it was pure magic. The acoustics of the sound and the skyline behind them was spectacular. 10k people howling like wolves with a new moon shamanic healing ceremony is something that will live in me forever. Also, the sound problems that happened near the end of the show really didn't seem that bad to me, they just danced and recordinated their ceremony accordingly then the sound came back for the final song. Feeling so blessed to have been there. Loved the crowd
To whoever handed me a free mushroom cap while I was puffing my dmt vape, you have no idea what a mood booster you were. This show was legitimate magic. Raw energy. Thanks everyone for such a fantastic night. Also, someone was supposed to sacrifice me. Middle of the amphitheater, if you read this bro, it’s me, Jordan. 😂
lol coming back around, i can’t listen to this, Traust, or Norupo anymore without being on the verge of tears. These wonderful experiences are life changing. I love y’all for having ole yeeyee Atlanta me around for it 🤘❤️❤️❤️
Had tickets and flight but got sick and was in hospital instead. Very grateful for this and other recordings of that night. Hoping they play in the western U.S. again soon, maybe the Columbia river gorge amphitheatre cos that venue has such natural beauty and I can drive to it!
With all the ritual cancellations in their European tour recently, this audience was one of the lucky ones! Wish I could have been there, and these videos are very much appreciated Thank you
This shit must have been insane. I saw them in Chicago before Covid, one of their very last shows before Covid, and it was crazy. But I cannot imagine the power feeling that at Red rock
Oh. My. Gandalf. Maria's part is even better than the famous Castlefest version. My jaw actually dropped. I am a heterosexual woman, but by jove I am in love with her.
I prefer the Castlefest version, especially in the first half when they sing together, the chords that are crystal clear in Castlefest are a bit weak here, especially from the female background vocals. Maria's solo was and is amazing but even there I thought her Castlefest performance was even more crisp and clear. Of ocurse this comes from someone who only has seen both performances on line and not live and I can imagine it would be very different if you actually were there. I like the quality of the Castlefest performance more for pretty much all songs, but the reason I listen to the Red Rock performances repeatedly is because of the audience, the athmospere which is a thousand times more impressive than at Castlefest. I guess, because Castlefest actually was their first public performance (just stop and think for a minute about that when you see it, their first performance, it boggles the mind), the Dutch audience didn't really know what hit them and though they loved it, it is clear that the native American audience here has no issue whatsoever of getting into this and of course that is not surprising. So I love both performances but for different reasons. You know it's weird, I've never heard this before, but it feels like I know it beat for beat....word for word. Almost like it's ingrained in my soul somehow.
I commented to my friend when Maria's part started you could hear a pin drop in the audience. Also silence for the prayer before right before the song.
It was professionally filmed as well, so there will be an official full length performance available to watch at some point :) Though I'm curious what they'll do about the songs where the audio cut out...
@@NatckGogg not that i know 100% of the inner workings of the AV world, but do they really rely on a laptop to run the whole thing? With no backups? If the problem was purely a crashed laptop, what was going on when the lights came back on but we couldnt hear anything save for some drum beats? I imagine there is some sampling used in heilung shows, but surely they dont just play a recorded show over their performance?

The sound issues last night were actually amazing. The way they handled it and still played and danced. Good lord...what a moment.

If Heilung could do a performance like this at Stonehenge..... Greatest show on earth!!!

ಠ_ಠ I can still sacrifice you.
Calm down jim. You're scaring the children... lol
Would it make me a more focused stronger warrior ?
would you suggest taking some shrooms for their shows? gonna see them later this year and was thinking of maybe taking a low dose for it like 1.5-2g
My wife an I flew from Seattle to watch the show! Great show!!
I will be forever energy drunk from being at this ritual. Forever changed my life.
Even with the sound problems they had, it was a GREAT show. Thanks for uploading!

Best show I have ever seen, hands down! Perfect for Red Rocks!

Very thankful for my brothers and sisters who were able to share the experience with those of us who could not make it in person. Blessed be.
This must have been absolutely incredible to see. I can't think of a more perfect venue.

I'm still processing it, I've been to a lot of shows but this was just so much more
It was powerful as fuck. I'm still feeling it too.
Almost 5 months later and I'm beginning to notice long term results from that show alone. My own music is taking a rather awesome turn for the better.
So blessed to have been at this show..... Absolute magic!!
Incredible. powerful. OMG I am changed!

No worries, in pre christian society, essential traits such as sexuality hold little importance
How could anyone and I mean anyone not be?! Well that is if you’re human…

Immediate chills as soon as the horn blows. I sure hope they come back again and that I'll be fortunate to see them. ♥
What a breathtaking performance!
A truly magnificent ritual! Couldn’t have been at a better place! Very happy I made it, well worth the trip from Missouri
Nice upload. It was a great show for sure.
I wish they would bring back Fylgja Ear. I loved the visuals as well as Marias singing during that.
ive been dying to hear another live version of FE since the Castlefest show
I’m Supposed to be seeing them in September ! Beyond stoked !
That was one of the best experiences...no joke!
I’m so insanely jealous of everyone there, but also so happy for you all ❤️

It’s called ancestral memory…..
Imagine what this did to the lay lines of the whole planet. Being at Ground Zero during this ritual is was OTHERWORLDLY!!!
Heilung is always spectacular but this had to be their most incredible show yet...
Please post that moment the sound when out! From when they were speaking to eachother at center stage.
I was here, and on a lot of mushrooms. Great time.
One hell of a show wasn't it!
powerful even more so At Red Rocks magic happens there.
Prettyh sure this was RIGHT where we were sitting.

wheres more footage of this song??? To me the high point is MArias vocals!
Did they ever figure out what happened with the sound? I mean obviously they did but is what happened public?
I saw posts on reddit of people saying they saw one of the guys in the AV booth have a laptop crash and he had to reboot it a couple times.

April 23.2024 I will be redeemed front row
To anyone that went to this show. Did they do Kregsgaldr and what song had the technical issues?
Yes, and it was Galgaldr when redrocks glitched. Even still, the experience was otherworldly, and energizing.
It first cut out toward the end of Galgaldr, then they moved to Elddansurin, which it came back for a minute for, then cut our again.
Also I believe they went from In Maidjan, to Alfadhirhaiti, to Krigsgaldr
I was there but further back. Fantastic show! What row was this recorded from?
I don't remember exactly, but probably 20th or so row up
It’s me or Kai sing the song differently?
It sounds like they added some of the Native American language in.
I think he was preserving his voice. Throat singing like that can be ROUGH.
