Just want to say, at the end of the tank section before the final area, there's an easier way to get the tanks up to where you push them through the no vehicle barrier. You can destroy those large shield wall things with the tank and driver over them. I found it easier then trying to driver the tank up the concrete walls and between the two palm trees.
Fun fact, instead of trying to drive the tank at an angle over the railing to get up to Dutch you can destroy the top part of the barricade with a tank and drive over it.
Man you shoulda mentioned I gotta keep both tanks BEFORE the door locked behind me :/
As if it wasn't obvious enough already that we're not playing the same game, the banshees took like 10 direct hits each while flying around like ace fighter pilots dropping banshee bombs on me every single time they loop around
One time when I cleared this, it wouldn't end the mission and after five minutes I found a jackal up on the roof somewhere
Where’s the logic it takes 10-11 tank shells to take out a wraith but only two laser shots okay then
Dutch's AI deactivated while I was doing the tank trick, not having an invincible AI with unlimited fuel rod made the last section significantly harder...
If for some reason you are like me and the very end of the mission won't trigger... there is the tiniest little alcove on the side of the right stairs (directly under a lion looking decal to the right of the giant 10 on the top part of the wall) that is shown in the video where a single jackal can hide. I probably spent a solid 10-15 minutes trying to find the last enemy, and I just so happened to see the smallest sliver of a jackal shield there.
...these tanks are much harder to control than I remember
Finished ODST LASO just the other day after watching your old ODST LASO guide, thank you for the tips :)
damn ODST Laso was pretty enjoyable compared to everything else, didnt even need to pull up the guides for this one.
Silver is Lord, and the righteous man must study His works.
Omg the ghost jack was so helpful I'm going into final area so nervous
just did this a few weeks ago, cool to see the change in strats!
Great guide this is the new method we are using for our laso speed run

Great guide! Only problem I had was the marines from the first section jumped on the tank and would try to drive it every time I walked away lol. Somehow they never died through the entire level.
If you dont have the tank in the final area - I did it with the SMG and the beam rifle. I went up and murdered the tank on spawn when it dropped by mounting from behind and meleeing it. Ran way up into the hills, made my way back to the entrance to the area (by the no longer accessible tank). Beam rifled any brutes that wanted to give me a hard time, smg'd some grunts from range until the way was cleared for me. wrapped around slowly beam rifling brutes + carbine jackals until I made it to Mick. Replaced my weapons with a needler/brute shot + Plasma Pistol for the last 4-5 enemies.
Love this mission
Beat this today. Actually not that bad once you get over the notion of having to constantly stay in cover despite being in a tank.
