This is the best footage I’ve seen so far. I got teary eyed when the Native Americans joined. It sends such a deep rooted message of truth. That western cultures were warred upon by the Abrahamic God religion and it’s followers. And when I say western cultures I’m talking both Ancient Northwestern Europe and America. Don’t let propaganda history divert you from the real truth.
So it's an abrahamic God 's job? Oh, and they are still very active now a days.
I cried my fucking eyes out, and I still don't know why... I know and have seen the band before, but those Native Americans made me break.....so much cultural beauty raped and lost from this earth... the sadness is overwhelming.
The Great Plains Indians of the US and First Nations Tribes of Canada (such as the Sioux, Lakota, Black Foot and the Cree) should seriously consider performing a live "rain dance" or other sacred ritual with Heilung... complete with their traditional and very badass looking buckskin clothing and eagle-feather headdresses. Those Plains Indian war-drums along with the Nordic shamanic beats of Heilung combined with the ritual-singing of the Native Americans in tandem with the ethereal "kulning" vocals of Maria... and that sh** would be straight FIRE!!
Thank you for this! It just was not possible for me to travel to Colorado for this ritual. It was a cleansing of the spirit and I thank you so much for sharing. There were tears at 7:40. This is so very powerful. Takk fyrir!
Wow, one of my favorite concerts of all time is when U2 performed at Red Rocks back in 1983. I was living in Arizona at that time. Having Heilung perform at Red Rocks is just incredible. Nordic tribe meets Native American tribe, how cool is that! I love it when the local native people joined with Heilung at the end. Awesome!
so badass to see the native americans join them! bummed I missed this, but I did get to see them last time they were here in denver, and it was powerful!
Favorite song, even more my favorite after seeing it live. I was down on the left side. I hate the power went out for as long as it did. They did great just continuing without it.
I agree that when the power went out it was a bummer initially, but then when they kept right on performing, and when WE responded with such loud support and applause, it made it even MORE powerful for me!
The world needs more of this. Peace, harmony, people sharing cultures and having a damn good time doing so. I had mad goosebumps the entire ritual! Wasn't able to be there but if this video captures 15% of the magic then my soul has definitely been touched! Thank you so much for sharing!
