What a powerful moment when the local Native American tribe joined them on stage. They started blending in their own music and it all goes together. It shows how connected we all are.
Yes. They do it out of respect. They believ this isnt thwir land to perform on and call upon a local native tribe to bless the stage prior to their performance and then join them in dance during this song. Its incredible to witness. @Hip-Gnosis1134
This was such a singular performance. I like the band a lot, but had never seen them live besides the old Lifa castle show they released during the lockdowns... I was literally blown away. There aren't really words to describe a performance such as this in these days.
As an pagan native to the northern parts of Germany this is fucking amazing to witness. Just beauty through and through. I love how the two cultures of the Native Tribe contrasts the re-inacted culture of proto-germanic & eurasian people in the northern hemisphere. The tribe's regalia in their colorful beads and eagle feathers next to the reindeer antlers and bronze age clothing is just the two perfect sides of nature and how people interpret the world and powers surrounding them. One thing that makes me also happy to witness this shared dance is that deep down, all of these centuries and ages ago the ice bridge between Turtle Island and Eurasia was open and people crossed, spreading cultures all over. Somewhere deep down there Heilungs reinacted culture of the Eurasian people and the Native Tribe's culture are sisters to one another. Over time each found their own path. And while sadly, alot of Eurasian culture was lost to Christianity and conquerings, the Natives - despite all hardship they endured, every attempt to erase their culture and traditions (and sadly succeeding for some tribes who shall not be forgotten) - proceed to proudly display their heritage as it is their given right and how it should be. Celebrate culture, celebrate your roots. In the end, we're all human, no matter what belief binds us to this existence. THIS is what sharing culture is. To not steal, to not take without giving back, to sing and dance with one another and honoring the culture who's land you're stepping on. It doesn't even ask of you to strip down your own identity and culture. It just asks of you to be mindful.
I would LOVE to see them live with my daughter, 10 year old granddaughter, my son and husband!!! What an incredible performance!!! My ancestry is Viking, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Cherokee and Sioux. My paternal ancestry dates back to c. 1010. The same for my kids + German and British for them. My husband is German, Irish and English. Incredible!!!❤ ~ APRIL LIPKE
I wanted to bring my son but they had a strict 18+ policy at my local theatre. I'm sure it was because it's the South and...GASP...female breasts!!!!!! It was a shame though because he loves their music. If they go on another North American tour, I'll find a stop that he can go to because it was life-changing!
This song is the most maddening piece of music to me, the flashing lights, the drums, the singing, they make my skin crawl and drive me wild! I love this song. First time listening and then the sudden drop into the Merseburg Charms, that absolutely floored me!
The Denver ritual had the best energy! We attended 2 rituals in Chicago on previous tours with incredible energy, but THIS Denver experience was just insane! 🖤
I saw them in Worcester Massachusetts a few weeks ago! They had members from the local Nipmuc tribe and do the opening ceremony as well as a segment for this song as well! I wish there was footage of it
The more I see the more I want. If I ever get to witness this event I think it will be something I treasure till my dying days. Just hope the chance comes along one day .
Ya I agree 💯 powerfully done. That it brought me to tears seeing our Native American Indian Tribe to par take in this with them. Very moving. I listened to them at night to put my old arce to sleep!
Does anyone know if its the same Pow Wow dancers at every concert? Because it would be so cool if at every stop, they get dancers from whatever the local tribe is.
As far as I know it is not. Heilung is aware that their concerts are more like a Ritual. So when they are having their show in a location where other tribes/natives or indigenous people are home to, they ask for their permission to perform their ritual on their land and if they want - invite them on stage.
OMG this is The *D0pe Shit*. i agree that this Enormously Powerful Composition is *Not Racial*. in it's Nature, nor in it's Form. The Natives who appeared with them, to just Dance Together in Peace, Proves this...
This is no concert. This is a communion with the spirits, the ancestors who came before and being one with the Earth and nature. Returning back to our roots.
add a couple of wolf howls to start this ritual and I'm transported 40K years into the past. sitting close to the fire afraid and staring out into night looking for dangers that await my clan.
Just based on how most indigenous American tribes dance and African, Middle Eastern, euroasian and Eastern Asian shamanic and pagan tribes/ groups dance, I'm going to guess pretty similar to this. Bouncing with the drums seems to be a universal thing. My dad's side is anishinaabe and northern European, where my mom's side is celtic and acadian.
Not fully. A lot of their saints are made up so they could have a cheap knock off of our gods. Their "holidays" are perverted and stripped versions of our celebrations. The Easter bunny is connected to Oestre Santa Clause is connected to old druids dressing in this colors to gift dried amanita mushrooms during the winter solstice celebration for ppl to introspect and celebrate. The christians here never had their own culture apart from perverting sexuality, community and feeling guilty about being human.

Todellakin Hienon näköistä 🤗
Id love to see a Native America band similar to Heilung
They did something similar when they came to Worcester Massachusetts! Such a beautiful performance
@@sobekour souls need it!

i see this the first time and it gave me nearly tears to see the native joining that ritual
Pagans must unite against the abrahamic religions that tried to erase our religions and culture
One of the most beautiful moments of my life.
Same here man.

They released that way back in 2017, not during the lockdowns....... Yeah, time has flown by!

Beautiful, so wonderful. Thank you ,Heilung and thanks to the natives. Music connects us because we are all the same.
This ritual was transcendental for me, truly a spiritual experience. I need to see them again, simply amazing!😊
Most definitely!! Seemed like their drum beats were synced with my heartbeat.
@@lesjohnson2412 it was quite similar for me as well. The drums were like a primordial heartbeat that everyone shares one way or another.
Thank you very much for uploading. Greetings from Northern Germany!

Absolutely stunning performance
I jumped up and down the entire time this was playing! My second ritual with Heilung, can’t wait for my third.
Now that you mention it, I was jumping around also. I was also swaying at times like I was on a trance. I want to see them again also...SOON.
I jumped up and down for the PC today. Sooo crazy. I have a Ticket for September 2024 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I cant wait....
@@americasfavoritehoarder I was all that for Denver! Truly amazing how the music takes hold of you. It grabbed me by my soul and took it for a ride.
I loved seeing lil nephew being up there vibing with the ancestors

I noticed that too! He was up there giving his best and learning from others, couldn't ask for a better performer that night.
Wait they brought him up on stage?
@@Boudicaisback if you watch, you’ll see a younger boy in a striped shirt dancing.

I think this is probably their best performance since LIFA.
Playing my drum like a mad bastard watching this for the first time - maaaan my neighbours must hate me 🤣 Šamaanik!
You're welcome to move next to us 😂
Cool
Magnifique groupe, les frissons quand les Premières Nations sont rentrés sur la scène. Heilung venez en France svp !

This was the greatest thing I have ever seen,or been a part of. I don't believe in much but this show was special for me.
ohhhh my gosh !!! awesome...amazing
The energy during this was off the charts. Thank you for sharing this.
I can't help but get emotional every time I watch this. So beautiful and powerful
What a show! I saw the ritual in clearwater, it was amazing!!!! Thanks for recording and sharing!!!
😊❤🎉❤love this seeing American Indians with Heilung.

I thought about this ritual HEAVY for the next 2 weeks. The most amazing experience of my life
Wow. I never thought I liked Heilung and now I can't wait to go see them. This gave me chills all over 🤗
It really is incredible in person
I wish for Heilung to come to South Africa and let our Zulu Impies join them on stage. That will be an absolute blast! ❤

I’ll be at Red Rocks too
Nice me too! 🎉
In Seattle they had members of the local Duwamish and Puyallup tribes join them on stage... I've never felt more connected to my home
Going to see them in Los Angeles. Can’t wait!!
We are attending the Milwaukee ritual in 17 days! Soooo excited! 🖤
Awesome thank you!
Thanks for posting
Yes thanx
Man I wish they’d make a stop in music city Nashville!
Es war einmalig, sehr geil
Wow 😲😲😲😱😱😱😱 mind blowing 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Btw this crowd was so much better than clearwater florida. I reside in boston and it was so different. Happy to see and hear that as well.
I love being part native american cause that's a beat i can get down to and how their jingle dresses fit perfectly with the music
I love this band.
What a powerful concert. This performance screams return to nature.
Absolutely joyous :)
Much respect to the First People everywhere.❤❤
So grand that it leaves me speechless.
This is what these words are about, see this….understand the strength in what you see then learn the words of all the stories….
By the Morrigan I love this
A legit religious experience for both my Lady Wife and myself.
You all let me know for the love of the gods when heilung come to TX again particularly central TX in around ft worth or Dallas area!
We are one people.
Red Rocks twice now.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah man, I was there too. What an amazing experience!
Dangit, I should’ve gone to this show.
i think mother nature herself couldn't have done a better depiction of a tribal and primal ancient ritual than heilung and the natives did
OMG! 😮😮😮

When the local tribe joined, I lost it.
What do you mean you lost it? Go find it.

The drums in this song go fucken hard.
