How to use Non Sag Sealant by Rapid Set

- In this video I will show you how to use non sag sealant by Rapid Set as well as many other projects I use it for. The most popular use for this caulk is to seal cracks in concrete but it does so much more. It can also be used on doors and windows and interior trim work as well as exterior trim work. There is nothing this stuff won't bond to and as you will see me demonstrate, the strength is unbelievable!

Just rename the channel to Rapid-Set Projects.
Woohoo your back.
Appreciate the advice.
What you suggest to store excess for future use?
You are cracking (pun intended) me up! I’m now seeing sooo many uses for this. I feel like I waste so much $ on crappy stuff. Thanks for another awesome video!
Another great video. Teaching, showing the products quality and strength, and most of all fun. Thank You. Oh yeah teasing and suspenseful with the new shed. 😥😂🤣 Can't wait to see that new shed.
Hehehe thank you so much! I try ☺️. Next video will be all about the new shed build 👍🏻😊
I think the wood you used for trim was also a contributing factor to the failure. Replacing it with some primed redwood would have been a good idea.
Heeey! Michael! 💕 Can you used the Repid Set Sealant in place of silicone caulking in the bathroom? AND WOW! This is my new favorite adhesive!!! So strong! 💪
Hehehe thank you so much!
Another great video Michael but I was sure waiting for that blooper because you know yourself that would have probably hurt. LoL
I know right?!? Lol
Michael I know you're the man to ask what kind of wire or mesh to use for making a fake boulder with concrete.
This is just one reason I like being enrolled at MBU... I just wish I knew what the mascot is. Oh, It's Michael! Sorry...
Lol 😆
You should paint the end-grain, will triple the life of the trim and prevent the paint cracking.
Love your videos..I'm no handy woman but like to use some of these products for artwork..thx
OMG we thought you won the lottery and forgot about us
No way Lloyd! Just been dealing with new shed stuff and weather lol
I've used the product a great deal remodeling and love it, but what about light marine work on the boat, to hold a transducer wire in an aluminum track on the rail running it from back of boat to the front. So it's not heavy duty work but it is marine.
Worth every penny. Thanks also for the entertainment, lol
Can this be used to hold tile around a gas fireplace?
Absolutely
Wondering if you’d like a wish list?
1. Making a pedestal that accepts wiring for an outdoor lamp post.
2. Options for fixing a broken corner of concrete
3. A base for a fountain that can accept both wiring and water.
4. If I’m making stepping stones -in place- how can I get a stone look surface? I tried but they were stucco rough.
5. A small step down waterfall
6. Simple ends to make an outdoor bench.
Keep it coming. Nice video.
I just read that they released a new black color for their sealant. It appears this may appear to asphalt…not too many durable crack fillers for asphalt unless it’s hot rubber. Thoughts?
There is another solution to rotted trim: PVC trim. Yes, it is more expensive, but it is a permanent fix because PVC will not rot.
There are a bunch of negative reviews on home depot of people saying they could not get this stuff to squeeze out. I bet they didn't poke a big enough hole and were using grandpa's caulk gun but you have me sold, I was looking for something just like this and there are others similar but most don't come in sandstone which I need
So my dog has managed to dig threw the sheet rock by his bed.
Going to fix it. But was thinking of putting a barrier up between his bed and the wall. Wonder of this stuff would bond between sheet rock and diamond plate (not kidding)
Lol DOGS! 🤦♂️
It absolutely will bond
@@MichaelBuilds sweet. Lol my dog is 113 pd "Dwarven Mastiff"
Lab mix (with what we have no idea) but hes a barrel on legs with a powerful build. Hes like "country boy strong"
And likes to kick off the wall when rolling around on the bed. His nails just dig threw the sheet rock.
Theirs reasons I named his "Ruckus" lol why? Cause I knew he would cause a few.
Had some hair fall out. Used it on my head. Haven't lost any since.
I'm using this no sag on wood fence post. Gonna see if I can apply water based stain over it
Thanks. It's certainly useful to see how to use those rapid set products I usually just walk past.
I use 5200 boat caulking, last for years
That old shed is going to make a nice chicken coop. 😜
Can you use this stuff to seal cracks in wood fence posts ?
I thought you were going to use it as a dive board .
Best product testimonial at 8:25
Nice Video.
#STAYSAFE
#PHILLYPHILLY 🇺🇸
Does it bond to bottoms of Boots/shoes 💁🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
Yes actually haha
Where can I get that stuff in canada
Well looks like I found a replacement for that in my own uses... but will it hold this 240 lbs... plus for my own shop swing lol. Loving the vids!
Will this work around tubs
Hadn't even considered a new Better caulking gun ....just used what was in the house when we bought it....my 1912 house that could SOOO use a #MichaelBuilds visit ...LoL
dude.... I was screaming inside while you were trying to bust your back. I know... I know.... you can handle it... and then😳😳😳😳😔. the older you get, the more careful you need to be. Experienced folks that cate will agree. Nice new shed.
I hate Dap got me into a big mess .
Alex sucks, the Dynaflex 230 is fantastic, might not be good for the masonry caulking though.
Have to admit, that stuff is impressive, and not priced outrageously.
Having fun with your caulk...This guy puts his caulk almost everywhere...
Show us the shed lmfaoooo
Lol. Next video 🤫😉😆
@@MichaelBuilds 😂👌🏼💪🏽
Great vid at tip !!! Getting rid of that crappy one👍🏻
Lol 😂
I've always used OSI QUAD MAX. It is the best I've found and easy to find. I use it for permanent sealant jobs. I then use Dynaflex Ultra for a good seal that may need removal later. But I'll have to check this one out for other projects.
Well . It took you long emough to show us this .... O and finally a new video . Lol
Need to use this on some cracking concrete steps outside . Next spring i guess. Lol
👍👍
Hey Michael, I could use advice. I need to make or buy some concrete molds. I am looking to make tee markers for the golf course I work at. The ones last owners made using a red solo cups as a mold really look like trash. Need to be kinda of cheap because I need 180 for the course would like to make a few extra.
Michael--- what brand is Calk gun??? Awesome Xmas idea!!!
Nice to know it sticks to pretty much everything, but wood glue or Gorilla glue on wood will bond so well the wood will splinter before parting , and you can reseal the bottle. After you cut the tip on an 8 dollar tube of this, you need to pretty much use it all, as in my experience half used tubes have a short shelf life.
Okay, you made my morning, smiling is always a great start. 😂 I need some of that stuff, thank you for sharing another great product to use. BTW your old shed is looking good, getting a little TLC.
Your videos are the highlight of my day, you make me laugh like crazy. Keep ‘em comin and along the way I get to learn a few things!
I recommend using trim boards that are composite material. No rot and if you like the color, no painting. Almost no maintenance.
Thank you!
Thank you for the product suggestion. I will be using it to adhere my cement table tops to the bases.
such a shed tease LOL ..... fun video, keep them coming ......
You are too funny! And a great salesman! I'm headed to Lowe's to find some of that!
Only at the Home Depot haha
@@MichaelBuilds Rats! I'm a Lowe's girl!
Have you done anything with those cobblestone patterns for concrete?
sponsored???
I have quite a few current and future projects that I will have to use this for. Thanks for the video.
You’re Crazy!!!!!! We love it!!!
Lol 😂
Ok this product is going on my wish list. A case in each color. Thanks.
looks like good stuff. As far as the rotting wood, living in Ohio is a battle with the snow sitting up against it.
So awesome! Thank you for all the good info AND Love your sense of humor too!!
Would like to see a video on liquid nails (which is crap) v/s f26
Love all your videos please continue, I am learning so much from you.
Been nice if they made the black would have been perfect match for roof
The hole on the handle is used to cut the tip no need to use a knife
I’d rather use my knife. Those cutters do an awful job
How did that board not break?! That’s incredible
Great video Brother! How do you think it would work on the bathtub surround?
Great video. Thanks and can't wait to see the new shop. Keep up the great work
Don’t worry you are a great instructor that keeps our attention on products keep up the good work.
I subscribed to your channel after watching your videos with cement all and smooth on. Is there an in depth video you can do on mixing cement consistencies and applications?
I’ll add it to the list 👍🏻
Schill
Awesome! Thank you!
Love the intro.
Can you do a video on making a bar top with your technique? I was curious how far an overhang the concrete would withstand without supports.
Don’t go more than 6” without support. Any more than that and you definitely want brackets or something
@@MichaelBuilds thank you for responding. I wanted to make the form 1.5 inches thick with a 3 inch drop down on the edge (to give the appearance of a thicker material). Do you have any tips for that? Thank you so much. Your videos are great
👍💪
you probably didn't realize that there is a nozzle cutter on the handle of your caulk gun also
I hate that thing. It never cuts well. Rather use my blade
I'm pretty sure it's just a branch of their marketing division.
This is a paid promotion as per stated in the beginning of the video and no I’m not a branch of their marketing division. Rapid Set will ask me to do a video on a specific product every once in a while and that’s it. Everything else is 100% up to me. The project, the script, the stupid jokes… all me.
Yeah this channel is brought to you now by RAPID SET... made a huge mistàke man you took talent and started making long commercials for rapid set. Not interested in watching a commercial for product knowing it's a sales pitch. How much is rapid set paying you.... unsub
