comfortable and easy to just get around town.
This was a great review. I just test rode a 2024 Low Rider ST yesterday for the first time. I picked up motorcycling a little over a year ago after I bought a 2022 Iron 883 Sportster. After about 6 months of riding that, I also purchased a 2017 Softail Slim. In my first year of riding I did about 14k miles. In that time my riding taste and experience drastically changed, ang brought on my desire for a sporty bike that was capable of long distance and frequent travel, while still being punchy and lighter than a full dresser. I am attempting to get a good deal on a used example of a Low Rider ST in the vivid black, and trade both of my current bikes in on it. This would save me money (hopefully) on owning a single bike that does it all, rather than two different ones. I'd love to hear your thoughts, but in my research and experience thus far, the Low Rider ST just ticks all those boxes for me, as you said.
While having a sporty to rip around town for bar nights is fun, I just picked up a ST and it’s phenomenal. It does it all. So as you said, it will tick all the boxes for you. Bar hopper? Pop the bags off. Travel? Bags on. Power? Without a doubt will always have it. I love the lowrider s and st. But I like having bags and a fairing. I’ve had baggers, Dynas and sportys. Without a doubt, the ST is hands down the best of all worlds. If you ride with a helmet you don’t need all the speakers and infotainment center a bagger has. If you ride without one, you can add speakers to the ST. It’s the best of all the worlds with great power at the throttle. And yes, it would save you money only owning one bike haha.
I just test rode one at a demo day yesterday. If I had the scratch that is the new HD I'd be buying. I am only 5'4", am used to the forwards on my Softail Deuce and the first thing I thought of when I got on the ST was I don't know how anyone even close to 6' can ride this thing. It was fairly comfortable to me but I'd need some type of highway pegs for longer rides. Other than that and the sewing machine exhaust that you also covered I loved the dang thing.
@@SterShady Not yet, Ive been riding a sportster for a while with a sceamin eagle 1200 big bore kit and 16" apes and thinking the lowrider st will be a nice midway point between the sporty and a street glide. Im getting ready to sell my house in a month or two and move to a different town then I will sell the sporty and get a lowrider st.
What's up? Great video I am on the hunt for a Harley Davidson. It will be my third bike, but I have never owned a street glide or a road glide, and I have been looking at the low riders
Still have my 48. Saving up for this bike. Was going to trade, but now my son wants to learn to ride, so I guess I have an excuse to have two bikes. One for me, one for him. LOL
Just bought a 24’ ST last week. Bought it with 3 miles already has 800. Love it so far but man I need to get at least slip ons. Exhaust is way to quiet from factory. Thinking about going with the tabs like you have. Notice any power gains from the tabs? I feel like the factory exhaust is very restricted.
Yeah bro that was my first mod. Stock is so quiet. The slip on tab zombies are very loud. However in retrospect, I think just going for a 2 to 1 would have been better bc that’s now what I want. But a good quick fix is the slip ons for sure
yo thanks homie! and no it is not! at least not easily detachable. I bet if your a serious grease monkey you could take it off. but its not meant to be removed
Circumstances change, dude. I've dreamed of this bike for a long time. This year, I finally got my ST I hope you get yours soon. I'm bummed I waited 36 yrs
