@_Angelo569 cool, man. We all do our part. I liked jumping and if I hadn't been Infantry and then SF, I always thought I might like to be a rigger. Mainly because I'd get to jump a lot more.
We did this in 2005 to the general managers Charger demo. It is night and day in the sound. You should of do a db reading with the stock and the muffler delete when revving up the engine in neutral. It's about the same compared to stock at idle but roars with the muffler delete when revved up.
I got a kit similar from American Muscle not sure if it was stainless works but it looks identical. I also decided I wanted the rear resonator as it was too quiet and I did it as well. It sounds sick without both. But if your wife is going to daily mid muffler is fine.
This car is her daily. The sound level is about perfect and keeps the neighbors from getting upset. Except when it occasionally sets off the alarm on my truck during cold starts...
Jessica, congrats on the new car! The Stainless Works kit I used is only for V-8s. The V-6 has a different exhaust setup. I found this kit from Khaos Motorsports for V-6s, and it might work although it says up to 2020. Worst case, a decent muffler shop should just be able to remove your mufflers and weld in a couple straight pipes. Your V-6 will sound different than a V-8 though. khaosmotorsports.com/products/mid-muffler-delete-kit-2015-2020-dodge-challenger-charger-3-6l-304-stainless?variant=39683627614404¤cy=USD&srsltid=AfmBOorEdgnE6wfWjadylmambGH69yeyqvt8COXGtm4xSd8z6aShxC0I7AM
@McCrazyWorld1 thank you 😊 she's beautiful and I love her, I wish that us v6 owners didn't get as much grief as we do, it's quite a bummer honestly but considering I live in Colorado, any kind of v8 would just hydroplane all over the place during winter here. Yet I also know I can mod my car to sound very nice and not slide down the road when it's snowing. I appreciate you replying to my comment and I'm trying to find a reliable place to mod my car that won't take advantage of me.
If you take the mid muffler out and replace it with a straight pipe, it should sound the same as this. My wife's car is a 2023 Challenger R/T with the 5.7 V-8 like yours.
@@spikekavalench I'm sure someone has. I think it would be less effective however as the rear resonators are significantly smaller than the mid-mufflers. The straight-pipe systems get rid of both sets of mufflers and resonators.
@@spikekavalench I would agree with you that straight pipes are too loud for most people in most situations. Not worth the negative attention from neighbors or the police. But removing the rear resonators after the engine was already drastically muffled by the large mid mufflers wouldn't get you much change in noise and tone, and I doubt it would be worth it. Removing the mid mufflers gets a noticeable increase in volume with a coarser tone, while not getting to the point of being too loud like straight pipes. It is the Goldilocks change, in my opinion, for most people.
This was the most intelligent review I have seen in years on a mid muffler delete! Nothing gimmicky, straight to the point. Loved it! Thank you!
Awesome, thanks for the great feedback.

Your opening video suggest you were Halo qualified…. What team?
@@_Angelo569 I was MFF qualified but never on a MFF team. I was on 5332, 5315, and 5312.

I did get readings with the car in neutral but the computer limits the RPM to about 3500 so I kept it out of the video.

Great video! Does the car pull a little bit better?
@DEXTERSONEMANBAND I wouldn't say it pulls any harder than before, not enough to notice anyways. It just sounds a lot better doing it.
@@McCrazyWorld1 thanks man!
Nice work
Thank you.
I just got a 2023 AWD last call in smoke show sxt and can I have this done?

Do not do shit to the v6 exhaust everyone will hate you
Stainless works are great
They do make some quality gear. This delete kit is pretty simple but they have some really nice headers and full exhausts.
So I do mid muffler cut does it sound coming like that.i got 2023 v8 rt .thanks

Has anybody ever just deleted the rear resonators?

@@McCrazyWorld1 I feel like full straight pipes would be too loud. Drove an SRT with just mids deleted and that was too loud for comfort.
