First?! Wow, I've seen hundreds of bands live over the past 2 decades and most were groups that I considered a favorite of mine at the time but as far as the experience, this one was BY FAR the best and most unique. You sure picked a top notch performance to call your first. Unfortunately no other band will compare to that experience...
@@derikothedon what really ticks me off is that I wasn't allowed to bring in my professional video camera, I would've recorded the whole show in high quality video & sound... oh well.

My $0.02 I was there. the show was absolutely amazing, no arguing However, the choice of venue was probably not the best one. Cobb Energy Center is a fantastic hall for watching operas, ballets, symphonies etc. But for the raw power shows like Heilung we need more open space where the folks can dance, trans, and be ecstatic. The audience spent most of the show seating and started dancing only at the last two songs. The artists definitely felt it. The Eastern could ve been a better place for this unique show...
I think for the sound aspect, it was great with the bass reverberating off the walls but I totally agree with you otherwise. I would have preferred at least the front area be standing room for that very reason.
@@derikothedon Right. And yeah, the acoustics was amazing (as expected though ;-) I was a little jealous since the next show was in Asheville Harrah's Casino. It is also a seating venue, but smaller and with much lower ceilings. I've seen Nick Cave there in March and the whole concert was a pure spiritual experience and everybody was on their feet
@@kyrilsolntsev2381 plus there was disable seating right behind where I was so it was a bit unfair for all of us to be standing the whole time because they would be unable to see at all. Again, for other types of shows this works fine. But for Heilung, not the best scenario... I had just driven 6 hours from Florida to see this show so I would have graciously stood the entire time. The only time I was still was while filming.
My wife and I were there too. We 100% agree! Amazing show but those tight seats couldn’t let us dance and flow with the energy! Unforgettable experience though. Will DEFINITELY be watching for more tours and outdoor venue 😍
I hope you guys had a great time. I hope next venue is standing so we can all crank up. Show Heilung that Atlanta can keep that pace the whole hour and half. 😀
The only real negative thing I have to say about it was that it felt too short also. I wish they would have thrown at least 2 more songs into the performance.
Quite an amazing experience being there. I was in the 9th row from the front and the beat was something that was felt through your whole body. They put on an amazing show. Bone Metal at it's finest. ☠
The feeling of all that percussion beating in your chest, experiencing the waves of euphoria and chills surfacing during this entire concert. Nothing compares! Absolutely incredible

You should all see the crowd in MTL like mostly every one was dancing and jumping with vikings jumping from the stage into the crowd. Totally Epic ! That crowd was not really moving
Ummmm not sure if I like the addition of the prancing guys etc I don't think it adds anything to the performance, much better to keep it like it was in their first and in my opinion best concert/ritual.
Yeah, LIFA was absolute perfection. Minus Carpathian Forest... however I like the atmosphere at the end of this performance due to the increased intensity to get up and move around.
Hands down the best show I went to. I thought the guys in the balcony seats were going to fall because they were rocking out to hard. 🤘🏻
Best show for me as well. The crowd didn't feel as intense near the stage (at least where I was) but at least the balcony was picking up our slack lol

Im so glad these are online. It was short but incredible to be a part of. So many people were dressed in furs. It was beautiful!

Raw, Primal power for sure! I traveled a long way to get there and it did NOT disappoint. I left feeling exhilarated and ready to face an army
