This is probably the car with the most consistent acceleration times that i've tested. All 0-100 times fall into the 5.0 - 5.1s interval (whether 0-100 specific measurement or 0-100 within the 1/4 mile test).
That's damn quick for an SUV!
@@davefellows yes, indeed it is! 😉 Besides, imagine what a simple stage 1 could do...around 400hp, 800Nm could take this car to low 4 sec to 100 and a 12 sec 1/4 mile. And this is a diesel suv we're talking about

@@mikekos7606 extra 90hp is probably a bit optimistic for stage 1.
@@AcceleratingCarsThis has been a regular firmware for a long time, just through the power, not through the moment. On the ST2, the car produces 460-480 hp and 0-200 for 14.2.

@@mikekos7606 no, it's not slow. And i don't think there are stock X3 M40d that can do 4.7 sec to 100. As for 0-200 or 100-200, i did not test this.
@@AcceleratingCars I have G01 40d stock pre LCI without mild hybrid, 0-100 = 4,65, 0-200 = 19,12.
@@mikekos7606 i 100% don't believe this. Did you measure GPS times, no 1-ft rollout or some other shit? You are commenting on another video too (the X5 40i) where you claim that it's "real" 0-100 time should be 5.6 sec but you have no problem stating here that a car with 60hp less (moreover, a diesel) is a full sec faster to 100. And bare in mind that this X3 is a heavy car, it's not like it's 300kg lighter than the X5.
