This is incredible. Best ad I’ve seen for a product. I’m just amazed.
Best thing ever for mounting data racks to a slab. Makes traditional wedge anchors obsolete.
The shear attachment of the cinder block impressed me the most since it’s not at all what this is intended for. Looks like tough stuff :)
Michael, I apreciate you making us smile while teaching us something. I always look forward to your videos.
Ain't no joke Michael! When it says ultra fast you better work ultra fast. Just anchored my mini split unit to its pad! Thanks for the tutorial!
Very impressive adhesive Mike! I can see lots of uses for that stuff. Thanks for the video & demonstration! 👍👍👏👏
It reminds me of the old Crazy Glue commercial with the guy wearing a hard hat and is stuck to a beam above.
Thanks 😊
This is the kind of product I like.....Great demonstration..!!!
Your new space looks great!!!! So glad you were able to build it!!!
Dear Michael Builds: You are so awesome, good looking guy, funny, and very knowledge, trying to help many people. Thanks
This is a great video for those curious about construction without any construction experience (like myself)... keep it up!
Michael you are so very right about both those items and the pothole situation in Michigan. You Rule.
Lol 😂
Good to see.
Every Aussie boy needs a shed...Good to see you hanging around in yours...
I'm impressed
Thanks for posting... I'm sold
I love watching your videos! You got me sold on the product.
Always so happy when I see these notifications pop up on my phone 😃. Such useful information!
Fine. You win, I'm impressed.
Lol 😂 thank you!
Working in construction.... I might find a few uses for that stuff! Thanks!
Hell yeah!
Excellent demonstration. I hope RapidSet knows how much your channel truly benefits them!
Now I'm going to go listen to Wrecking Ball... it's been awhile. 😅 Thanks for the reminder AND especially for the product advancements education!
That's what makes your vids awesome😀
I'm impressed.
Holy shit your still alive! So glad to see you still making videos. Thanks for the info
Thank again love the content as always
It's nice to enjoy your work shop, isn't it? Great video. Rapid Set is added to my shopping list,
Oh my god YES IT IS!!! 😆😊😆😊😆
I seriously cannot express how much I love this new shed!
Thank you so much for watchin again Howie!
Lol love it epic video glad you got a sponsor well deserved 👏
Impressive product
This . . . is just INSANE 😝😝😍😍😍 Out of this worrrrrrld !! 😛😛😛
I'm impressed 😂
Love your videos - so impressive 😉
I had to hang a shelf on brick this week. . I did something similar to the brick when putting in the anchors into the brick. I vacuumed the holes with the house vacuum and used computer duster to blow them out. I then put in a shot of construction adhesive before tapping in the anchor and screws..
I should get some of that for the anchors I'm using for my railings on my cement steps.
Simply amazing test. Do you see feasible this scenario: use this stuff to fill drill holes in a concrete ceiling so it allows future redrilling and anchoring (light weight stuff like a curtain bar)
That would work great to repair a stone sculpture if it cracks, while I’m still working with it! Oh yeah!
That’s what I’m talkin’ about! 👍🏻💪🏻
Thanks for the informative video! I would like to use this to fasten the anchor bolt which holds the buttomplate to the concrete foundation but between the two I am gonna use a polietilene plate to avoid water absorption. Is it good with PE or it well destroy it after a while? Thx
Also used and in some applications required to attach a deck ledger board to a concrete wall
You are correct man... I do not regret it. lol Thanks Mike.
Wow...now THIS is impressive! I am working on a driveway project right now that this will be PERFECT for!
Michael, long-time subscriber here...I am sooo happy that your channel is growing and thriving as it is!!! I remember your video way back when you took the plunge to come here full time to make content for knuckleheads like me! I hope you get like a bajillion more subscribers! Keep up the AMAZING work, man! All the best!
Do you know if you can sand and paint it? Absolutely awesome video!
I was impressed. Lol. Nice.
This is for those "lives are on the line" structural integrity jobs. Never seen anything like this wow.
Impressive!
I spit out my OJ when you were swinging and yelled I'm an idiot! Awesome video homie!!
Can I use this to mount my concrete countertop to metal studs for my outdoor kitchen
That was awesome! Can I use it to glue my fountain. I drop the top and broke in half
Great product. At 4:45 PM, the rod is not snug, how do you maintain accurate positioning if needed?
Woooooo, convinced
You sold me, I have been wanting to put a shelf across the back of my shop big enough to hold pallets. But I hate the thought of expansion hangers in my poured walls that have no cracks. The 40' long shelf will have a support post under it, this will be just to keep it against the wall. I am a yooper and where else do you get better advice than from a yahoo on youtube, good video!
Would this be a good product to fill in a space between a garage wall and a basement floor to keep groundwater from seeping through the crack?
Hey Michael do you think this anchoring adhesive would work to glue a marble top from a antique dresser which was droped and broke into 6 pieces while being moved from one room to another
Yo, I’m impressed bro. You so did came in like a wracking ball… LMAO. I think I will be using this for other projects. Thank you for the video and as always, great educational video and joking entertainment. Keep doing what you are doing.
Can this be used as a patch or leveling substitute
cool video...
I know you said the "Swizzle" sticks are one and done, but what is the best way to store the tube for next time?
leave the stick on? remove stick and close cap?
I never have much success saving tubes for the next use... they usually dry up.
In this case it’s best to take the swizzle stick off otherwise you won’t be able to get it off. You can put the cap back on but it won’t matter in the end because the two components will not dry until they mix.
Will this work on asphalt too or just concrete?
Followed your anchoring adhesive instructions and it’s worked great. However you may want to caution that when drilling the concrete you may run into too hard to drill substances in the concrete slab. So be ready to find drillable areas, and that could be a challenge. Once you find the right area the anchor adhesive works great.
Use a rod buster bit
I think this would work on my loose brick of my fire place
Nice
Amazing 😬😬😬😬😬😬😬❤️
Can it be used for asphalt ?
What wood did he use for the shed floor?
Hey Michael, do you have a video on "aircrete" or "foamcrete"? That would be fun since you are the "Crete Man". 🤩🤩
Well done Michael. I guess you're going to stick around for a while. I can't believe I just said that. lol
Lol 😆
Get it?!… “stick around”… glue… lol 😂
I’m surprised that no one else threw that Pun out there hahaha
Miley Cyrus eat your heart out?? Renegade! You’re crazy and I love it
Lol 😆
Impressive product, absolutely sure I'll find a use for it. But where'd you get that rope? 🤣
Michael love your videos ? For you i am making a cast hearth like your rapid set older video do you think 2x8 ft by just under 3 in would need bar or additional support i want to pour and set in place. Thanks Shawn
Definitely use metal reinforcement or rebar
Hi, I'm wondering if you can help me out. I want to install a wooden fence onto a cinderblock wall but parts of my block wall I will be drilling into is hollow. Would it be impossible for me to use any type of anchoring bolts or to even do the fence at all?
Wowzu!
where do you find those 6"-8" threaded bolts? All I can find is 1'-6' in length online.
I literally LOL'ED...."GOOD TO GO WITH YOUR HOLE PREP"
😆🤣😝
Question Michael, will that two part epoxy work bonding two “waterproof” substrates? Meaning, does one or more of the two bonding substrates required to be porous? (Example: bonding together waterproof fiberglass )
That’s a good question. That would probably be a better question for a Rapid Set rep but from what I understand is that this I a product best suited for concrete to concrete or concrete to concrete with metal in between.
My guess would be no unfortunately but don’t quote me on that one haha
@@MichaelBuilds thank you for your reply.
As a two part epoxy, it cures without need for 'drying' and should be fine between two impermeable materials.
Those potholes are horrible here in chicago lol grand canyon season lol
Wow !!!!
Do they make something like this to glue an anchor into a brick that you can screw a bolt into instead of having a threaded rod sticking out of the wall?
What about using it into a cracked basement wall????
Can you clarify on exactly when and why you need to use the Acetone cleaner? You mention it in some videos and not in some. My husband and I are about to make our patio and would love even more ideas.
I'm a little late but in guessing he was using it to clean up the excess
I wonder what the tensile strength is Iam sick of jackhammering busted post out . Cherry picker and rapid set I was thinking
where can i buy this stuff?
What would you recommend to secure a gazebo to a concrete slab, other than using the epoxy method?
I also was going to ask this.
Michael are you there?
Nicely done Michael!
Will it work horizontally and inverted? Meaning can I drill a hole in a concrete overhang, squeeze in the Rapidset and insert an eye-bolt, or will the Rapidset run out of the hole before it sets up?
I would shoot it in the hole set the bolt and use some tape to hold it in. Peel it off when dry.
I don’t see why not. This stuff is pretty thick so I don’t see it dripping out
But I agree with @bill thacker statement
It's no sag so I would think so
Very cool product thanks for the share I love ways to keep shit together from tenants that destroy everything
Impressive, but please don't get hurt! We need to learn so much from you still :-)
Kool
He came in n like a wrestling ball!!
Lol 😆
You want to use this stuff or some kind of epoxy anchor rather than wedge anchors or anchor bolts that you just drive in when you want it to last for years n years. Wedge and drive in anchor bolts wiggle loose after a while. The concrete turns to dust around them with vibration
ROFLMAO, you are too funny! You are also the only person I *know* who has his own Curb-on-a-cart©️. Seems you are up to something BIG! Just make sure to put a leash on it when you take it for a walk… 🤪
I built my house with this stuff and it withstood an EF4 tornado!
Nice Video my man! Keeping it real!
🤠👮🏻♂️🇺🇸👍👋👻😉🍀. B9USA Sr.
Can this be used for concrete on concrete furniture?
Absolutely
Great demonstration! Great video! You came in like a wrecking Ball. This video is up there with your very first video from pulling the nails out of the pallet wood with your teeth 🤣😂😅
I was wondering if I can anchor my metal frame pergola gazebo on to the concrete patio with Lag Bolts (too many in my workshop) using LePage PL construction adhesive.
I believe once the PL adhesive sets in between the concrete and bolt threads, it ain’t going anywhere.
What do you suggest?
Why use lag bolts? Just use threaded rod so you have the option of removing/ moving it later. Using lag bolt doesn’t give you the option for removal and you also have no way of tightening it down in case a lag bolt floats upwards a little while setting.
@@kuntakentay6969 Thanks for the advice. I have used Hex Head Sleeve Anchors.
@@Cosmic_Soul sleeve are great for brick, wedge is better in solid concrete but no good in brick. Considering its just holding a gazebo the sleeve will work just fine.
Pot holes? In Michigan? Nah, no such thing. I-94 is a gravel road. Right? Now the last time I was on that road moving back to Kansas from Detroit it was one continuous POT HOLE. I imagine you could use this product in many ways.
Will it withstand the heat of a fire pit?
That…. Is a very good question lol
I’ll have to get back to you on that hahaha
@@MichaelBuilds that would be awesome. I'm just trying to get my caps to stay in place because, you know, everyone has to put their feet on the edge of the pit. It keeps knocking them off, and a 6x8 block doesn't feel very well when it hits your foot😅.
😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂 okay okay am impressed !
If you have attention deficit disorder, this is the channel for you. 😂🤣😂😆🤣😆
ANYTHING=== Big Claim. But I needz it like a paycheck/.
Wish I had used this instead of the wedge anchors I used. Old too soon, smart too late!
“Miley Cyrus” made me LOL
Only a dollar difference a year ago now the fast setting is close to $30 while the regular is only $10.47
LMAO "This is what I do in my shed all day"
Very good, thank you for sharing with us!
Only back side of the video when you talking to thin air and not facing to the camera is so distractive! Looks like you are talking to a wall.
Please avoid this in the future, look very bad.
When you do work, or demonstrate you can film yourself sideways if you need to. But film yourself sideways while talk is very silly. I have no idea why people do that. Looks very stupid.
Communication is better when you facing towards the camera and talking to teh audiance and you not talking sideways to nobody. It is loosing connection with the listener.
I like your humor and the close to the hole explanation is very clear and connective with the watcher.
Thank you for the info, good video apart from this recording mistake
