Hi, I have a nomad C exactly like yours and I'm considering buying a conversion kit. I ran into the question of mid-engine or rear engine. How is this working for you so far? I'm afraid of damaging the frame, I know these Nomads C can handle a lot of abuse and still be fine, they have very strong frames. Any input please?
I am also thinking of going in the same direction. My issue is the carbon section that you cut. Isn't it dangerous? I have a santa cruz tallboy and to be able to fit the motor I will have to do the same
hi, i need know the BB measure of your bike, can you use a caliber and refer? I like transform a nukeproof scalp 2012 in electric but i not sure to take 68mm or 100mm motor, the BB of my bike is 83mm!
Where else would he put it. I'm thinking about converting one of these, and I don't like it either, but with the rear suspension placement, there's no where else to put it.
@@3dkiller Because most carbon frames are thicker around the bottom bracket and simply the motor does not slide through but you got lucky, must be very thin and weak.
I put an HD on an old Stumpjumper FS. Too much fun. Enjoy. I run an ER also.

What strap you use for mounting battery?

Hey there,

For 83mm I think you should get the 100mm and use spacers... for what I know the 68mm goes ok up to 73mm only
Just measure it with micrometer.. o need to rocket 🚀 scientist !,👨🔬 😅😅😂😂😂
@@n.a.3734 the bike is all ready assembled and running long time ago...
What you use finaly?
I don't think it's a great Idea to mount the battery like that on a carbon bike. They say to not even mount the frame in a bike stand.
i am not a fan of your choice of place for the battery... if you crash you might up fucking up the expensive battery.

Bbshd is not for carbon frames
why not it should be fine.
