Rolling with the Indian motorcycle I think the details on the sport chief is better looking than the low rider s in my opinion at the end of the day both bikes look good riding together

I've rode the Lowrider S on 3 different demo events and was set to buy one....until Indian announced the Chief and I dropped my deposit a week later.
After 2+ years with the Chief Darkhorse, I am very happy with my choice, but man, both of these bikes are amazing, you can't really go wrong no matter which you choose.

Great Video.... just fyi , the rear cylinder deactivation is for when the engine is getting too hot , it shuts down the rear cylinder at idle at lights to help cool down the engine since the rear cylinder always get the hottest. Harley has the same type of technology. it's not for fuel economy and doesn't shut the rear cylinder down going down the highway....

I actually own a 2023 fatboy. But aside from that between the two I would go with the sport chief 😅

Have a black '23 HD LRS. CR483 cam and 2BR pipe. Ran the 1/4 mile- 11.45@ 116. Not bad for a 700 lb. bike. Love everything about it. Sounds wicked at idle. Very happy.

Not always true. I'm a boomer and in my 43 years of riding I've never spent a dime on anything Harley. I ride an Indian Super Chief Limited, stage 2 with Lloydz tune and a few comfort add ons.✌️

Sport Chief is a serious contender, no doubt. It has decent suspension, risers and working front brake right out of the box. And having two rear shocks, it's better handling (IMO) too. Although rear shock travel rather short. Fairing is not great, but way better than Low Rider S offers. Also LED turn signals. WTF HD??? On the other hand, that exhaust and rear fender is enough for three bikes.
I'd guess it all boils down to how easy it is to make extra power with Indian. And I'd opted for a bit taller rear shocks too for any type of "spirited" riding. Also it doesn't look to be easy to add any sort of bags to the Chief. Which for some will be a huge letdown. And if I am to buy one, I would need some sort of re-assurance from Can Am that this will not go the way of Victory and few more dealerships would be nice. Right now closest one is 50 miles away with about 4 HD dealers around.

I understood a monoshock is better than dual shocks. And one with more travel is even better.

I'm not in the market for a new bike. But I do like both of these bikes. Styling is good on both but I like the Indian from the front tire to the seat until you get to the back fender. It reminds my of how Jeremy Clarkson of "Top Gear" fame described the rear end of the Chrysler Crossfire, it looks like a dog taking a crap. A restyle is in order I hope.

Points to the Indian for a true air cooled engine (no oil cooler although the Harley does a good job keeping their cooler relatively inconspicuous)
Points to the HD for monoshock softail suspension (the very slanted Indian shocks look funky).
Not a fan of the bronze color on the Harley wheels or the "shotgun" exhaust on the Harley with those holes or the big gulp air intake. Cans on the Indian are so big/long they unbalance the look of the bike.
The Indian engine is probably better quality.
Both nice bikes but have some aesthetic mistakes for me that can be fixed in aftermarket.

Fat Bob would be my choice if i was buying new. But I'm not keeping up with the Joneses so I'm happy riding my old bike😂 i don't ride thousands of miles per year, only about 2k

You're kidding surely. No contest; the Sport Chief has the same forks as the Challenger, and that is WAY ahead of the RG for handling and stability.
