This game really was the worst blowout ever. It could have easily been the largest blowout in league history if Belichick didn't pull all the starters midway through the 3rd quarter. Brady could have _easily_ reached 7, 8 or even 9 TDs in this game if he wanted to. Yet Belichick pulled him early and all we get is the record for TDs in a quarter. What a shame.

That 2009 team was a watershed moment in extending the dynasty! Throughout that season they were inconsistent on offense , with virtually no running game and a poor, ( by Patriots standards ), defense. That same season Bellichick
was featured on a Football lLife and said it best: If Moss was stopped deep or Welker underneath you stopped the Pats. The 2010 draft featured drafting Gronkowski in the 2nd round and Hernandez in the 3rd round, ( great player pre murderer). This gave them a running game and a way for Brady to dominate the middle of the field. They also drafted McCourtey in the first round which began their defensive resurgence. This allowed the team of the 2000s to become the team of the 2010s!

We're going to be fine. The only fans left on the patriots now are the none bandwagons, the ones that actually care about the patriots. I think we identified some key needs in the draft. I highly doubt we'll have much of a chance THIS year, but watch out for us the year after. Things can happen.

The color of their uniforms were probably a huge factor for this loss-aside from the cold weather and the home field advantage. Imagine being the QB for the Titans, having to throw a ball to your receiver, who are wearing a white jersey with a hint of blue, in a blizzard and the field covered with a blanket of snow. Even with a good eye sight and the ability to throw in the cold, that is a challenge in it for itself.

There weren't too many bright spots from them that year, but I enjoyed the Patriots' dominant win over the Titans. One classmate, a Titans fan, was all over me regarding the Patriots at the time (ripped on them with some friends of ours the year before) and this was the ultimate revenge and the greatest humbling. This game was one of the feathers in my cap for my senior year of high school.
I was able to record most of the game until CBS pulled it when it was 52-0 in favor of a game that was more competitive. If it weren't for the dogs getting called off, they would've scored 60. Maybe even 70.
