its still a very popular game I've been playing it a lot its just a game and everyone has their own preference you know realistically I don't think fortnite will die for a while. and even when people call the game dead its still a big game making money and some people enjoy it and its on the easier side to run compared to like COD and other games.

The best way to play with the 1660s on any game is ultra textures native res 1080p and lower some of your other settings like shadows or water effects and you are golden. i use a 75hz 1080p monitor and run everything at 75hz and its great. havent found a game i cant hit 75fps with a bit of tweaking. the hardest game to run with this card that i know of is Battlefield 2042, RDR2 and Cyberpunk 2077. like i said though you gotta tweak the settings.

If you get that with unlocked framerates, then it is a CPU bottleneck. There are a few things you can check. 1. The RAM speed. Low speed/high latency RAM makes the CPU not work at its full potential. Also check if XMP is enabled if you haven't. 2. Check if the CPU isn't thermally throttling. 3. Check if there's a bios setting that is limiting the CPU clocks/TDP.

did tried out 1080P performance mode with view distance and texture setting to epic for my I9 9900K OC in 5GHz. it performed almost the same or better than the r7 5700G. but it's Still Stutternite on my PC.
Please benchmark Farlight 84 and Combat Master (combat zone which is battle royal mode) especially on low/very low end cards, these are far more interesting and entertaining games than Valorant and counter strike etc, and super easy to run.
Competitive shooters that fill out matches with 'bots really should be honest about it - make sure it has "[bot]" or something in front of its name and, most importantly, make it LOOK like a 'bot [metallic, angular, etc.] rather than like a player.

I got a deal at Micro Center for an i9 12900k, an Asus Z790 motherboard, and 32 GB of ddr5 RAM for $399. I want to know if a Corsair H150i will be able to keep my temperatures at good levels. If anyone knows or has any experience with this, I would appreciate a response so that I don't screw up. This is my first time building a PC and I don't want to fry my CPU. I had a prebuilt that fried the CPU instantly and I was able to return it. If I make that mistake myself, then it will be my fault.

In my opinion, low settings on Fortnite (DX11) looks better because it fits the cartoon-ish art style and it's not a AAA game and gives more FPS
DX11 is bad. It'$ the same as Performance Mode. You can have very high fps but dozen matter because unstable.

I've noticed that it is better to use dx11 if you have a cpu bottleneck otherwise dx12 is ok
